    Shrimp Trio

Good food, nice band, great service! Even though we sat outside, we could still hear the band. Not many family friendly restaurants have a band play on week nights now a days. We enjoyed the food. The sausage and cheese platter was good, but nothing to brag about. My son and I each had the shrimp trio. The rice was a little mushy and my son didn't like the after taste it had. My husband got the Billy Boy. He personally thought the oysters in it were a bit much, but said it tasted good. Our server was very friendly and attentive. All in all, we definitely will be back.

loved my experience. The ambiance is good, the food and beverage options are unique and delicious, and the staff is professional and pays attention to their customers.

Its in the middle of the pandemic and my Uncle passes. So, after a very different n difficult wake I drive my parents to this place. We live in Memphis and was told this was the place in Hernando for good catfish. My dad and I both have severe arthritis. I walk with a cane and my dad uses his electric wheelchair, so we sent mom in to get the info. My mother was visibly upset when she returned to the car. 1st of all, no employee spoke or attempted to recognize her as a customer. 2nd another customer gave mom a menu. 3rd, she came back to the car with the menu and we decided to order after these unfriendly encounters. So, she goes back in. Waits for about 15mins and a waitress/server finally decides to ask if she needed to place an order. As my mom tells her our orders, the lady says, oh we dont have any catfish. Oh we dont have any shrimp. We got mudbugs. Moms, is like excuse me. The ladys says, we only have crawfish. 1st of all its 2020! The disrespect and racism shouldn't be thriving so well, but it is. No worries, I will never pull up again.

My bf and I have lived in the area for a little over a year. We've been wanting to try this place for the longest time and we finally did! We were looking forward to some "Louisiana style food" since we are both originally from Louisiana. As an appetizer we order the boudin balls. You can tell they were frozen before. They weren't balls, they were more like tube shaped. They weren't the best and they weren't absolutely horrible, they were just ok. I wouldn't order them again. So, here comes our food. The jambalaya was spicy and I mean SPICY!!! We both were chugging our water! I had only one bite. The etouffee was gross!!! There was no crawfish nor any chicken, it was straight sauce! Not good at all. The waitress, sat at the bar majority of the time EATING a burger!!! When she brought out our appetizers we asked for plates. Before going to get our plates, she made sure she took a bite of her burger first! When she came to ask if everything was ok and we told her we weren't impressed with our food she stood there, right in front of us and yelled toward the owner saying "you need to come talk to these people!" Very rude and disrespectful!!!! The owner was very nice and apologized. Told us he had been out of town and someone didn't follow his recipe. We were told to come back. We decided before we left, we will wait a month and try it again. Also, before we left we were given a to go bowl of some shrimp and corn chowder...that looks just like the etoufee I had!

I tell you we have drove by this place several times and we finally despised to stop. What a disappointment. First of all the service was terrible. The food has great flavor however the restaurant failed to execute the delivery. The crawfish mash potatoes were served cold. My wife's Shrimp was barely warm and the catfish was piping hot. Fix the service issues and this place would by 4 starts maybe better

The first time we ate here, I thought a majority of the food was pretty good despite one or two bad items. I wanted to come back. The second time, my family sat there for 30 minutes without having any wait staff come to our table...yet they would go to people that came in after us. We decided to leave. After some period of time from my disappointment of my last experience I decided to try takeout. I didn't feel welcome here by the staff. My food took twice as long as I was told on the phone. The gal at the bar didn't say one word to me when she handed me my food or the bill. No friendly demeanor. I felt like I was an inconvenience. This place seems like it wants to be more of a dive bar with live music than a restaurant. Not my cup of tea. Won't be back.

The menu is the perfect size -- not overwhelming -- and everything is priced fairly for the quality you're getting. You can truly tell the food is made fresh. I started with two sides: the crawfish étouffée balls and the Zydeco shrimp. The étouffée balls were made in-house and packed with amazing flavor. The flash-fried shrimp had the perfect amount of crispiness and paired perfectly with that delicious Zydeco sauce they were coated in. After almost getting full from the appetizers alone, I still had to try the catfish Po'Boy -- and wow, that French bread was some of the freshest I've had! The catfish was seasoned perfectly, and the whole sandwich paired great with their homestyle fries. I highly recommend stopping by 2 Crazy Fellas. The food, freshness, and flavors speak for themselves. I already know I'll be back many more times!

We arrived at 5:30 and we were told that it would be about an hour to wait, but were seated in about 25 minutes. Our waitress Sarah was the cutest, sweetest little thing. She was happy to answer all our questions and checked on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. We started with the Crawfish bread and it was AMAZING!!!! It was my favorite part of the whole night. Think of a bread that is perfectly soft, but also has a perfect light crunch on the outside and then cut it in half and top it with a yummy creamy cheesy crawfish dip and pop it in the oven. It was sooooo good! For the main course we tried their special of the day; Blackened Redfish Thibodaux. It is a blackened redfish topped with crispy fried onions and crawfish etouffee served over popcorn rice. My husband devoured the whole thing. He said it had an amazing flavor. We also ordered the 3 piece blackened catfish with fries and hush puppies. The fish had a perfect Cajun seasoning flavor along with the butter it was cooked in and is served with lemon to squeeze on top. It was really tasty as well. Don't skip out on the fries though, because they are just as good as everything else. We loved them too! We ended the night with their homemade pecan praline bread pudding and ice cream. While we did enjoy this dish, it's not the best one we have ever had. The sauce is a little thicker like gravy and we would have preferred more of a true caramel sauce. All in all we both agreed that it was worth the drive from the Memphis area and we will definitely be back!! Give them a try if you are ever near Hernando.

Bacon wrapped beef tenderloin... yes, please! And to top it all off, the infamous bread pudding... do NOT pass it up!!! I cannot wait to go back.

The restaurant is described as Latin/Mexican, though we noticed the kitchen staff didn't appear to be Latin or Hispanic, which stood out to us. One thing that surprised us was that chips and salsa are not complimentary. The menu itself is huge--burgers, quesadillas, bowls, fried fish, wings, and more--so it felt more like a mix of different cuisines than a traditional Mexican spot. We did order the chips and salsa, and honestly, that ended up being the best thing we had. For our entrées, I ordered the fried fish and my husband got the BBQ shrimp quesadilla. His quesadilla was extremely runny and messy, and the only flavor that really came through was the BBQ sauce it was heavily covered in. My fried fish portion was generous, but the flavor was just okay. I ended up eating only about two pieces. I also tried the blood orange margarita, which was decent but tasted like it barely had any alcohol in it. Overall, the service was pleasant, but the food and drinks didn't impress us enough to make us want to return.
