I chose Dr. Hamilton and am delighted that I did. He exemplifies professionalism and his interpersonal skills are outstanding. His competence, caring and compassion are evident in the manner in which he communicates - taking whatever time is necessary to answer every single question I asked before and after the surgery. I never felt rushed nor made to feel like "just another patient". Dr. Hamilton performed both surgeries flawlessly and my vision is perfect. For the first time in over 40 years I no longer need to wear distance glasses - this is simply thrilling! A word, too, about his staff which similarly exudes professionalism in an impeccable, friendly and courteous manner. This environment is created at the point of scheduling appointments and carries through the various eye exams and the pre- and post-op surgical procedures. The business administration component was also efficiently taken care of - it was seamless. All to say, I highly recommend Dr. Hamilton as your ophthalmologist - he is meticulous! Thank you, Dr. Hamilton.

Dr. Khator seems very competent. She is fast as heck (because of patient load - see below) but, I have to say, she listens, and she is very, very clear. Both visits, I felt as though I was in good hands. 2. Be prepared for a two-hour visit. Today it was more like 2 hours 45 minutes. Top tip: the assistants at the front suggested booking an afternoon appointment because in the morning the doc sees urgent (and sometimes complicated) post-operation patients. 3. I was also told that the Woodstock office may be less busy, but . . . it's Woodstock. Apologies if you live there, but that's a 40 minute drive through the Connector to me.

I was called on January 27th to cancel the appointment due to the the doctor not being in the office that day. I was rescheduled in May for another visit due to the doctor being booked up. I didn't cancel the appointment they did. I was the asked if I want to see another doctor; why should I? I have had three eye surgeries for glaucoma and was told by Dr. Sawheney that I should have follow up appointments for eye pressure checks . So I'm put off for three more months due to their scheduling. If they're not concerned I most certainly am. Cheryl Little

If you're looking for a doctor who has something of a bedside manner, or even a modicum of respect…read moreand listening skills, Dr. Brody IS NOT YOUR GUY. The person who referred me had said, "He's a smartass, but he's good". I had hoped to be a candidate for the TRIFOCAL LENS that I'd heard was so transforming. I was not, and I'd still need reading glasses post surgery. My decades old Radial Keratotomy surgery had left scars on my eyes, and that left 2 other LENS options. I opted for the TORIC LENS surgery, and scheduled the surgeries for each eye. I saw 2 other drs. for my 2 followup appts. for logistics reasons, and another with Dr. Brody on July 18th. We had a cruise departing Aug. 18th, and I wanted to know how much my eyes might CONTINUE TO ADJUST post surgery. It was clear, as anticipated, that I would need reading correction, but my distance vision had been really off during our drive there. His answer, "You just had RK surgery". I looked at him blankly, quite confused, and tried again to ask my question. From no more than 2 feet away, he barked, "WHAT?! YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT RK STANDS FOR?!" I answered that it stood for Radial Keratotomy, then looked at my husband and asked, "What is he talking about?" My husband said to Dr. Brody, "You keep saying that she just had RK surgery. She didn't. She had Toric Lens surgery." Without an apology or change in tone, his response (I kid you not), "SHE JUST HAD RK/TORIC LENS SURGERY", a procedure you won't find in any of Woolfson Eye Institute's glossy brochures, and clearly something he made up to cover his gaffe. His demeanor was nothing short of menacing and humiliating. I can easily say that in my 73 years, I have NEVER been treated so disrespectfully and unprofessionally, by anyone in the medical field. That appt. was on July 18th, 2025, and I still wonder if it was all worth it. The absence of cataracts is great. And that is likely all that should have been offered to me. Sometimes, the most accurate thing to say is, "We don't have anything for you, given the scars on your eyes, beyond cataract removal" My floaters are much more pronounced, and oncoming headlights at night are jarring. I wear my new glasses/prescription all of the time, and will go back to my previous optometrist for future needs. While most of the staff may be awesome (including Surgical Coordinators, Jennifer and Amelia), Dr. Brody should be avoided. His ego precedes him.

Many thoughts so I will summarize:…read more PRIMARILY: DO NOT USE THIS PRACTICE!!! The doctors may be good but everything else is a train wreck. At the suggestion of the doctor's surgical coordinator I changed my health insurance, not an easy process, to allow "In Network" care. After a few visits preparing for Cataract surgery I was told I needed a referral from a PCP. Yes, that is common but I discussed with the same surgical coordinator and then it became an issue. More exams...eye measurements, pre op, paperwork, upgraded laser payment, etc...and I had a PCP provide a referral. The original surgery date had been rescheduled due to the insurance issue partly to blame on the surgical coordinator. After confirming a final appointment with the practice prior to surgery the surgical coordinator informed me by phone, the day before, that all that was necessary was to resign the paperwork. On the day of the appointment I arrived at the designated appointment time, checked in, and waited to be called. Thirty five minutes later I asked the front desk the status. At that point they physically took my chart to "the back" to see what was happening. Another ten minutes passed and I asked again as to the status of my appointment to sign papers. A tech arrived and the first words were "Can we reschedule for four days in the future". The surgery was scheduled for nine days from the that day. I informed her that I would be out of town until the day before surgery. I asked to speak to the Practice Manager. I was summoned to her office and asked her what was happening with my appointment. She stated she did not know. I asked how she could not know after four staff members had been involved. She had no explanation. I CANNOT trust my vision to a doctor's practice that does "NOT KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING". Concerned, I immediately asked to cancel the procedure after five visits requiring approximately four hours of my in office time not to mention commute time, insurance time, and waiting time. When I requested a refund of the $2100.00 that I prepaid for the upgraded laser for the procedure. The Practice Manager stated it was not available. I left the office. When I reached my vehicle the surgical coordinator called and asked for me to return. The surgical coordinator claimed the issue that day was due to insurance. Everything was in order per the phone call surgical coordinator the prior day explicitly confirming all insurance was filed, confirming coverage, and stated that signing updated information was all that was needed. I informed the surgical coordinator that I cannot trust the doctor's practice given the MANY issues. Procedure cancelled. DO NOT USE THIS PRACTICE!!!

The initial assessment was very nice, there were only a few people there (went to Dunwoody location), and the doctor that did the assessment was extremely knowledgeable and wonderful at explaining everything. I had to go to the Galleria location because they had the more specialized laser for my horrible prescription. I wasn't really nervous, but excited to finally have the procedure. I was a bit put off at first (not to the point I'd reconsider) by the sheer amount of people there for Lasik-- and ONE doctor. It's definitely a mill. They must make a fortune. Second, I was put off by the doctor. He looked really rough-- like a homicide detective or military captain. Like he's been beat up a lot and doesn't shy away from a good fist fight (LOL). He smiled a lot, to make me feel more comfortable, but he didn't really try to answer my questions and seemed annoyed (some of the things he said to expect were NOT what the doctor who did the assessment said-- he didn't have any interest in hearing it). All said, he did know how to use the laser and corrected my vision just fine. The surgeon is just one of many of the cogs in the wheel, there is no patient-doctor relationship, and they make it very impersonal and sterile to manage expectations (IMO).
