It's a small but very comfortable space. I feel like it would never get too crowded here. I tried the Hot Core workout. It's a 30-minute workout in an infrared sauna room. You will SWEAT! there is a TV in the room that plays the video, and you are able to follow it at your own pace. Even if you don't do a certain move, they show, just taking a rest. You still are sweating, so it doesn't feel like you are missing out. By the time I was done, I felt like I had done much more than any other gym class I had ever done. I also love the fact that they do have an open weight room so if you don't feel like getting into the sauna, you can just go lift weights or use any of their other machines they have available. The price is super reasonable compared to other places. $50 a month for unlimited access to one studio of your choice or $80 a month for unlimited access to ANY studio location ANYWHERE! The best part is they are 24/7! You get your own code to be able to access it at any time!!!!! Now I don't have yo rush to try to make a certain class time. The best, and im excited to continue working out here!

We had classes with Lauren and Jaccob. They both are personable and explain the exercises very well. They can help you set goals for yourself and motivate you. Anyways, Jennifer is an amazing personal trainer and motivator. Her personal training sessions are energizing and make you feel like you want to come back (which is like half the battle for me)! She motivates you from within and makes you feel empowered with the decisions that you make. I'm a stay at home mom so it's hard for me to find time to work out and it was so easy to schedule with her. I haven't been able to make her group classes but I'm so eager to join them. I hear they're really fun! You're in really good hands with Jennifer if you decide to get in shape and change your life!

Decided to try out CrossFit Charlotte while visiting Charlotte for the weekend. We knew being…read morevisitors that we would have to pay a drop in fee and sign a waiver. We arrived 25 minutes early. No one greeted us. No coach said hello. I give my own CrossFit Coaches credit. They go out of their way to make visitors feel welcome. These folks weren't the same friendly CrossFit family that I am used to. We have dropped in to other CrossFit gyms when traveling and everyone is always over the top nice and welcoming. The front room looks like a old dr's office. There are kids and cartoons!!? Um....ok. Don't even get me started on the smell of that front room.... Bleh. We stood around for 20 minutes and still nothing. We grabbed our waters and left. I'm sure Charlotte has better CrossFit gyms than this one. Absolutely awful. Also, they appeared not to have scaling options. So beware if you are not able to RX.
