She had specifically mentioned their cookie butter latte, which I believe is a special, but was still available at least when I went. Full disclosure, that could change. Their list of signatures though was also extremely impressive and I was almost tempted to go with one them! So the cookie butter biscoff iced latte had a cookie butter base, biscoff around the cup, house made biscoff whip and cookie crumbles. The latte was $9, about the going rate for a 20 ounce. However, they were extremely generous with the amount of toppings they used. Lots of whip and an unprecedented amount of cookie butter on the cup! Wow. All I can say is that I am normally one to wipe/ lick the cup completely bare, and enjoy every drop. I could not in this case with how generous they were with the cookie butter. Not a bad thing, and had they gone lighter, perhaps the overall flavor of the drink would have been negatively impacted. It was delicious... I may even go as far as to say it was the best biscoff latte I've had. That would be saying something, I've had many! It did drink a bit heavier than many other lattes, but again, that's not really a bad thing. Something to keep in mind depending on personal preference/needs. It was a brightly decorated and fun environment. It's not a big space, so probably not ideal for coffee meetings or things like that, but there is seating and again, it's a nice space. Extremely welcoming and more than happy to offer insight and help. It's a definite must try for latte lovers! Will definitely be back.

It's a cozy, whimsy coffee shop with fun photo ops, specialty tea and coffee. It's nearby Quinnipiac and likely serves a younger demographic. I have seen and followed this shop on Instagram since they had opened and was on my list. The service was great, the ladies helping me was so nice. I tried a seasonal special called Nadine's Guava Matcha Latte--a flavor I haven't seen anywhere else. It had guava pure and guava whip which all looked made in house. The matcha was a good flavor too. The drink was too sweet for me and would likely order less sweet next time. I would like to try one of their coffee drinks next time. If you are in the Hamden area, I definitely recommend giving Latte Soul a try.

The inside has a good amount of seating, with some "community tables" near the front and more comfortable seating toward the middle/back. There are also a couple small tables outside on the front sidewalk, and a couple out on the back patio. This is a great place to meet up for coffee with a friend or bring a laptop and get some work done. The staff are always friendly and the service is quick. I would recommend stopping by!

A new day, a new coffee place to start a morning…read more I've actually been sitting on this review since August 8th, and originally, I was going to wait for another visit before I gave this a proper review. However, the more time I have actually had to sit with my thoughts of it, the more I realized I could just write one now and possibly update it later. So here we are at Cheshire Coffee, a coffee spot that sits oddly enough on the Waterbury side of the town line with Cheshire. Seriously, this place I don't even have to go outside my city limits for, and it is, notably enough in between the same two exits on I-84 as Blackie's is across the line. Much like The Loaded Goat Coffee Company in Naugatuck, this place is very inviting, cozy, with great coffees and excellent customer service. This visit involved an asiago bagel toasted with cream cheese, a beef chimichurri sandwich that the baristas panini-pressed for me, and a Churro Latte. All 3 of these things were good to great. Really, this review is mainly a 4-star review in the way that a place I don't have much of an impression on would get 4 stars. I would need to come back for more things to decide whether or not a 5th star would be warranted. But the interior helps makes a strong case for that star. I was most impressed with the poem on display as I was waiting for my coffee. It's not a detail I've shared yet here on Yelp, but this visit 's prompt me to say this now. So fun fact about me is that once upon a time, I wrote poetry. Late sophomore year of high school and going for a few years after and starting in 2007, I wrote poems any time I felt inspired to do so. I once attended a poetry slam that was held by my high school later in 2007 when I was in the first half of my junior year, and boy was that a great experience! Seeing the poem on display, I am really starting to think about getting back into writing poetry. I just need to find a muse and inspirations. This is honestly a great coffee option if I want to start traveling anywhere eastbound towards Hartford and such. I would totally come back in a situation that allows for it and try some other items.
