The situation made me feel uncomfortable and honestly felt discriminatory. I don't know if it was because I am Hispanic, but the way I was treated was not acceptable. My husband has had a Verizon business line for over 20 years, and we have been loyal customers for a long time. He retrieved the phone from the back and handed it to me in the box without switching out the SIM card or turning on the phone, which they normally do. He did not offer a bag or anything after I had just purchased a phone. I was very upset at this point. I had to ask him to switch the SIM card, and after he did, he just handed me the phone without offering any further assistance. I have never experienced such poor service. After about 10 minutes of trying to transfer my files on my own, I had to call over someone else to help me. I left the store feeling extremely angry and disappointed. The entire experience was ridiculous; I am paying money and expect to be treated better. We have been customers for over 15 years so this is not acceptable.
