We were able to make an appointment for our preferred date and time for the following week. We were seen promptly at our appointment time. The inspection was completed in about 35-40 minutes while we waited in the small waiting area, which has vending machines and a rest room. The business appeared to be well-organized with spare parts. Our vehicle passed inspection, and we were on our way. Price was fair. There was no attempt to up-sale us for any unneeded services.

We finally got it running & had to drive back to Clem's for them to look at it. We saw Steve pull out the clogged oil filter that was never replaced. He replaced the filter & the truck ran fine. Steve told us it was a bad filter when we literally saw him take out the old filter & replace it with with new one on our 2nd trip meaning he never replaced it in the first place although we were charged. Not good service!

I've gone to Conwell's for years because it's close and convenient. As a woman, customer service is…read morereally important when going to auto shops and Conwell's has a female working the front desk. One would think you would get a comfort and sense of respect when dropping your car off to trust them to do the job. The job was finished but the nasty attitude made me never want to return. I was left waiting at the front desk to pay for my service for almost ten minutes, when she finally came out from the back she was on the phone with what sounded like a personal call. She then took my card while still on the phone to process my payment then tossed my card across the counter. I signed my receipt and turned to walk out of the door, she said thank you. I didn't respond so she took it upon herself to say "you're welcome" very loudly while still on the phone. This kind of attitude did not make me feel my business was appreciated. 2 stars for 2 days to finish a $95 a/c recharge with a side of free attitude.

My Grandma used Tire Tread services recently. She has been a loyal customer for the past 40+ years,…read moreand I have never once heard her complain about how they treated her before this most recent visit. I am not sure who "Danny" is that works there, but he embarrassed my sweet Grandma so unacceptably on multiple occasions, I would be surprised if she ever felt comfortable or safe using their services again. He tried to take advantage of her by quoting her over $800 for a $250 auto part. When she tried to question it and advocate for herself, he put her on blast and argued with her, causing a scene in front of multiple other customers. Now, I don't typically give negative reviews, I love supporting local businesses, but when I hear that an innocent person was taken advantage of by a supposedly "specialized professional", I find it severely disconcerting. We are supposed to be able to trust these individuals to take care of our loved ones by providing the best care possible for their automobiles and make them safe and reliable to drive. At the very least, I would have expected my Grandma to have been treated respectfully and professionally. I was shocked to hear otherwise. I won't encourage others to avoid this business just because my Grandma was victimized by a single employee, but I do hope that a certain level of accountability will be maintained within their staff moving forward.
