Family member bought a new RV from Crestview Buda about 6 months ago. Unit had immediate brake issues before getting off their lot. On first trip after first repair, unit had solar charging issues. Went back to Crestview Buda. Unit was then sent to Crestview Georgetown for their solar "expertise". Unit still there. Phone calls result in more delays. After 6 months, family member still doesn't have the RV and Crestview has no idea when it will be ready after promising it wil be ready but its not. read more

After working with Tina a great sales person in a deal for my wife who is an Active Duty Army Service member for an RV and spending the time to show up after she had been in discussion with my wife and knowing that I would be coming with a Military Power of Attorney since she is currently away from home the sales manager states that "no lenders accept a military power of attorney. They don't accept it in order to protect military members" and stated that he had been in this industry for x amount of years and that only a select few military credit unions would accept a power of attorney for an RV loan. If you serve, have served, have family that serves or respect those that have served DO NOT GIVE CRESTVIEW YOUR BUSINESS! Support business that support military members and their families. Update.... We purchased a used travel trailer from Crestview RV in 2013, was happy, but they have really changed since then! Now 10 years later my wife and I tried to purchase a new medium size trailer (to downsize from both a large and a small trailer we presently own) we saw at the February Austin RV show. It took three months to recieve the new trailer, after we made a $500 deposit, to lock in the show sale price. (We do understand it takes quite some time to recieve new units with supply chain and demand) During that time our sales guy left for a better job offer, and we never heard back from Crestview. Had to follow-up by phone and later in person after several months. The unit was still not in, we seemed forgotten. Meanwhile paying interest on our $500 deposit. We were originally told the unit would arrive in a few weeks..but it actually took a few months. When I asked management to refund the $500 Deposit to avoid paying interest and still honor the show sale price, he said no. Also no to refunding the interest on the deposit. That said, what really shocked us, was the low trade in offer values they gave us on both our trailers at the RV show, site unseen. Our trailers NADA retail values were double what they offered on both the trailers wholesale! Again we didn't expect to recieve the average retail in trade ($31K) bit we didn't expect to be offered $16K, and be made to feel lucky they would come up to $18K! We felt shocked and insulted! Especially since our trailers are in excellent condition/ covered/and protected from the elements/sun. I've have purchased many vehicles/ RV's & boats and all always kept in excellent condition. So we planned to show them our trades in person once the new unit was delivered. Today, when that time arrived, they said no matter how great condition our trades were in, the would NOT offer us more for our trades, under any circumstances. Told us we were locked in from what we signed at the show, and that we should just walk away as we weren't getting more money and they were NOT willing to negotiate! The basic message we kept receiving from them was: 1. Take the offers we are giving, that's all your getting 2. We won't negotiate 3. Walk away, you haven't been happy with our low offers overall 4. Once you refund your $500, we raise the price of the trailer and can sell it for more 5. We don't make money on new RV sales, so we sell used units at low trade in values to maximize our profits That's their main concern..maximizing profits at the clients expense! So we walked away and won't be back and we will spread the word! We are 20+ yr RV camping veterans! 800+ FICO score clients, ready to buy if anyone reading thos wants to negotiate a win-win deal fore everyone involved. We aren't willing to give any of our hard earned money to a company who is willing to put their profits over customer service and loyalty to a repeat customer! PS Crestview: The US is headed into a recession and interest rates are currently 10% to 12% on an RV loan! Sales will continue to slow, and burning bridges/and turning great clients away, is not how you stay in business during a bad economy. PLEASE LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ON HERE. IVE READ MOST OF THEM AND ITS LEGIT WHAT I'VE EXPERIENCED!!!!!! Making the sale is priority but once you sign, the service is over. We bought our RV new in April 2022. After we signed everything, we did the walkthrough. They broke the desk when closing the slides and broke one of the fender skirts that was decoration. All of this before our walkthrough! They promised they would send someone to our location to fix it since we only live 3-5miles away. After 6 months of back and forth phone calls and texts, they finally came one time only because they wanted to fix a recall, the guy came with the wrong parts and keeps promising he will come fix it. He fixed the recall and never came back to fix our desk or fender skirt. Every time they promise to come, My wife or I took off work those days and they never show up. It is hopeless that they won't keep their word. All we want is to be able to use that desk! I even asked if they could just give me the parts and I'll fix it myself and still no answer. Every time I talk to them or they send someone I get the same excuse: "We don't have that part, we have to order it" So where are the parts going since you supposedly order it every month I call? The last man they sent in December took pictures and promised to come back in a month once "the part arrives", I ain't heard anything!!! It has been 2.5yrs! And they still haven't fixed it. This is the most absurd customer service I have ever experienced. I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO THOSE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ON GOOGLE!!! I will only change this to a 5 star if they compensate me for the lost days at work and the stress they caused me! I am very disappointed. This is for the Georgetown, TX location. KAREN ALERT! My wife and I parked in front of the rocks next to their front door. I know it wasn't a parking space, but I was simply running in to ask how do we get through their gates so we could look at their RVs. I also wasn't blocking any spaces or other vehicles. A salesman said he would take us on a golf cart and pointed at my jeep, stating he would pick us up there. With that being said, I didn't think it was an issue leaving my vehicle there. After waiting for about five minutes, he picked us up, and as we were about a hundred feet away, this jack wagon came out and said I needed to move my truck since the parking space next to it was reserved for veterans. First off, he didn't know if I was or wasn't a veteran. Secondly, I wasn't blocking the veteran space or front door, and third, there wasn't but one or two other shoppers there, probably because I noticed they have a two-star rating on the internet. I don't have an issue with the salesman or anyone else there, just the male Karen, that couldn't keep his trap shut regarding such a minor thing. Since that weirdo wanted me to move my truck, we did, right out of the parking lot. Later that day, we bought a motor home from Gibbs RV in Waco. I wish I felt really positive about our buying experience. Its difficult especially when making a large purchase to feel you got what you paid for and weren't "levied into items that really weren't necessary". We did our homework but there are so many makes and models and of coarse they can be ordered with different modifications, depending on the dealer and their customers. It's really nearly impossible and definitely impractical to know all the ins and outs. We felt for the product and the upgrades we got a fair price. Some positives-Kenny in sales knew the details of the unit, possibly better than a couple of other salesmen that misinformed us. They did bring the sales manager in who essentially reinforced that the price was what was displayed. Last year 2017 there were so many "perks if you bought at the show" -this year the 5th wheel hitch and installaion was 1\2 price. We did appreciate that. The initial financial guy Scotty-seemed pretty matter of fact and real. We decided to finance 75% of it initially. I applied and we had pre-approval. Crestview still has to be involved...not that I minded I just never understood. So we had to complete an application on their website-which I attempted to do, several times in fact to no avail. Finally had to do it by phone. I had obtained insurance for the RV thru our auto carrier. First indication that signing off was not going to be the experience I hoped for was when the finance guy(a new one) who was going thru the paperwork with us insisted I had no coverage for the RV even though when I spoke with our insurance company they said they had in fact spoken with Crestview. Being the stickler I am with customer service...that the customer is always right...that didnt set well, then he presented the loan document with different info than what I had discussed with my bank, he did call the bank immediately and using the terms I requested I was able to get another 0.5% reduction in interest. The hubster also insisted we get the overpriced extended warranty. I will say from the homework I completed after the fact that at least it appears we got a good policy with good coverage. Obviously if you use it you love it and if you lose it you hate it and that's just the way it is. I'm really hopeful that we will love traveling a little bit in this fifth wheel and that in a year or two we are ready to go full-time whatever that looks like for us. The moral of the story is Crestview is a good place and in my opinion whenever someone purchases a big ticket item it's their responsibility to do their homework and make a decision whether they're going to buy into what is offered or push forward and start over again. We will continue to have our vehicle serviced at Crestview anhopefully end up with a mutually respectful relationship where after you make your first purchase you trust a little more. read more

After fighting for months over back ordered parts (which they actually had in the shop since December), we got everything fixed and the RV back in April 2023. When hooking up water on our first trip, I realized that they had not put plumbers tape on the sink fittings after replacing the faucet. Had about a gallon of water in the cabinet and leaking out of the side of the camper. They're all good until you drive it off the lot, then it's like pulling teeth to get anything fixed correctly. read more

5 Star Rating for the new guy working here. He answered all my questions and made sure I was able to come in for a state inspection. It was only my second time driving my travel trailer and ending up going the wrong way - he stayed on the phone with me the whole time and offered to come out and help me back up my rv after his shift. I felt I was being brushed off from the beginning but continued the sale because I really wanted this particular motorhome. Then we were involved in a accident that was not our fault, and we brought back the motorhome to be repaired at the shop where we bought it. This has been an absolute nightmare. From trying to get a return call, no return emails to the horrible, horrible service trying to get this fixed. It was dropped off in December and we just got it back with an estimate. The financing was a rough process, their team did not make it easy...we almost pulled out and we're willing to lose our deposit because we did not have a good experience working with them. Our RV had problems the minute we brought it home, which for RVs is typical but these were problems that should have been caught by Crestview before selling. It was very obvious that the company did not do any type of inspections to make sure things were in working order. I had to special order a new water heater control panel the second day we owned the RV. After a few months of ownership, we needed to take it back into the service department. There was a cosmetic issue that we knew of at the time of purchase but agreed that Crestview Service would fix it when they got parts in. We added some other things to the list of issues for service to look into so we knew that would alter the timeframe that our RV was in service....however we were not prepared for it to take 4 months! When I called for status updates I was either given the run around because they were waiting on more parts or just not have voicemails returned at all. When we finally received our RV back, 4 out of the 5 problems were not fixed. It was a total waste of time because we just had to take it somewhere else. Buying an RV is challenging already but this place is one of the absolute worst I've encountered. There are better out there, please look anywhere else! read more

Buyers beware!!!!! After many years of dreaming to own a 5th wheel and our honeymoon canceled (COVID) , my husband and I finally purchased One from Crestview. I wish we hadn't. Being new to 5th wheels, I trusted the dealership to educate us on all the necessary things we need to know to keep us safe. We walked out of the office, with the doors locked directly behind us, to "hook up" on our own for the first time. I was concerned about the fact that the dealership was not there to assist us for the first time. But that wasn't even the issue! Turns out our hitch was not appropriate to haul our new 5th wheel. Unknowingly we took off . When stopping at the First shop sign. This created a honorific slam in the truck bed both in stopping and pulling away. It felt as if the entire 39 foot trailer was going to continue thru the truck. I was terrified. We stopped at a safe location to call the dealership for help. No answer. Our sales person did answer, and was confused how we could possibly leave the lot without our hitch being inspected. After exhausting all hope for Crestview to help, We had to wait for a friend to travel 2 hours to install and entire different hitch. We arrived home about 1:30 in the morning. We arrived today, February 3rd, to purchase an RV. I picked up a cashier's check ready to make a purchase. We get to the dealership and ask to look at the RV before signing the papers. Upon inspection, the RV has numerous rat droppings inside it. We even had Dylan, the sales person who didn't show up for our appointment on January 30th, look at it. We found another RV we liked, but they wouldn't budge on the price. They offered another RV at a lower price which didn't have very good reviews. They would not work with us, which is surprising considering what we just went through. I would recommend you purchase an RV elsewhere. Completely disappointed and disgusted by our experience at Crestview RV in Georgetown and will never set foot in one of their stores again based on the rude, unprofessional, and dishonest behavior of Dusty (Manager) and the rest of the service department staff. Dusty lied to us, and lied to Jayco who was trying to coordinate approved warranty work which Dusty initially agreed to do then told us he wouldn't do after the RV had been sitting in their service department for quite some time. After Jayco agreed to repairs we were told that because of the time it takes for them to pay they will decline performing the work and refused repairs without cause, we then offered to pay for the repairs ourselves and get reimbursed by Jayco but He was unwilling to offer any help or solution to us on a unit for which they are an authorized repair facility and dealer for. As an authorized repair center we were amazed that they refused service. Upon picking our RV up to take it elsewhere for repairs, we found urine and feces in and around our toilet which had been emptied and thoroughly cleaned prior to drop off at Crestview. They stated that no one there could have done that after the Coach was out of our possession and on their lot for a more than a month. They did agree to perform a cleaning and sanitization service of the system, but still took no responsibility and added an extra 3 hours to what should have been a 5 minute pick up process. At every level, this was a terrible and unprofessional experience. We will never step foot at Crestview ever again and would caution others to avoid them at all costs as well. read more

Review is 2 parts - First, thank you to Caleb in sales for helping us upgrade our travel trailer experience as we moved from 18ft to 30ft. We picked the worst time to upgrade, during Covid when manufacturing had slowed and there was so much demand that inventory was hard to come by anywhere. However, Caleb was still able to get us into the unit we wanted without us being charged the excessive amounts that some dealers were charging knowing that inventory was limited everywhere. Second, a huge thank you to Trey in the service department! He took over from our original service advisor who was able to get our 1 year warranty repairs completed before our planned trip. He kept me in the loop of the process when he took over and did an excellent job with our warranty claims. I know both service advisors got a lot of abuse over the past few months due to delays that were really out of their control (service appointments were booked out for months, parts delays, etc. again due to influx of travel trailer purchases during Covid and manufacturing delays in all industries for same reason). She is recent widow and is purchasing an RV to be closer to her every other day dialysis treatments. The sales person quoted a price and we agreed by placing a deposit on the unit. While finalizing the paperwork, the sales person came back and stated his sales manager didn't agree with the price. The sales manager wanted her to pay additional money or no deal. BEWARE! BEWARE! Do NOT sign any Loan paper work without reading the fine print on every single page!!!! They wrap additional expenses into the loan that you may wish to pay upfront without NOTICE. They selected a Loan Provider without customer input. I have a high penalty payoff clause buried in my loan documents. Penalty payoffs are NOT typical on RV's. I did the research. They pushed/selected an EXPENSIVE Extended service plan as well w/o input as well as included it in my loan which I did not catch at my quick review of the paperwork. TAKE THE PAPERWORK HOME TO REVIEW EVERY DETAIL BEFORE YOU SIGN! Apparently Crestview gets kickbacks from their PREFERRED suppliers. ALSO, after scheduling the walk through and site setup, they claimed they didn't have an appointment scheduled when we arrived, albeit, the site setup company was coming! They tried to hurry through a 2 hr walk through while the setup folks waited. However, the set up could not be complete and they left us hanging to fend for ourselves. BEWARE! BEWARE! She would call again and again we will call you back,she asked if I could help. I've been calling and actually was able to talk to some one, when I started questioning about the transaction they said I will call you back before the end of business today or first thing in the morning. We have used Crestview for about 4 years, with our fifth wheel and now our Tiffin diesel pusher. I have never had a problem with repairs and some custom work we have had done. It's been done on time and to a very high standard (they installed an entire new roof, new front door and various windows at one point after it had been damaged in storage) especially the custom work which takes some talent and care. Our Tiffin is currently there now and I can not say enough to thank Joey Lawrence for his help advise and ability to work with me on timing and quality of work with his technicians. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! I would have to be truly desperate to spend even another dollar at this place. I definitely got the feeling that they are: a) completely overwhelmed by the amount of work they have b) are taking advantage of their customers as much as they possibly can c) are unkind people who do not care about their customers This was absolutely the worst customer service (can I even call it that!?) that I've experienced in my life. I took my RV to them in February 2021 (I made the appointment two months prior only to learn when I dropped off my RV that I did not actually have an appointment and that it would be another 2+ weeks before they would even look at it -- mind you, we live in our RV full-time, which was explained to them, but that did not motivate them to disclose any of this prior to us showing up). They ended up keeping our RV for over 60 days and only did the following work (yes, 60 days and we live in it full-time!): - Repair slide out topper - Replace air compressor hose quick connects - Replace solenoid - Wash RV - *Repair water leak behind refrigerator - *Replace water filters *These repairs were due to freeze damage while the RV was in their custody, and would not have happened had it not been held hostage by them in their parking lot. So yes, 60 days for less than a full days worth of work! And they attempted to charge us nearly $5,000 for this! We kicked and screamed and got the price down a bit, but we still got absolutely ripped off. However, the work (or lack thereof) isn't even the worst part of it. They did ever do what they say their are going to do (i.e. call me back, dump the water tanks, etc.). And the communication from Christoper Ingmire (our service rep) was pretty much non-existent. We had to go there multiple times just to be able to talk to him because he would neither answer the phone nor call us back. Absolutely a treacherous experience. They had me come in same day, and despite a few challenges with the set up, got it fixed and had me on the road hours later. Went to look at travel trailers and compare sizes. Greeted by the receptionist and told Kieth (maybe Kevin) would be with us soon, to look around. A few minutes later Keith greeted us, and asked what we needed help with. Explained we are in the beginning stages of looking and getting ideas. He asked what we would be using to pull it and I told him a Highlander. He proceeded to tell us that none of the trailers could be pulled by it and we would need to get a new vehicle or leave the RV stationary. The Highlander pulls up to 5000 lbs and what we were looking at were models under 3500. He told us to look around and come get him when we were ready. 5-10 min later we were ready to look outside the showroom, he was outside with another associate, and when we went outside he told us that we would need a sales person yo help look outside to go back in and find one. Pretty obvious he assumed we were not serious or couldn't afford. Sad customer service. read more

The service Department sucks! You stand there and wait every time you go in there. No one seems to know what they are doing. Please steer away from this dealership to have type of service done. I have caught them telling me that they repaired several things only to find that they never even touched it. I would not recommend them to anyone! read more

My husband and I purchased a 5th wheel here. The experience was horrible. The salesman did nothing to make sure our experience was a good one. They did nothing for an entire week about the financing and we had an appointment to come in on a Friday to complete the sale, they waited until that day to look anything about figuring out details for the trade in we were making. The customer service was terrible, they didn't even offer us bottle of water or coffee while we were there waiting for them to do their job. It wasted an entire day. They didn't even call me to confirm the appointment and I was driving in 3 hours away to be there. I had to track down someone to make sure things were ready to go before I got there - they said they were but again NOTHING was done when we showed up to sign the papers. read more
