The best workout studio in Pineville! By women, for women. I love everything about stepping into…read morethis space. Whether it's your first workout in ten years or you're in the best shape of your life, several things will ring true once you attend your first class: 1. You will be challenged. The instructors are quick to give alternatives to the workouts based on where you're at in your fitness journey. You'll get what you're willing to put in, so as long as you set your intentions for class and stick to them, you'll leave feeling the moxie glow. 2. You'll be surrounded by a great group of women. When you think of a judgement-free-zone, Moxie will redefine this for you. Whether you're moving your hips in OHM, doing your first downward dog, or learning how to speed skate, you're given a safe space to be yourself, have fun, and learn new ways to move your body. Classes are kept intentionally small to create the best energy/environment. 3. You won't be disappointed! There is a class type for everyone. Dance, fusion, yoga, HIIT/bootcamp, etc. they even have a swiftie sculpt once a month for those of us who want our playlists a little more reputation coded. ;)

Empowered women empowering women! I absolutely love the vibe and mission of this woman-owned gym…read morefor women. It's located in a super cute, historic space right on Pineville's Main Street. Inside, there's pretty exposed brick and a "Babe Cave" glowing pink sign. There's free public parking right behind the building, and Pro Tip: you can actually walk in through the back door (it doesn't have a name on it, so you just have to know - it's like a dark brown/gray color) instead of going all the way around to the front. I've taken a number of different classes here, including full body bootcamp, bootcamp circuit, 808, fusion, yoga, and athletic conditioning. Each one is unique, so you can try a variety of workouts to keep challenging yourself and see what you like best. I enjoy the strength-based workouts since you really do feel so strong. Fusion and 808 are so so fun since you're working out as a group to the rhythm of the music - you feel like you're on a dance team! During the cooldown of certain workouts (usually the bootcamps and other more high intensity classes), the staff pass around cold towels with essential oils - they change up the aromatherapy scents, and they've all smelled and felt amazing. It's such a nice way to end a sweaty class and take a relaxing, rejuvenating moment for yourself. Their trial week of $20 for an unlimited week of classes is such a great deal. Come in, sweat, and feel great about yourself in the company of other women!

I like RISE. It's the perfect balance between boot camp and Crossfit. Extremely friendly and…read moreperfect for all levels. The only thing I didn't like is that it's in the same location/gym/share space for pineville crossfit. So you may or may not be distracted by that. Another con is that the class tends to have a few kids in there making it seem unorganized as you try to work around them. My first love is still MADabolic. I'm ride or die with them...BUT this is a good secondary class if MADabolic classes are full. RISE is the same concept but the intensity and movement planning is a bit lacking. Still I recommend giving it a try!!

After maxing out and emptying your tank in the workout, taking time to stretch, breathe, reflect, show gratitude, and finish with an affirmation makes my morning workouts at LR50 the highlight of my day! 10/10 would recommend.

The catch, loose 20lbs or 5% body fat and get your money back, or put it towards the membership next month which is almost $600 a mth. I signed up anyway motivated. Knowing realistically loosing 20lbs in 6 weeks wasn't healthy. I was going to try hard anyway. I didn't have $500 to really part with to begin with. But that's not even my major disappointment. The disappointment comes from the lack of accountability to the challenge members. I excepted more that to be given and meal plan and told come work out 3 days a week. I could have gotten a meal plan of Pinterest and just worked out myself. I never had one meeting, I had a busy week at work one week. Not one text or call checking for me. Yes I would expect that in a bootcamp Challenge. Not one weekly weigh in or consultation. It was week 5 before they had asked me if I had weighed in. Week 6 was another busy week at work. Not one call. Are you coming? How was the challenge? Coming to finish your last week? Are you considering joining us full time? Nothing. Ended what I think was week 5 and I haven't been back since and there went my $500.

I had a very disappointing experience with this location…read more I specifically requested a 6-month membership. That is exactly what I wanted to purchase, and that is exactly what I believed I was signing up for. I did not ask for a membership that would automatically continue into a 7th, 8th, 9th month, or indefinitely after the initial six months. I trusted the employee who helped me because I clearly asked for a six-month membership. Instead of making sure I understood that the agreement would automatically renew, I was simply handed paperwork at the front desk and shown where to sign. No one specifically explained that after my six months ended, my membership would continue automatically unless I canceled 30 days in advance. When I tried to cancel, I had already stopped attending for months. Instead of trying to find a reasonable solution, I was told I had to pay the outstanding balance before they would process the cancellation. Even after making the payment, I still had to go through the 30-day cancellation process. My biggest disappointment was not the contract itself, but the lack of transparency during the sign-up process and the complete lack of flexibility afterward. Every response I received simply repeated the contract instead of addressing my actual concerns. If you are considering joining this studio, read every page of the agreement carefully and ask specific questions about automatic renewal, billing, and cancellation. Do not assume that a "6-month membership" ends after six months. Because of the way I was treated as a customer throughout this experience, I cannot recommend this studio. I hope they improve their communication and transparency so future customers do not have the same experience.
