Doctor Eric Jennings at this location was highly recommended by a friend…read more When we had our first consultation with him, Doctor Jennings explained everything very thoroughly about Cataracs surgery and he answered all our questions. We saw a video and how the surgery will be performed. He explained about the healing process and how to apply eye drops and also about the restrictions after the operation. After the consultation we met with the insurance lady who explained about the insurance process and gave us some paperwork. Each person at this office was very pleasant and professional. We were very happy about this location because it's conveniently located close to our home. When it came time for the follow up visit, after the first eye operation, we were able to get an appointment for the next day after the surgery at this location with a different doctor. That was fine too. However, after the second eye surgery, our appointment at this location was cancelled. Reason was that there was no doctor available at this office. So, we had to drive far to another Woolfson office located at a very congested area in Atlanta. Again, the staff was nice. But we do not want to go back to that location because of the construction work going on nearby. The saga continues! We were able to schedule the next follow up appointment in Canton, GA. That was nice because we saw Doctor Paven Korotana who was at the Atlanta location. She was very nice and informative. Hopefully she will be at the Canton location for the next follow up visit. Overall, we are very pleased with the quality of care that my husband has received from Woolfson Eye Institute doctors and staff. The staff was professional and looked great in their matching scrubs too. Wait times were short, including mine. I saw Dr. Saadat, and he was just as friendly as the other staff members. He was also very professional as well as knowledgeable. Dr. Saadat performed a thorough exam. I had never experienced an exam as detailed as the one I received at Tulman. Dr. Saadat communicated very well and was patient throughout the entire appointment. He also made sure that all of my questions were answered. I had an appointment with Dr. Rothbloom about two years ago. Initially he seemed pleasant, but over…read morethe course of the visit his manner felt condescending and dismissive. I did not feel listened to or respected, and the overall experience was uncomfortable. During the visit, he suggested bifocal contact lenses. I declined. He then told me that the contact lens prescription he arrived at was "the best he could do" because my eyes were "in between." The contacts were uncomfortable, and I struggled to see clearly both near and far. I remained in that prescription for about a year and a half, assuming the issue was my eyes rather than the fit. Recently, I saw my longtime optometrist, who reviewed that prescription and told me it was not an appropriate fit from the start. He restarted the exam from scratch and fitted me with a completely different type of contact lens. The improvement in comfort and vision was immediate. He also explained that bifocal contacts should not have been suggested to me based on my age and what he observed during the exam, as they were unnecessary. This was one of the most frustrating experiences I've had with an optometrist, and I'm relieved to be back with a provider I trust now that I've moved. I'm sharing this so others feel empowered to seek a second opinion if something doesn't feel right.

This was the worse experience have ever had with a Piedmont physician and their surgical center. On…read more7/25/23 I had a surgery scheduled. My original arrival time was 10 am. Gene with Eye Consultants left me a message on my phone to advise me to arrive @ 10:45. when i arrived and checked in and sat in the waiting room with the other patients i was told they w call me when they are ready. Two hours pass by, and everybody was still in the waiting room. This never happen with appointment I had the same location this pass January. So, I asked my daughter who brought me to ask the receptionist what the problem was. She said all doctors. are working out of one O.R. and they are behinds, and I was patient #3, Two other Patients are ahead of me. The desk never advised the patients of the problem. More patients arrive checked in and taken back to the prep area. About this time, it has been 3 hours in the waiting room. I was very upset, so I walked in the office and asked several patients checked in and was taken directly back to prep area. The receptionist stated other physicians are also doing surgery here out of one O.R.I advised that this office should have told patients about the situation and gave us a choice to stay or rescheduled the surgery. That when she asked me do, I was to reschedule it My response was I've been here for 3 hours no do want me to call Dr Fabrizio staff with a update. She calls and was told he has a difficult case, and it will be 20 more minutes. When I finally went back it went from bad to worse. As they begin to prep me for surgery the nurse/pa advised me they don't have the surgical clearance paperwork and ask me did i have in while i was on the table. No i don't you should have. All this prior to me coming in. Nurse/PA said the paperwork was not in thier system and they can't do the surgery without it. start asking me question about who I saw and where the located .my response nurse Chery Reedus with Piedmont Heart Atlanta location 275 collier rd also check with my PCP Jeffrey Haller. I overheard a side conversion about my case. If i wanted to have it done without the surgical clearance, I will be financially. Response. If anything went wrong. Then Nurse/PA said they will get the anesthesiologist to look over my ECG, she saw no problems. Then the Nurse/PA came to me and said they found the surgical clearance paperwork in another patient file. I had a follow-up appointment with Doctor Fabrizo and i discuss the horrible situation from the day before. I asked what happen why was there such a delay. Working out of one O.R he denied that was not true, running behind he denied that too so i told him that's what your staff told patients. I asked him to explain what happen yesterday. He excused himself from the room without giving me a answer.
