Before getting to the food, the staff here is phenomenal. We came on a busy night (maybe it's always busy?), but the staff is like a well-oiled machine. I've watched enough Top Chef Restaurant Wars to be an Expert at the cook to deliver flow. This team is ON IT. Watching them go from ordering, prep, to delivery is a joy when sitting at the counter. Now, to the amazing food. We had to order our food to go. Unfortunately, they are not dog friendly (no outdoor seating), despite Yelp's review. We got the regular burger, as prepped. Obviously I heard about this place on Insta and needed to see what all of the hype was about. Honestly, I rarely rush over to a place this new but this is the second time this month I headed over to try a new business and it was worth it! I am not sure the best hour to come but it was the weekend, so we were lucky to get a seat, the place was packed. It is super adorable in here, love the diner vibe. My child especially love, love, loved the free place video game, so cute and such a good idea. It really added to the whole feel and experience! The people working here could not have been nicer, honestly. Surprised to hear a review that said otherwise. I love that this place has so many workers and created job opportunities in the area. Everyone was super welcoming and pleasant. We had three smash burgers. Two were ordered as listed. It was delicious. The beef tasted good quality. I loved their toppings, the special sauce tasted like a garlic aioli?! The other was no pickles, no onions, no special sauce, add bacon, add lettuce, add tomato, add BBQ sauce. That was my child's and she loved it. We also ordered regular and sweet potato fries. The fries tasted so hot, fresh, and crispy. I loved the saltiness of the regular fries. They were perfect and we could not stop eating them. My husband was super excited that there was not an upcharge for sweet potato fries, and they had a nice seasoning to them. I could not leave without trying their sundaes. They were a bit small and not filled to the top for the price but they were absolutely delicious. We had the Biscoff crunch with vanilla ice cream and the Dubai with chocolate ice cream. They were both delightful and I could not tell you which one was better, go with two or more people and order both! This place is a bit pricey. The fry portion and sundae portion is a bit small for what you get, but the pricing issue right now is complicated. Heard about this place and it had awesome Yelp reviews so I went to check it out with my wife around 5 pm. It was mobbed and so we went somewhere else for dinner. I went back around 2 pm a couple weeks later, and boy am I glad I did. Had the smash burger and the spicy chicken sandwich. Also ordered a regular and seasoned French fries. Everything was delicious and totally lived up to the hype. The only beef I would have is that it is pricey, the above items cost 38 dollars; but it was really good. It comes with pickles, onions, cheese and special sauce, and yes, you can add a patty if you choose, it already comes with two. Brined for flavor and so tender with hand breaded crispiness. That's what I'm talkin' about! No Mid chicken tenders here! Next up, the falafel smash, with cucumbers, tomato, feta yogurt dressing, pickled onions and lettuce. This was dressed to perfection with the falafel being crispy with an excellent flavor profile. Sides included the sweet potato fries, so good and the regular fries with a nice light seasoning. I love flavor and every item hit!! We had to have a sundae for dessert and they have lots to choose from. They also offer a special sundae "of the week." Very cool and tasty. Don't be deterred by the line, the crowd creates a great little community of eaters and it's goes pretty fast. The cashier was friendly and allowed me time to figure out what exactly I want. The place was neat and tidy just the way we like it. Ok. The line was LONG . I saw alot of people come and leave but it moved pretty quickly. They don't have online ordering yet but I hope it comes soon. That said, the food was good. The smash burger, which is the staple is delicious. I wish they had some kind of sauces that don't have mayo but that's an aside. The short rib fries were good ( take aways are challenging ) . Ok I'm giving it 5 stars. I have heard this place is fantastic. Had to try it. We went last night and tried burger, sweet potato fries, short rib fries and chicken tenders. The burger was out of this world. The chicken tenders, wow! The ranch and honey mustard, tasted homemade and were spectacular! The fries were good. I thought the short rib fries were spicy. We got the jalapenos on the side. The queso (to me) was too spicy. Totally persona,l though. Family loved them. You have to go here!!! Only a handful of tables. But soooooo worth it!!!!! We saw how swamped this place is every day into the night and thought we should try it. We ordered 2 burgers and 2 sweet potato fries. I have to say that I don't know what all the fuss is about. Our burgers were overcooked and underwhelming. The sauce that was slathered on them was very thick. We did our best to remove the sauce.The fries were good, but nothing special. Me and my partner tried Buns and Patties today. We got a smash burger, a lil smash, chicken tenders, fries with the house seasoning, and a hot fudge sundae that we subbed the peanuts for Oreos (we wanted to try a little of everything). With our order, there were some items we would definitely be back for and some that were not our favorite. The smash burgers were typical smash burgers. Neither my partner nor I love a smash burger and this was nothing new. The bun was nicely toasted and also soft. The pickles were not my favorite on the burger. They were bread and butter pickles, which added a sweetness to the burger that I did not love. The chicken tenders were good quality, but we didn't love the seasonings that they used for them. We got both ranch and honey mustard with the chicken tenders. Both sauces seemed like they were made from scratch. I liked the ranch and ended up dipping fries in it as well. For the things that we would definitely make a trip back for, we really enjoyed the fries and the sundae. The fries were crispy and well seasoned. I'd like to try the sweet potato fries with the house seasoning in the future. I think the seasoning would go well on a sweet potato fry. The sundae was really yummy. This was delicious and it was clearly made with care. The toppings were put on in a way that you could have some in all of the sundae. The service was also great! Everyone was really nice and seemed to be having a good time. The actual space was nice. It combined an old fashion burger joint with a more modern feel. I was really excited to see a new place and having a hamburgers close is great. I really enjoyed the burger and the fries but I'll get the plain fries next time. The only things that I didn't enjoy was that it's hard to figure out where the line is to order because everyone is just standing around. This is a great smash burger joint! The menu is simple with delicious options sure to please nearly everyone. I opted for the falafel burger to keep it vegetarian, but anyone preferring a vegan diet will be left out here. My husband had the smash burger. My kids had the grilled cheese and subbed out the tomato soup for fries. They each came home with half a sandwich, so we will have them split a grilled cheese next time and order extra fries. My falafel burger was so flavorful with the crisp veggies and pickled red onion, brought together with a creamy feta yogurt. I'm probably going to have dreams about that burger. First timer here! In order two smash burgers one with jalapeños and one without. Spicy crispy chicken, fries with house seasoning and loaded brisket fries. The smash burger overall was good expect for the fact the sauce was a bit sweet. The meat lace was excellent! I tasted the patty by itself, lacked a bit of saltiness. Next time I would opt out the sauce. Spicy crispy chicken may have been better than the burger. Spice level was perfect, however, the pickle on the sandwich was too sweet for me. They must use sugar in their brine. Personally, do not like sweet pickles. The breading of the chicken is perfect. Fries with house seasoning I was a bit disappointed. The seasoning tasted very sweet again, texture was soggy. Loaded fried with brisket is okay. Fries were soggy, however the brisket was cooked perfectly. Service is excellent. Their very friendly people there, there's bit of a wait fyi. Ambiance is awesome. They have a little arcade set up while you wait for your food and about 10 tables to sit down and stools to sit near the kitchen. Very clean too. Overall I would go back and recommend this to friend. I work for Home & Door Products up the street, and my coworkers and I eat lunch out often -- it's official, we have now tried everything on the menu! Every single thing has been a 10/10. I did not like the sauce and the raw onion. I thought it totally dominated the flavor. I could barely taste anything but and it was not a pleasant flavor. If I ever went back I'd hold the sauce. I thought the fries were awful. Strange seasoning. I couldn't identify it. Like that fake seasoning that goes on popcorn to make it sweet and savory. It was weird. And they cooled down and got soggy almost immediately. And for this overpowering seasoning they were under salted. Bland. Sweet and bland and soggy. The best thing was they were 4$ which is cheap in this day and age. We also got the short rib fries. The short rib was plentiful and cooked perfectly but again this was so incredibly under seasoned. The cheese sauce was almost like unseasoned beschemel. 100% flavorless. Gross actually And the picked vegetables had no tang whatsoever. It was like they boiled jalapeño for a few seconds to remove both the flavor and heat. And it was 17$. Just bad all around. My son liked the chicken tenders. Heavy pickle brine. Also underseasoned. The service was nice. Very nice. They were packed for a Sunday at 2 PM. So obviously people like it. I'm just pointing out things I didn't. Lots of great burgers in the area. Really cute place! There was a huge line, which is to be expected for a new burger joint. I was very excited that they had gluten free buns. I got a smash burger with a gluten free bun and no cheese and my husband got a regular smash burger. We also each got some fries. I would say the overall taste of the burger was good but lacking flavor a bit. Maybe just needed some extra sauce or something. Fries were good!
