Booked 2 car detailing as bday gift for girlfriend, which Mr Teal was kind enough to accommodate on short notice and even came to us. First he said he was booked and couldn't see us but a couple minutes later he called and said he found some help so he could come (he works alone mostly). Normally I wouldn't mention this but it didn't add up (if the issue was that he was booked, he would have needed a cancellation, not an extra pair of hands in order to come out) so in hindsight he may have had a pattern of dishonesty to avoid conflict. Said it would take about 2 hrs. 3 hrs later I looked out window and they were still working, rubbing same place on windshield over and over so I went outside to get an update and noticed a new 12-18" edge crack on gf's car. I asked Teal if it had been there and he said it was, that he was trying to be careful around it. I told my gf and she said it was brand new. She drives her car every day usually multiple times. His site said he was insured so we pushed the matter in hopes of avoiding the repair costs but he kept denying he or his assistant were the cause. Gf had to pay $500 for new windshield and we wasted two days, bday present from hell. If the crack appeared overnight and was there when they started detailing, I'm really sorry for this negative review, but all the signs and physics of windshield cracks point to this being a new crack caused by impact near the edge, and I've learned my lesson to do a walk around with the Detailer prior to allowing detailing. Overall the cars were nice and clean but not a deep clean - trunk still had bunch of crumbs and my interior windshield still wasn't totally cleaned like prior details I've had. Without the crack mishap I'd give it 3.5 stars. read more
