Parking was easy in the large strip mall lot. I even noticed another RV tucked off to the side and wondered if they were staying overnight. I'm not in mine today, but it's something to keep in mind for future trips. Inside, it was a quick scan of my membership and straight to the locker room. This is a big facility with plenty of stair steppers and treadmills all lined up facing a wall of televisions. After changing out of street clothes and into workout gear, I stretched a bit and then spent some time on the treadmill watching a Law & Order episode before moving on to curls and lifts. There's enough equipment here to make everything feel easy and comfortable. Back in the locker room, I grabbed a quick shower. The changing cabin was roomy, and the shower had lots of hot water, though the pressure dipped now and then when a toilet flushed. Shelf space was limited for a razor and other things, but still better than some PFs I've used. I wrapped up in the Black Card spa, which was a comfortable place to wind down and check my phone before heading out. I'm not a tanning bed person, and one of these days I really will try the hydrochair. And with an appetite building, it was time for lunch. We had classes with Lauren and Jaccob. They both are personable and explain the exercises very well. They can help you set goals for yourself and motivate you. Most of the equipment seems aged--like it was purchased second-hand. The cardio machines are way too close together, so you can smell the breath (and other things) of the person on the machine next to you. Signs have been posted all over, threatening everybody with "suspension" for this or that, although no one seems to pay much attention to them. I do not regard this as a "friendly" gym at all.

SImply put, working with a personal trainer made all the difference in the works for me. I had tried some of the trainers at the gyms, but they just do not compare to the staff at FT. I joined in January and 5 months later can say that I can see and feel the difference. By no means is this an inexpensive endeavor, but "you get what you pay for" would definitely fit the bill here. I work out 3 times a week with 2 different trainers and could not be more pleased with their knowledge and attention to detail. I still have more to accomplish, but I finally can feel that something is happening!

The staff is super friendly, very knowledgeable and they made exercising fun. I was greeted every time with a smile. The facility is very clean. My personal training sessions were with Kevin and I enjoyed every one of them. Kevin made it interesting and fun. He is very knowledgeable and professinal. I had one group class with Kacey and I enjoyed that too very much. I give Aaron and his staff 5 stars.

They have 2 showers/bathroom areas and one bathroom to accommodate needs. It's a plus that Its 24 hours to accommodate your schedule. They have plenty of parking in a shared lot. When it comes to the fitness equipment it's not repaired or updated regularly. The TV on the stair master has been out for a year. In addition, some of the ellipticals do not take information like your weight if you desire accurate calorie counts or the levels can not go past a certain point without the machine restarting. They have limited equipment because its smaller. They have one stair master and you frequently have to wait as its a high demand machine during regular hours. There is one upward bike and one row machine, etc. It can get pretty hot. Not sure what is going on with the HVAC, but wish it was cooler on a regular. Typically its well organized and clean. There are three staff as trainers and general staff they appear to be friendly, there is one who is very passive aggressive. Thankful for Ron's help and assistance and Joseph is nice. Notes: There is a gym in Waverly that has a food bar, etc. It has some completion and the price is equivalent to the gym down the street. I have not taken any of the small group classes that they offer and cannot provide feedback on those or working one on one with a trainer. I also have not consumed any beverages or snacks from their honor system.
