With coach Matt and fellow members after the world-wide annual Crossfit Open workouts.
Joe L.

I've been at Inversion West for several years now, and I've had a great experience since the start. The coaches and members are welcoming. Programming is pretty good and they offer many classes Mon-Fri throughout the morning & afternoon, and one in the evening at 645pm. Saturdays offer 3 classes in the morning. One class for olympic lifting is held on Thurs and Sunday each. What separates this gym from most other gyms (global & crossfit gyms alike) is their open door hours; members have the option to use their facilities during non-class hours 24-7. This is a huge perk for me, since I may not be able to come in during certain hours or may opt to do something different apart from the day's programming, based on how I feel or if I want to focus on training something specific. The facility is spacious and has two bathrooms, one with a shower. They offer all the equipment you would need for crossfit, Hyrox, or just a bro-sesh workout. Come check it out.

I started CrossFit here over six years ago and haven't left since. It's a great place to work out and make friends. The community is awesome, and you'll definitely get a great workout every time.

Facility and coaching are top notch! Recommend for beginner and experienced athletes!

Great gym, great community, and affordable! Been going to this gym for 6 years and it's been life changing.

Worst experience ever! They rejected me their service! I went in for the free trial work out to see if could commit to a consistent two weeks, since I was interested in purchasing the $30 for two weeks Groupon deal. I've never done Crossfit before because I don't like the "bro" culture associated with it. (Jocks and high school competitive vibe). The class was awkward and spent more time trying to figure out how to do the workouts than actually working out since no one helped. Everyone was unfriendly. After class the instructor told me NOT to sign up for the Groupon deal because... "I wasn't worth it". I stared at him im disbelief in what he had just said and repeated it back to him slowly. The he said, " Yes it's just not convenient for us." I looked at him straight in the eyes and walked away. Way to tell someone they don't belong there.

If you're serious about reaching your fitness goals, I highly recommend checking out FIT Brea.

Having now experienced FIT Brea, I'm definitely kicking myself for not trying this gym out sooner. I've only done their group fitness classes so far, which range from 8-12ish people in size, and I'm looking forward to trying out the personal training sessions when my schedule opens up! Here are a few ways that make FIT Brea a standout: COACHING: The coaches here are the whole package! 1. They all have stellar credentials, with many of them holding advance degrees and multiple certifications. In short, they know their stuff. 2. At the risk of sounding facetious, I just want to make the point that the FIT Brea coaches actually coach. It might sound like a no-brainer, but it hasn't always been my experience that coaches do much more beyond demo-ing the moves and saying "good job" or "keep going" every few minutes, especially in a group class setting. Here, the coaches constantly move throughout the room to offer individualized pointers on form, differentiated movements depending on individual strength and mobility, alternative movements for injuries, and encouragement and motivation to keep pushing so I can get better and better. 3. They are all super patient, encouraging, and welcoming! PROGRAMMING: The programming for the group classes are thoughtfully and methodically designed. From what I can tell so far, the workouts are structured in mesocycles with a progressive overload pattern. This is important because if we do the same thing over and over, our bodies will adapt and we will not make appreciable gains over time. With progressive overload, our bodies are constantly challenged so that we can keep increasing strength and improving hypertrophy. COMMUNITY: The FIT Brea community is so nice and helpful. I felt welcomed by the coaches and the other patrons from day one. Several people who recognized that I was new introduced themselves and helped me find and set up various equipment. Others even put my plates and dumbbells back during transitions. Just last week, the whole class broke out into spontaneous applause and cheer when I pushed out that last rep of bench press, haha! The mutually encouraging environment really underpins the whole vibe and experience here. It's a special thing. MANAGEMENT: One of the things that I didn't realize would make a difference in my overall gym experience is having direct access to management/owner. In my past gym experiences, the questions/concerns I had would typically have to go up a chain of command before I got a response. Since FIT Brea is owner-operated, the patrons can directly talk to Andrew, the owner, who is so nice and provides exceptional customer service. SPACE/EQUIPMEMENT: It's spacious, well-maintained, clean, and an overall pleasant environment to train in. CLASS OFFERINGS: I'm a busy mom who works full-time hours plus daily commute. I'm thankful that classes are offered as early as 5am and as late as 6:30pm so that I can get my training time in! If you are looking for a gym where you can optimize and maximize your fitness goals (whatever they are), look no further because FIT Brea is it! I'm a serial Yelp sleuther and almost never write reviews, but my experience thus far has so far exceeded my expectations that I felt compelled to share this gem of a place with others!

The results speak for themselves. The physical changes are noticeable, but more importantly, the consistency, energy, and overall mindset shift have been just as impactful. What truly sets this location apart is the coaching staff and the community. The coaches strike the perfect balance between motivating, encouraging, and keeping things fun (even during the toughest sets). They push you when you need it, support you when struggling, and genuinely care about your progress. Equally important is the community. What started as a group of people working out together has naturally evolved into real friendships. That kind of environment is rare and important to me. If it were not for the great people here, I would have stuck with my other Fitness membership. Speaking of which, in full transparency - I still have another fitness membership elsewhere. However, I have not touched it in months. If one is looking for a place that delivers results, keeps you engaged, and surrounds you with the right people - this F45 Tustin location is the place to be.

The instructor's were great at walking around and giving you tips on your workouts. The workout was amazing as always, it's really as hard as you decide to push yourself. So you could have an easy workout by doing body weight exercises or you could lift heavy. Easy parking in the lot up front.

The studio is brand new and super clean, I feel fortunate to be a founding member! In addition to Courtney and Mitch, Brian and Manny are awesome! Check it out! You won't regret it :)
