Fantastic customer service! They came out the same day and removed even more items than we originally expected without charging us extra. Very competitive prices! Michael, Andrew, and coworkers were all a pleasure to deal with. We highly recommend! read more

The guys were friendly, pleasant and very professional. They loaded everything I asked them too and worked with me on timing (they came back the next day). I also love the environmental policies they follow. read more

We used the services of this company twice within one week. It is a great company and so are the people who work for them. They showed up on time, were very courteous and helpful and went the extra mile in not damaging our walls when removing heavy items. We would recommend them and use their services again. Thanks! read more

Really helped out getting rid of excess items before putting my house on the market. I would use them again.

Fast and reliable service. A little pricey but worth it if you're moving and need furniture removal ASAP

Had a great experience with Junk King! Messaged them here on Yelp and they got back quickly offered a quote and we're ready to set up a pick up for me. Cheapest quote I was given out of four companies. They came the day after I reached out and called ahead of my scheduled window to let me know. They hauled a mattress out of my house and were in and out within five minutes. Will definitely use them in the future. read more

I needed to have a sofa and some other furniture picked up from my apartment building. Not only was booking an appointment nice and easy, but there was great communication from the company leading up to and during my pickup, I found everyone to be very professional and the rates very reasonable. Prompt, efficient, easy to work with and reasonably priced. We have been so impressed with Bill and his crew that we've used them several times. I can't help but laugh at the smooth-brain reviewer Katrina that complained about her price. They quote you PRIOR to doing the work so your complaint is completely unfounded and, oh yeah, it's your only review ever. And that is part of their appeal: they do the crappy work you don't want to do, they do it for a fair price and they tell you ahead of time. No surprises. If something is going to cost more, they will tell you but they also go out of their way to make sure it doesn't cost more. Excellent place, would recommend again and again. read more

Response time was great. Unfortunately, they didn't have what I was looking for but I appreciate that they reached out as quickly as they did. I give them 5 stars just for the customer service. :) read more

I called Junk King this morning to have them remove my old sofa and love seat, the owner answered the phone and was very professional. They were able to come right away and even called to let me know they would be earlier than expected. I would use them again if the need arose. read more

Very nice and responsive folks. Unfortunately, I only needed a couple items hauled away and didn't feel it warranted their minimum charge. I'd consider them in the future if I ever have more stuff to haul. read more

Junk King was a super professional service. They provided up front pricing, and their estimated arrival time was spot on. Once the crew arrived, they all wore masks and gloves. Service was quick and efficient. read more

We just had some furniture removed and we are very pleased with the service. I requested a early pickup and was instructed that I would have a 9-11 pickup window with a call 15-30 minutes prior to arrival. One of the employees called about 10 of 9am to let me know they were on the way, and arrived about 20 minutes later. They promptly removed a very oversized twenty year old sofa and recliner and worked as a team to problem solve to get it out. I used the Yelp voucher and this was a great deal. They will show you a "menu" with photos as an example of job loads and the prices. Once the job was finished they completed the business component and were on their way. They were very courteous and we will absolutely call on Junk King again for junk removal. read more

Both guys who showed up were great, very professional and quick. I was going to pass as I had been quoted a lower fee by another business, but they talked with management and matched the lower offer. Really great guys in person, and really great behind the scenes staff. Highly recommend! read more

I am extremely pleased with the service I received from Junk King. First thing I really liked was how you could go to their website and get a rough estimate of cost based on what you're having hauled away before even booking your appointment. The price quoted when they got here was actually lower than what was estimated and it was a very reasonable price. The online booking was easy too. I chose an 8-10am window and they were here at 8:15 so I didn't have to wait around for them. They also called when they were 20 minutes away so that you know to expect them soon. Our two guys, Alex and Steve, were very polite and professional. They were quick with removing the sofa, loveseat and bookshelf we needed hauled away. I will definitely use this company again if ever I have the need to and will recommend to anyone who may ask me who they should call to get rid of heavy items. read more

Took another look through house and the movers forgot to get one room full of junk. Very dissatisfied.

Junk King responded almost immediately when I needed someone in a hurry to grab a bargain off Craigslist. The guys were friendly and strong and gave a fair price. On the less-good side, the item was not handled with care: An assumption was apparently made that because it was of hard material it could take a beating, and it was literally thrown onto the truck bed versus being placed, from where it slid to the other end, striking against it. A good way to break your goods. So if you hire these dudes, just photo your stuff from all angles immediately before pickup, pay conditional on same-condition delivery, and photo all angles on delivery. read more

Scott and Ethan did a real professional job in my home, removing heavy office items safely with attention to protecting walls, doors, and the remaining items. The estimate given at the time of service was where I had anticipated it to be and fair price.. Definitely can recommend. read more

Had a great experience with them. Was quoted a low price and also got the yelp voucher. The guys who came to the house were really nice and friendly. They called ahead and were right on time. No hassles or issues. They were in and out in less than half and hour for our old treadmill on a very cold and snowy day. read more

I had an old sleeper sofa that needed to be removed. Called Junk-King yesterday afternoon (01/10/2016) and the woman made the appointment for today (01/11/2016). She said the people would be here between 10:00-12:00. I received a call at 10:40 by Ryan, he said, "Matt and I will be there at 11:30, we are unloading the truck and coming straight to you". 11:30 came, Ryan and Matt both showed up, very professional, very friendly, and had my sleeper sofa out of the house in under 5 minutes. $99.99 for the haul, which is way cheaper than all the places I priced. 5 stars all the way! read more

They did a great job for us today. Very impressed with the way they "broke down" items and packed the truck, utilizing all the available space. Will call them again. read more

Excellent, prompt, professional and friendly service. Five star service!

Punctual, professional and friendly. I've used before and will continue to patronage this business.

We've used Junk King twice. Each time they were prompt, friendly, and professional. They are very well priced for their service. Cleaned up everything fast and made sure we were satisfied before they left. We'll definitely use them again. read more

Quick service, they came within the time frame and worked wonders for my townhouse apartment. We had too much furniture due to downsizing our living space, our heavy old TV , beat up sofa and gently used chair and coffee table are finally gone. Now our place is not so tiny anymore we can stretch out! We used the yelp voucher for the savings. Junk King is professional, friendly, and drama free. Highly recommended! read more

I called at 10 am to get a large piece of furniture picked up. Took 5 minutes on the phone to book a pick up for later in the same day, even though they have a 50 mile drive to my house from Richmond. I was called by the crew enroute and they were right on time. Professional team, uniformed, polite, respectful of my "non-junk". Took them 5-7 minutes to load up, they were not in the driveway 15 minutes total. When you consider I'd need to rent a truck, find a bud to help me load and haul it to the dump, I think the price they charged me was quite reasonable. Recommended without hesitation. read more

Quick response. Prompt. Professional. Reasonable pricing. Carefully moved each item. Very communicative. Really like this company and will use again. read more

The service overall was great. They were timely, professional and picked up the "junk" quickly. They weren't 4 or 5 stars because their pricing isn't as standard as they advertise. It isn't really a price per square foot, no matter what. I had three 32 gallon trash cans full of broken concrete, which is about 2 square meters of "junk". There is a multiplier put on "construction material" that no longer offers a competitive advantage with their universal "per square meter" pricing model. With construction material, you can put it in a truck and recycle it yourself for incredible savings. The genius of the fixed cost "per square meter" pricing is that it's a negligible savings to do it yourself, especially if you have to rent a truck. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again for items that fall in the standard pricing. I'd rent a truck or bin to dispose of concrete, gravel, etc. in the future. read more

I hired Junk King for their dumpster service. They were on time delivering the dumpster and placed it exactly where I needed it. Their dumpster was clean and odor free. I spent the weekend filling it and they were quick to pick it up Monday morning. The communication was very good and all people I dealt with were professional and courteous. Best of all they were respectful of my yard and my driveway. Can't say enough about the great way they treat their customers. Thanks so much!! read more
