It takes months to get claims filed. We sold ourselves the travel trailer, no salesperson was available to sell to us the day we arrived and with hardly any communication we purchased a rig we fell in love with. Our rig has had minor issues but trying to get anything resolved with Sunbelt requires months of patience and repeated communication initiated by the customer. Sunbelt "we'll take your $40,000+ but don't expect us to rush to fix anything; additionally, if you bug us we'll take longer" Getting told "don't take this personally but there was a stupid young girl answering phones" Excuse me sir, but if you start a sentence off with no offense it's probably offensive. I had called these guys, spoke to Pat. I have an RV in need of warranty work. He told me to drop it off, and that I was looking at a 2-week turn around. I dropped it off and 2-weeks later, my RV is sitting in the exact same place. About 10 days in, I called in to check on it, they said work order was pulled and it was about to get pulled in. Day 14, did a drive by, rv sitting same spot. Pat told me he had 5 roof repairs, $10k each, and basically said my warranty work less important. Customer service absolutely sucks! Please don't waste your time or money going here. They don't do what there going to say when you go to buy a rv from them. My husband and I bought at 5 wheel from them and they told us they would make sure it was in tip top shape when we bought it ( well that was a straight up lie) . They tell you to your face that they will do a walk through before you pick it up to make sure everything is good before you leave with it. ( they lie again).Well when we finally got the 5 wheel, come to find out they didn't do sh*t to it like they said. My husband had to fix the window seals, seal the top on the roof so it wouldn't leak, water heater , plus the a/c had to be replaced Because they said the a/c was in good condition. Plus the sink had a big stain in it and when I ask about the stain in the sink. They said they try to clean the stain out. (But once again lie ). Because my husband and I was able to get the stain out. Plus when we signed the paperwork to buy our 5 wheel. ( And thinking it was going to get check out). They only gave us one set of keys and told us they would call us when they found the second set of keys (they lie again to us ). We made special trip up there asking about the second set of keys, and they happen to find them do at the rv repair store. And please don't waste your time on there website, because you may see on thing on there website and get there and see something else. They don't keep up with there website at all. Stopped here to pick up a few necessary items for our RV. They had a good selection and the prices were about what I expected. Not as low as Camping World but not over priced either. My husband and I visited this RV sales store to look at RV's. We have never owned a RV and are totally lost. Al was great!!!!! He was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and answered ALL of our questions without making us feel stupid. He allowed us to look around on our own and made himself available for questions. I also really liked that each RV had the retail value, the wholesale value, and the price now. That shows the customer how much you are paying vs. the value of the RV. Can we say honest way to do business!!! We then went 20 mi down I-35 to Crestview RV sales dealership. Wow!!!!! DO NOT GO THERE!!!! Rude, rude, rude, and more rude. Once the salesman realized we weren't buying, he was done. We asked that salesman all the same questions we asked Al, and got a very different answer. His service quotes were double, and all the RV's were at least $10,000 more. He made us feel stupid, and talked down to us. We are educated people with degrees. We just don't know anything about RV's. Crestview missed the mark at sales 101. When we are ready to buy, we will go back to Sunbelt RV Center. No "professional service" here or "personal touch" as stated. This business is very unprofessional and without any integrity whatsoever. I brought my RV in for repair and was lied to from the start. Sales rep did not call as I asked to let me know what was wrong and cost to fix. Did not make repairs in the time frame agreed on. Lied to me about the cost to fix the problem and charged me $90 more for the product than what you can buy it for online. Last but certainly not least, they charged me $110 labor to replace a power board that can be removed and replaced in 10 minutes time. This place is terrible. Please don't go here. read more

Excellent service and very friendly! We took our fifth wheel to a diffenert RV place at first, BC we thought they would be able to fix our AC quickly, but turns out the "big name" place just wanted to sell us a new RV and told us they wouldn't work on our RV BC it was too old and needed a bunch of stuff replaced before they would touch it. Needless to say we left "big name" place and took it to the local Sunbelt RV. They were so friendly, accomadating and quick. We had a trip planned just a couple days after we dropped it off with them and they diagnosed the problem, which turned out to be a short in the batteries and not and AC issue. They not only saved us a bunch of money, but were very friendly and honest. We will absolutely return to Sunbelt RV for an future repairs. Excellent people! read more

I had a problem with my 5th wheel trailer. Took a picture with my cell phone to show them. They said they could fix the problem and check my roof that they replaced 2 years ago for about $7000.00 on an insurance claim. I was staying at Belton R V Park next door and they would come over to my trailer. Advised them at the time I was leaving in 2 weeks. I gave them my extra set of keys so they could come anytime. At the end of 2 weeks I went back I got my keys. They didn't check the roof or fix the problem. Don't plan on returning. read more

At first they thought that we would have to buy a new assembly but they found they had a part that would fix the problem. Excellent customer service and quick repair. Sunbelt RV Center is an all around center, sales, parts and service. They carry Forest River Surveyors on their new product line and do a lot of consignment sales, as well as offer short and long term storage. They can help you with your insurance claims, they work with adjusters all the time. Need a new roof, they can do it! They are a mom and pop shop, their customers are number 1. On the sales lot they may not have the inventory that the big boys do but they can order what you might want (Surveyor); their prices are, usually, significantly less then the bigger dealers. If you buy an RV (camper) from them they will go over it with a check list, prep it and give you the RV 101 Course, if you so desire! They will deliver and setup (1st 50 miles is free). I can honestly say that their service after the sell is much quicker than the big boys, instead of waiting weeks (sometimes with the big boys, months) to get your unit in and fixed you might be able to get it in right away or make an appointment, they are prompt to get you in and out! The service technicians are very knowledgeable. I've personally had them service my RV and I have always been very satisfied with the results. Usually, when you deliver your RV on the appointment day they start on it, it doesn't sit on the lot a week or two before they get to it! They are a Forest River authorized service center but they can work on anything, including those fancy stock trailers with living quarters! They install brake modules, they install equalizer hitches, they have a service that installs 5th wheel hitches. To my knowledge, they don't work on motor home drive-trains (motors, transmissions or generators). The parts and supply store has a great selection of necessities and fun stuff to make your camping trip more enjoyable. So, if you are looking for a new RV or a slightly used one, check out Sunbelt RV Center Sales. If you need service or parts stop by... I think you'll appreciate their quick response! This place gave us one of the worst customer service experiences that we have ever had to the current point of a serious consideration of litigation on our part. Do NOT take your trailer here for a repair. They will try to charge you for quoting it and aren't above not giving you the keys to your own property if you don't like the price of the quote. We took our trailer in to get a quote for a replacement kitchen counter, and a quote on pricing the trailer for sale. First of all, it took literally MONTHS to get pricing and our questions answered. They returned maybe 1 call to our every 6-7 calls, and usually said that they would have to call us back again with more information. They would give us excuses like someone was out of town, they were waiting for a call back from another company, etc. I have never had a business be so poor at returning calls and answering questions. They finally gave us a verbal quote for repairing the countertop (over $2,000) and a quote on selling the trailer ($6000 for a NADA $15,700 trailer value). We decided against both and went to pick up the trailer to take it elsewhere. They wouldn't give us the keys to our trailer because they said they had already ordered a replacement counter top. First of all, we NEVER approved ordering the counter top or the work. We never saw any written documentation, never signed a quote - nothing. We had been given a verbal quote which we balked at. I cannot help it if they ordered a counter top without approval/documentation. They then concurred that we hadn't agreed to the fix but said we owed them for 12 hours of labor for QUOTING the repairs/making phone calls. They said we could only have our trailer keys back if we paid $750 for their labor of QUOTING us a fix. Oh, but they'd give us the $750 counter top uninstalled. Basically, they screwed up ordering something without approval and wanted us to pay for that mistake. Second of all, they held our trailer hostage unless we paid $750 for something we never agreed to. They wouldn't give us the trailer keys and kept saying we owed them for all the hours of phone calls to quote the repair. I'm sorry, but getting quotes for people is a part of doing business. If they had told us up front that we would be charged for time involved in getting a quote for a repair, then we would have gone elsewhere as everywhere else on the planet will not charge you for quoting a price on something (nor take weeks and weeks and weeks to do so). And then taking someone's property and not letting them have it back unless they pay is extortion at best, criminal at worst. read more
