Broken cable machine for leg and upper body weights. Lots of staff walked right on by...

Great trainer, but poor equipment maintenance as usual. I have to bring my own attachments to use the cable weights. Usually all the floor space is taken too.

Cancelled a membership at a "big" chain gym to come back here. Glad to be back. Major renovations were done and the space is more open, allows for more lighting, nicer flow from area to area, plenty of disinfectant wipes/paper towel stations, and a positive family atmosphere. There is allot of machines of all kinds. Could feel like a maze, but the more you visit, the easier you know where to go. There is more than just the machine rooms- gym, saunas, pools, etc.. I am not an expert on anything pertaining to gym or fitness, but I do appreciate polite staff, a clean facility, and an impactful community/business model that goes beyond fitness. At the end of the day, despite paying more $ for a family membership, I know I can bring my kids to enjoy what the facility offers them, get a good variety of workouts in, by myself or in the group classes, and that my membership is an investment in the community at large.

This Y is awesome. There are classes of every kind (yoga, barre, Pilates, cardio, weights, Zumba, cycle, and more) for all skill levels. The schedule offers a lot of variety with classes starting at 5 a.m. and going into the evening. The newly-renovated cardio and weight rooms are great. The equipment is well maintained and clean. I can always find an open elliptical or treadmill to use. I like that childcare is available so I can work-out even when my kids are not in school. The little kids' Childwatch gets super busy in the summer. Sometimes there is a line to drop off kids and it may make you late for class. My kids love the indoor and outdoor pools. The outdoor pools offers lots of space for smaller kids. The pool is busier on weekends. If you arrive at pool break (10 mins to the hour), you can almost always get on open lounge chair. The facility is clean and they staff lots of lifeguards for safety.

I love the new renovations in Steam/Sauna rooms and the lockers! . I wish they added speakers and would play some music.

Siskey is not the closest Y for me to get to, but I end up here a lot since the class schedule is so accommodating.

They have 2 showers/bathroom areas and one bathroom to accommodate needs. It's a plus that Its 24 hours to accommodate your schedule. They have plenty of parking in a shared lot. When it comes to the fitness equipment it's not repaired or updated regularly. The TV on the stair master has been out for a year. In addition, some of the ellipticals do not take information like your weight if you desire accurate calorie counts or the levels can not go past a certain point without the machine restarting. They have limited equipment because its smaller. They have one stair master and you frequently have to wait as its a high demand machine during regular hours. There is one upward bike and one row machine, etc. It can get pretty hot. Not sure what is going on with the HVAC, but wish it was cooler on a regular. Typically its well organized and clean. There are three staff as trainers and general staff they appear to be friendly, there is one who is very passive aggressive. Thankful for Ron's help and assistance and Joseph is nice. Notes: There is a gym in Waverly that has a food bar, etc. It has some completion and the price is equivalent to the gym down the street. I have not taken any of the small group classes that they offer and cannot provide feedback on those or working one on one with a trainer. I also have not consumed any beverages or snacks from their honor system.

I signed up for a personal trainer as soon as I joined and have seen some really promising results so far! In 4 months, I lost 5 1/2 inches in my waist, lost 2 inches in my hips, gained an inch in my arms and 1/2 in my legs and chest, and lost almost 10 pounds. I also can lift a lot heavier than when I started. The personal trainers are very friendly and professional as well as all of the staff. There is a good variety of equipment and the gym is always clean. Also, I have been taking a lot of the classes and the instructors have been great. The classes are so much fun! Everyone is just so nice and I always am excited to go there. I look forward to continuing to work with my awesome personal trainer Raphael Paz (he also goes by Raph) and see even more gains.

When my husband joined, they kept stopping him at the front desk saying he's not a member, even though they were taking our money from our bank account. Fast forward, we ended our membership AND paid our final balance. They gave us a receipt that stated his membership would end on March 13th. Now we're in April and they are stating his membership is showing active and they keep sending emails stating he has a past due balance. How? I was told that the person who ended the membership made a mistake and they can request a refund for us but we will NOT get it!! (Yes that's really what he said) WOW! I reached out to Pr1me Movement despite living in Indiana because the advice I was getting from professionals in my area was not helping. The online skype consultation I got was more informative than anything I had heard from the physicians I dealt with in person. The stretches, and change in my movement patterns that were suggested altered the pain I felt within days. I couldn't believe how dramatically and quickly things changed. Chad understood my desire to not sit around and do nothing, and his advice allowed me to get back in the gym while at the same time not injuring myself further. After about a month of incorporating the stretches and various warmup/recovery movements he suggested I felt almost 100%, and the pain I had gotten use to feeling daily was almost entirely gone. Nearly 6 months later and I haven't felt this good in years, my strength has increased in the gym, and I still incorporate the stretching movements, and changes in my movement patterns and couldn't be happier. It was really refreshing to work with a PT who listened to my goals, and not only addressed the current pain, but why I had gotten to that point, and gave me advice on how to stop the root of the problem and prevent further injury or pain. I would highly recommend working with Pr1me Movement, and will definitely be a repeat patient if I have any other injuries/pain in the future.
