I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this Verizon location today…read more After spending hours on the phone with Verizon Customer Service, I was specifically sent to this store for an 11:00 a.m. appointment to get help with my phone. I arrived with my 2-year-old and was met by the store manager, Jamal, who told me, "All I can do is sell you a new phone." I then had to get back on the phone with Verizon and spend another 50 minutes on hold while receiving no assistance from Jamal. What made the experience even more frustrating was watching him enthusiastically help new customers with purchases and activations. At one point, he even contacted Verizon Support and asked them to "expedite" assistance for a new customer while I continued to sit there waiting with a hungry, crying 2-year-old. When I expressed my frustration to the Verizon representative I was speaking with, Jamal became extremely unprofessional and told me I could "throw my tantrum outside." That comment was completely unnecessary and unacceptable, especially coming from a store manager. Another customer in the store actually approached me while I was crying to offer sympathy and acknowledge how frustrating the situation must have been. The fact that another customer showed more empathy than the store manager says a lot about this experience. I completely understand that it was not Jamal's fault that Verizon Customer Service sent me to his store. However, there is a significant difference between not being able to solve a problem and being unwilling to show basic empathy or make an effort to help. As a loyal Verizon customer, I left feeling like customers who were generating a new sale were valued, while someone simply needing support was an inconvenience. I hope Verizon takes this feedback seriously. Customer service should extend beyond the customers who are making a purchase that day.

T-Mobile turned out to be the best deal since we could switch and then turn in our old (thank the gods for our old phone hoard) phones for a credit on our account and get the phones with the new plan for free. Sounded good and so we went with it. Yesterday, the new phones got here and we went to the store to do the trade-in and get the screen protectors put on (putting on screen protectors is the bane of our existence). Nick and Lucas (I believe Lucas was the name) were great, very helpful and friendly. Nick went above and beyond, being very dedicated with putting the screen protectors on, making sure there were no-to-minimal-bubbles, and even getting us packing material so we could send off the trade-in phones (apparently we need to do that ourselves and the store can't take care of that, no big, we just didn't know). If you're in the market for a phone or phone accessory, I'd recommend checking out this T-Mobile location due to how well we were treated earlier.

I went to CPR to get my Mac's screen replaced after (I thought) extensively vetting it and deciding…read morethat it was my best local option. The pros: The staff is all incredibly nice! Seriously a great customer service experience. But, well, I didn't go to CPR to hang out with nice people, I went to get my screen replaced. When I first came in, I was quoted a specific turnaround time, and I decided to stick with CPR because, even though that turnaround time wasn't ideal, it was workable. Given that the broken device was my Mac, which I use for work as a freelancer, every day I had to wait for the repair cost me money, but I understand that repairs take time. Unfortunately, the promised date came and went, and my device wasn't fixed. I gave it an extra two days, then checked in again--and my device still wasn't fixed. When it was finally ready, I dropped everything to pick it up, then drove home to test it...and it wouldn't work. It turned out that they had messed up while reassembling it, and I had to take it back in to fix their mistake--but the tech was heading out for the day, so I had to wait until the tech came back in the next day. Another day of lost work. On top of that, due to CPR Loveland's location in Centerra, there's an additional tax on all purchases that really adds up on costly repairs like, say, a Mac screen repair. In fairness, this is noted on a small flyer in the store, but I would definitely have appreciated it if it had been noted during my initial quote, because it really adds up! In sum: Absolutely nothing against the folks at CPR personally. But if you're looking for timely, effective, affordable work from a store with clear communication, this might not be the place for you.

However, when I told them to test the device, it failed to charge twice. The manager had to come in and show that the device could charge. One day later, I try to plug it into the dock and nothing. Recently, we experienced a horrible fraud episode which was devastating! I contacted All-in-One and they completed diagnostics on our computer system. They are professional, ultra knowledgeable (about all things computer), and very understanding. They taught us so much about security. They go above and beyond what computer services an individual gets at one of the local box stores. Thank you so much for your help and giving us peace of mind. We will ALWAYS use your services. Before I did that, I checked Yelp and found this listing for Estes Park. I messaged to see if I might be able to get the protector, even though the company sounded as if it fixed broken things rather than do something like this. I got a very fast response from the owner...yes, he could do the work and even had the protector in stock. He was very pleasant, and made time for me right away. (If you've ever been to an Apple Store, you know what a change this was.) The job was done excellently and at a much lower price than Apple charges, and I didn't have to both buy the protector and pay for the application...it was all for the one price. (Note to owner, you could really charge more for this service.) I am very happy with my interaction with this company, and will use it for any future work that they do that I need. Very highly recommended!
