I ordered the 3-strip meal and the onion. The chicken was made fresh and the pieces were huge. The seasoning was perfect, and the coating was crispy and delicious. The onion was large and perfectly seasoned, too. The sauces for both items were totally yummy. My companions got a chicken sandwich and fries. The portions were generous and the flavor was satisfying, with large pieces of chicken. The prices are extremely reasonable. We were served quickly. I was sad to discover they will be closing soon. I was in the area and saw this restaurant out of the corner of my eye, and since there definitely aren't enough new chicken restaurants (said sarcastically and with a side eye), I whipped the car into the parking lot and headed inside. There was a flyer on the counter advertising their chicken slider for $3.99. The slider features a boneless chicken breast served on a brioche bun with Crimson Sauce, house-made slaw, and pickles and choice of spice level. I ordered it with mild spice. The slider looked amazing. Seriously, take a look at my photos. I couldn't wait to have a bite so I ate it right there in the parking lot. The taste of the slider was disappointing. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was hot and juicy, but the flavor just wasn't there. The seasoning was lacking. The bun also crumbled each time I took a bite which wasn't ideal since I had to keep rearranging it with each time. Other reviews say the taste is great so give them a try. I was surprised by Crimson Coward in a very good way. In Dearborn, we've had an explosion of fried chicken places popping up. Some have turned out great, others less so. A bit of me thought Crimson Coward might just be another of the so-so places, but it turns out to be one of the standouts. And a bit more reasonable on chicken tender prices than some of the others. I decide to split an order of chicken tenders on my visit because I wasn't overly hungry and I thought it best to see how the chicken was on its own before trying it in sandwich. I don't know if I'll opt for a sandwich in future because the tenders are that good on their own. I had medium heat which was just right. The tenders were flavorful, the chicken was moist, the spice was in the coating vs a messy sauce. The dipping sauce was excellent and flavorful too. Service was friendly and helpful. First time eating here. First impression? Apparently there are five levels of "hot". I wasn't asked which level I wanted. I ordered two chicken strip meals. The cashier asked if I wanted pickles. I said yes. When we got home, in the bag there were three boxes. I just assumed they misunderstood and gave me three orders. The reason is because it was ridiculously expensive. I gave one box to my son, and one to my wife. That left one for me. When my wife opened her box, it was two pounds of deep fried pickles! So two tender dinners and some pickles were $42... In the boxes with the chicken were a piece of soggy texas toast with ten pickle slices on top. That's what I thought he meant when he asked if I wanted pickles. I am surprised by how much I liked it. It is a simple place that doesn't try to offer a large variety. It serves spicy chicken tenders and wings. There is burger on the menu. The meat is juicy, tender and the seasoning and sauce tasted great. Sides cost extra which isn't so great. I hate the name. But i love the chicken. read more

My first order from here looked like this my second and third order was much smaller. The pieces are bigger at night verses going for lunch I notice. Either way this chicken sandwich is delicious and better than most chicken sandwiches I've had. I suggest whatever sandwich you get if you are not eating it right away ask for everything on the side and thank me later! Oh get them fries they are outstanding when piping hot. I have not eaten anything else oh and the mild level has a decent amount of heat if you're a light weight like me. They are located on ford road in Dearborn Heights right in front of Targets and next door to chipotle and I forgot what cell phone place is there also. There's a fair balance between criticism for food quality and criticism for overall experience. I will rate both. In terms of food quality : 4 Stars The food was deliciously cooked, good sauce, soft buttery buns. Crispy batter. The whole Nashville deal. I take off a point for their spiciness because I ordered my burger as hot and it wasn't hot. I think they just spray dusted my sandwich really quick and I didn't get spice or that kick I was looking for. But it tasted good In terms of service: 2 stars We came in and it wasn't busy at all. Just maybe 6 tables waiting for their food. There was no line at the cashier so we got our orders taken fast. The cashier told us 25 minutes wait. I am not exaggerating when I say we waited 1 hour and 5 minutes for fried chicken sandwich and three piece tenders. What made it worse was that the staff or manager kept giving others their orders ahead of everyone else waiting - maybe friends or family or people he knew. As a customer, waiting that long is already irritating enough, but to see others get food before is not professional at all. And for what? It's fried chicken not something that should take an hour. I didn't want to be that person who gave them 1 star for this , because it was their soft opening so I'll give them some breathing room. But my recommendation to management: find out what's your bottleneck that's holding up your orders from coming out faster. No one should ever wait that long. Overall: 3 stars I try to be as fair as possible. Food is very good. Staff working in kitchen and cashier are nice. It was opening for them. But management may need some updates to their process time and no cutting tickets when people are waiting that long. I just tried the crimson coward chicken sandwich and fries. One of the best Nashville Hot chicken sandwiches that I've ever had. The chicken was twice the size of the bun, very juicy and has a nice kick. Fries were hot and very crispy with just the right amount of spice. I had to say with Crimson Coward being next to my house I tend to like this place more than Daves Hot Chicken. This chicken is way hotter than Dave's hot chicken. It taste in Daves Hot Chicken. Grabbed carry out today for lunch for the family. The chicken sandwich was juicy and perfectly seasoned. We ordered medium spice level which had a great kick especially when dipping it in their special sauce. Their special sauce is like the Raising Canes sauce and very similar to the Dave's hot chicken sauce too but with a kick! We also ordered tenders and fries which were great too but the star of the show was the Crimson Onion. If you like the bloomin' onion at Outback, you will love this one! The chicken is cut and made to order, however why go through the trouble when you're frying in bad oil. Very pricey for the food you get. Service twice when I went was pretty rough.
