Went here with my kids and they absolutely loved it. The lady at the counter was so nice and made the experience for them enjoyable. She made a panda and koala. The girls were in absolute joy! The flavours they gave are a nice variety; there's something for everyone. They are gelato ice cream which I prefer compared to sorbet for example. I also got a croffle (forgot to take the pic, got too excited and bit into it). I find the croffle to be a little too toasted and crunchy that it kept falling everywhere after each bite. I do like croissants and waffles crunchy but soft inside, not crunchy all around. That's the loss of 1 star. I would love to try this again and will likely ask for the croffle to be less toasty!

Came in after dinner with my kids, and only ordered two croffles with gelato . It's a very cute and clean little desert. Quite inside and the staff is very friendly. The croffles came out with a beautiful presentation, and decorated with fresh berries. Croffles itself have such a crunchy outside and soft inside texture, my kids finished the plate in 2 minutes. Will come back try more items. It's towards to the pricy end.

Was craving some desserts and coffee after a lunch with the family. Enter Croffle House, a spot I haven't yet tried in Times Square. It had a classy minimalist doll house feel when entering, and was promptly greeted by their friendly staff. The food was pricey but good, like a treat yourself, kind of thing. Red bean croffle The combo was 2 croffles + a scoop of ice cream. The croffle was presented beautifully with piped whip cream and a scoop of ice cream on top. The croffle itself was oily and heavy, probably the croissant part of the croffle. Served warm it was decent. I was hoping to get more of a layered feel, as you expect from a French croissant, but it doesn't feel as flaky. Unfortunately, it also didn't have the "crispy outside, fluffy inside' I'd come to expect in a good waffle. Maybe a croffle isn't for me, it was good to try but would not get again. I also wished that their 2 croffle combo came with different flavours of croffles. Dabang Coffee Described to me as a coffee with a Korean twist, a bit sweeter. And sweeter it is. It was good, but in hindsight, would have grabbed just a regular coffee since I was already getting a sweet dessert. Felt like coffee with some condensed milk. This is a good spot to try a croffle, maybe bring a date or have a nice relaxed chat with friends. But from a foods standpoint I don't think I will come back again. If I do, might just grab an ice cream, probably not the rose one as it seems gimmicky.

Any time is croffle time! Head on down to this cafe if you want to try a croffle (croissant + waffle). I have a sweet tooth so I had to try the Banatella - which is a sliced banana croffle topped with vanilla gelato, a few chocolate wafers, Nutella, and condensed milk. They also have croffles that are stuffed with filling like PB&J. This is a small no frills cafe with a clean white interior and simple seating. It was actually one of the few smaller cafes in the area that are open on Tuesdays. The woman who took our order and made our food clearly put a lot of effort and care into the presentation of all dishes. Everything was made fresh and she was meticulous when putting together a tuna salad sandwich which left me quite impressed. I can tell that she takes pride in her work! The cafe has a great sandwich combo deal which (as of 6/18/24) is $12.99 CA. While croffles are the main attraction, this Korean establishment also serves a few Korean savory dishes and Bingsu. In the future I'd love to see explanations on the menu of what is included for each of the specialty croffles.

Small place, not a lot of sittings. Food is reasonable price and taste wise is not bad. Would recommend. Not busy on the day I went and service was ok.

Dropped by this location to get some dessert! They have a few things to pick from aside from the croffles such as their bingsu and Gelato (that come in animal shapes!) The staff were really nice and gave us recommendations for what to try. I went with the cookies n cream croffle and topped it off with a scoop of chocolate ice cream! ($9.99). I would say it is a little bit pricey for what you get but it's pretty similar to other desserts you could get in area. The presentation was very well done and I found it delicious! The croffle was crunchy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The ice cream was sweet but not too sweet! Overall, I loved it and definitely want to go back!

This newly opened croffle dessert spot has recently opened up, and we definitely had to give it a try! They specialize in croffles which are croissant waffles and also have a small selection of gelato. We opted to try two flavours: 1. Mazie Double Croffle This was two croffles paired with a vanilla gelato and some fresh fruits (blueberry and strawberry). We found the croffle crispy and not too thick, which we enjoyed. It didn't need any sauces as the croffle itself was already pretty sweet. We also appreciate the extra scoop of raspberry gelato the staff gave us :) 2. Chocolover Single Croffle This croffle is for chocolate lovers, decorated in a vanilla and chocolate gelato as well as cookie pieces and chocolate chips. It definitely satisfied our chocolate cravings, and the croffle was tasty. Overall, this spot is a cute place for a quick dessert. They have some seating available and the staff were super friendly. @alot.eats

Accidentally stumbled here when i was in times square and i always had a thing / craving for croffles...so i decided to give this a try. Got take out however as i wanted to drop one off to a friend and the take out packaging was well made with the ice cream provided in a separate ice cream cup. I only ate the cheese croffle and man was that delicious. I have a soft spot for sweet and savory and this really hit the spot. It was also still warm when i ate it in the car. Will come back to try other items and dine in!

LOVE this little dessert place. This place is like a little hidden gem amongst all the other restaurants at Times Square. It's nestled right in the corner of the plaza, on the west end. As always, parking is very limited here so be prepared when you come. As soon as you enter this place, you can smell the delicious aroma of their waffles and I'm not exaggerating. The place smells of divine buttery-ness that I could easily live here for. First off. You get to choose between either their croffle or gelato. There's many flavours for each and imo their price points are very fair. They also do combos if you wanna try both. They also serve Korean bingsu and teas and coffee, but their croffles are definitely what you come for. Warm and fluffy on the inside, and crispy on the outside. Honestly whatever flavour you choose it'll taste great. Can't wait to return to try all their different flavours!

If you love croissants and waffles, why not combined the 2. Croffle House is a new Korean dessert spot in the Time Square Plaza that offers not only croffles, but also gelato in the form of a rose or animal. Their croffle can be ordered on its own or with gelato. We had the banatella croffle & gelato, which included slices of banana, vanilla gelato, wafer biscuits and Nutella drizzle. The croffle itself had the texture of a flaky waffle, which when eaten with the gelato and banana was delicious. My girlfriend and I were craving something sweet, then stumbled upon this place. The interior looked very clean and aesthetic, while the music also matched the ambiance. There was only one female worker, but she was very kind and very fast worker as it only took 5+ minutes to bring our food. We ordered the mangoffle and it was by far the best dessert I've tried yet; the waffle was crispy yet soft, the mango ice cream tasted extremely good, and what I assume was condensed milk added a very nice flavour to the dish overall. I rate this 10/10 and would definitely recommend.

I bought a couple of buns as a customer since then and I'm hooked! Bun Appetit is located at Commerce Gate. It's located closer to Highway 7. It's around the corner from Kinton Ramen, which I have been to a handful of times during the pandemic to pick up good eats. I found a parking spot steps away from Bun Appetit on a Wednesday evening at around 6:15 pm and backed in to it. It's easier to find parking when it's a weekday, in the afternoon. Bun Appetit's breads are naturally fermented for 168 hours. I liked that all buns and breads are gut-friendly and low on the glycemic index. I'm always interested in lower sugar options. I have sampled these items: - Baguette - Whole wheat walnut vegan bun - Lychee bun - Raisin earl grey bun - Oreo chocolate delight bun - Matcha pistachio pretzel - Whole wheat German pretzel - Yeast loaf with Nutella They were all delicious. They were soft and airy. My favourites were the whole wheat walnut vegan bun and the Oreo chocolate delight bun (also known as the messy hands bun). The former had whole walnuts that were so crunchy and fresh. The bread was chewy and soft. The messy hands bun used dark chocolate. It was also fluffy and soft. It lived up to its name. I had messy fingers just eating a morsel! It has 9 g of sugar, which is practically nothing being fermented. I liked how unique the flavours were. I loved the smell of the lychee bun. I wish it had lychee pieces in it. Instead, it was wine-infused and that flavour overpowered everything. I loved the yeast loaf with Nutella as a dessert option. I nearly picked up a loaf after this event was over! As a parting snack, I got the truffle mushroom one. It was the last one. I love mushrooms. It was super delicious with truffle oil, enoki mushrooms, spinach, garlic, and melted cheeses on top. The bun was soft and perfect. It was such a gourmet bun. I have since returned to get more buns: - Strawberry beetroot - Chocolate arancia The strawberry beetroot bun was fluffy. I decided to cut it in half. To my surprise and joy, it had whole strawberries in it. Wow and yay! I love fruit, but I wasn't expecting so much of it in this bun. I loved it. It was naturally sweet from the strawberries. The beetroot wasn't noticeable in flavour. I feel it added colour to the triangular bun more than anything. The chocolate arancia was equally as unique slicing it in half. This bun had candied orange bits in it. It tasted so good with the chocolate morsels on top and the subtle chocolate flavour in the bun itself. It was delicious. I need to return for more. I have found the buns of my dreams, which sounds odd and funny. It's all true! I paid with a credit card. You can register your phone number to collect points towards goodies. I'll be back. (185)

The first impression of their coffee menu is: why does it have so many colors in their drinks? And why are there many ingredients which feel like they shouldn't be in coffee? Banana, ube, sesame, etc. Whatsoever, I recall I ordered the sesame and banana latte. Surprisingly, it had an indescribable but well-mixed flavor. One sip was enough to tell me it was better than any specialty drink at Starbucks. Vietnamese cafes have done some crazy and playful experiments on all kinds of toppings for coffee. I will definitely come back .

The ratio of milk to everything else was perfect. But the star of the show was the ube cream! It was so thick, I was able to coat the straw with it and really savor every little bit (even scraped the inside of the cup)! The deep purple color so appetizing. Lastly, I give it the highest Asian compliment "it wasnt too sweet". Highly recommend.

That level of care really comes through in the cup; you can taste the depth and intentionality in every sip. I ordered the vanilla bean iced latte, and it was easily one of the best espresso bases I've had in a while. The shot itself was rich and layered: deep, chocolatey, and nutty striking a really nice balance between bitterness and acidity. It finished with a smooth, almost creamy note that made the whole drink incredibly enjoyable. The only downside is the size-to-price ratio. At around CAD $8.50 for what felt like a 10 oz drink, it's definitely on the pricier side for something that goes down this easily. Still, I'd absolutely come back when I'm in the mood for a more premium coffee experience. (Funny note - the barista and I had a small rant together about how people order "iced cappuccino" and macchiato expecting Starbucks milk sugary drink instead of the "proper" shot with dollop of foam. We anticipated a chaotic parking situation being familiar with the usually busy Times Square plaza but was very easy to find parking this morning. Beautiful space with modern decor. Always happy to get a booth! We got the chicken and waffle - tender, juicy chicken that's perfectly crispy on the outside. These were served with soft warm waffles and a side of syrup. We got a nice flat white. The braised beef breakfast sandwich was so tasty and went great with the Bernaise sauce (like a deconstructed eggs Benny). Would have preferred the mixed greens on the outside of the sandwich as a side salad rather than in the sandwich. It was served with a decent portion of thick cut home fries, bonus they add yams in the mix! Our first time trying a soufflé pancake. Came with 3 on the plate (not pictured as we started eating before I could take a photo lol). The texture takes some getting used to as it's almost too soft (batter-like) but they were perfectly sweet accompanied by a nice thick chocolate sauce and SMALL pieces of fruit (the banana had a nice sweet crunchy sugary glaze). Wouldve given 5 stars but but the pancake couldve been served with larger pieces of fruit or atleast way more of it. It became more of a garnish than a topping as the fruit were so so soooooo tiny!
