My dish came with a side of dirty looks. The dish was alright but I'd like a refund on the dirty looks please lol. The young lady working behind the counter was absolutely wonderful, friendly and superb, but the older lady was the opposite. Leaving a bittersweet taste in my mouth.

    Avocado coconut!!! keto?!?!? Try it!!!

I would like to admit that I originally went here to find some late night sweets. Upon my arrival, I saw an offering that would be a better choice for me. A couple keto offerings, which changed my mind as to my original mission. I ordered the Avocado Coconut drink and was absolutely surprised, as I thought this could go horribly wrong if it tastes too "greenie" if you know what I mean. However the coconut and possibly a hint of citrus, help balance the avocado taste. It's thick and not overly sweet, but helps keep my sweet tooth in control. I will admit though it may not be for everyone, but I would definitely order it again. Now for a drink/smoothie it isn't cheap, but it is like a meal in itself and wish I could find an offering as good near where I live. So enjoy and check out the rest of their desserts as I was tempted to bring something else back to my hotel.

I like to call this the Arab Sugar Shack. Instead of dollops of whipped cream - you have delicious amounts of Ashta - the Middle Eastern version of clotted cream. If that didn't have you convinced, there are an assortment of their specialties drizzled with honey, sprinkled with nuts, and breakfast items offering up zaatar. However, they still have Westernized desserts as well; milkshakes, ice cream, La Rocca cakes, and sundaes. There is something for everything. You can have items made to order with fresh fruit such as their crepes, waffles, juices, and fruit cocktails. You can't go wrong. Also, feel free to bring back something for the family with a slice of cake or even some Arab pastries or macaroons. I haven't tried them yet, but it's nice to see such a variety. I thought I'd mostly be lurking here at nights to get my sugar fix, but they're also open for breakfast. You wouldn't have seen me downing a bowl of ice cream bright and early, but their sweet and savoury breakfast options are great. I had a cheese and spinach crepe and will come back to try the other options. They also serve up a classic breakfast with eggs and toast. The service is impeccable every time I come and it is always clean. This business is family-owned and you feel it. I love how hospitable everyone is and even though I run into someone different each time, they always have a smile. So happy to have a gem like this in Scarborough!

This is a surprising dessert/cocktail cafe that has recently opened up in Scarborough. I have been here a few times now and their fruit cocktails are to die for. They also have crepes, waffles, espressos and much more. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Inviting ambiance. New pâtissierie (Lawrence & Warden). Bought their pistachio/walnut balls; Pistachio/white chocolate balls; Pistachio/crème bar; and Pistachio/coconut bar. $2.99 each! They also serve drinks. Good quality and excellent customer service.

This place is very nice. They have excellent desserts and it's a very nice cafe. I really enjoyed the Nutella milkshake and one other dessert (name I cannot recall) and had a great time. I highly recommended visiting this cafe. The customer service is very friendly and everything is authentic.

Best fruit salad in Toronto! I loved how authentic the place is. So fresh and clean! The owners are great people and very nice! Will definitely come here again!

A unique dessert spot in Scarborough. Smoothies, waffles, crepes and etc. with Lebanese cuisine touch. We ordered a smoothie and waffle that tasted delicious; definitely healthier compared to the usual ones as they use honey, nuts, fruits, and goatcheese-like creme (pictures on the left on top of the smoothie).

Parking can be a bit busy but usually okay. The service both times has been patient and kind to explain the various options. We decided to go with a milk cake with half lotus and half Dubai chocolate. The cake is soaking in milk which gives it a "wet cake" texture. I imagine it may not be everyone's favorite texture but has decent flavor. The crunchy topping contrasts against the soft, moist cake. The lotus has that nice cookie flavor and crunch while the Dubai chocolate with pistachio offers that chocolate and nutty flavor. I prefer the latter but both are good. We also got a matcha strawberry latte to go. Both really nice to look at and to drink. The matcha has good flavor without being overly bitter while the strawberry provides that fruity sweetness to the drink. Overall, it's a pricier experience but I enjoyed it and will be back.

You can choose to get it either soft or crispy. You can also get pistachio or chocolate sauce on the side. - The iced tiramisu latte was excellent! A recent Yelp elite event introduced me to Kanafani Sweets. I returned for its Dubai chocolate bars. Kanafani Sweets is located in a plaza on the northeast corner of Warden Avenue and Lawrence Avenue East. It's in the same plaza as the Potato Bar. I had no problem finding parking. I pulled into a parking spot in front of the store and walked in. The order pickup area was in front of me. I read the signs and the order area was a few steps deeper into the store. I had the nicest woman who cheerfully said hi. She was helpful with answering my question and offering suggestions. She showed me the qashtuta, which was milk cake. She let me know that I could either get a solid flavour, such as Biscoff, or do three different flavours, such as Biscoff, hazelnut, and Dubai chocolate. Wow! My Yelp experience consisted of having knafeh, which I absolutely love. She said that it could be made soft or crispy. I love crispy. She also let me know that I could get either pistachio or chocolate sauce on the side. I went with the former. For the drink, she shared what was popular. The iced tiramisu latte was one of them. I love tiramisu. I was down checking out an iced drink version. I got a buzzer for my order. The knafeh takes roughly ten minutes to make. I sat in a comfy chair near the order area. It was nice to relax after driving for over an hour to get here. I used the washroom. There's an individual stall for women. It was clean, cheerful, and pleasant. I used it again just before I left to run a few errands before heading home. I watched the buzzer light up. I headed to the pickup area. The nice woman had my order ready. She let me know that I got a brownie bite on the house. It was so generous! I thanked her and headed to my table to chow down. The iced tiramisu latte was exceptional. I got a lady finger that I could dip into my drink. The espresso was a good strength with the cocoa. It had milk. You can substitute the espresso for decaf, and the milk for a dairy-free or lactose-free substitute. I didn't bother. It was nicely iced and a good size to wash down everything that I ate. I loved the complimentary brownie bite. The brownie core was delicious. The crispy exterior provided a nice contrast. It was enjoyable to devour! I loved the knafeh. It already had syrup on it. I got syrup on the side, as well as pistachio sauce. I poured the pistachio sauce over the knafeh. So good! The knafeh had cheese inside. It was stretchy and hot. Over time, the cheese lost its stretchy factor as it cooled. It was yummy with the right balance of crispiness and chopped pistachios with the pistachio sauce. The syrup made the knafeh slightly sweet. The sweetness was perfect for my liking. The knafeh was excellent. I have been trying to find a decent place that makes Dubai chocolate bars. Before visiting this store, most places made their bars on their own, but they were too soft. It was as if I looked at the bar and it melted on its own out of fear. I bought a bar of Dubai chocolate Lotus to enjoy. I paid with a credit card and included a tip because staff are so helpful and friendly. This bar was excellent. The crispy filling had Lotus cookie spread in it. The milk chocolate held everything together. I was impressed. I will be back to get the regular bar next. It's such a gem of a Palestinian dessert place. I'll be back. (439)

Visited this cute little Filipino bake shop nestled in shops at don mills…read more They sell Filipino sweet treats and baked goods. Pandesal, cake slices, coffee, cookies, cheesecakes, and a small select option of savoury food as well. For baked goods I walked out with: - Ube cheesecake: it was moist, Ube packed flavour with a hint of creaminess from the cheese. Enjoyed it. And read good reviews about it prior to ordering it so that's why I chose it :) - Ube crinkle cookies: a basic Ube crinkle cookie, not too sweet (which is great) and powdered with sugar on the outside. Ube flavour is mild not too overpowering, moist and fluffy cookie. Would recommend as well! - Spicy chicken empanada- buttery crust, soft and falls apart because the crust is so buttery!! Stuffing was generous, chicken flavourful but I didn't find the inside spicy. One is enough for one sitting. I would like to try other flavours as well. Service - friendly. Fast. Efficient. $$- I would say some of the items are quite pricey for what you get e.g. turon for $5, cake + coffee slice for $10-12, I think that I've found other bakeries to be a little more cost friendly. But assuming because this one is more franchised, Perhaps why prices are higher (?) Would overall recommend this place especially if you'd like to share Filipino sweets culture/food. They do sell cakes and party platters of desserts which is also a bonus. Would recommend to try!
