Me and my wife stopped in today with intentions on buying a RV. We walked in and we were welcomed by the very nice receptionist and ask how she could help. We replied with wanting to look at rv's and she replied ok great if you would like to look at the ones in the show room ill have a salesman get over asap. So while we were looking at a unit a salesman by the name of Richard be be walks in and sets down and asks, "Hey what's up what can I do?" I told him what we were interested in and if he could show us around. He said well what options are you looking for? I asked what options are available as I am a new owner and know nothing about rv's. He said, I don't know dude, you tell me. He was very arrogant and pushy. He told us he was only going to show us a max of 3 units because, "After that they all just blend together" He even said if I show you more than three you're going to forget them anyway. Well I am not sure why all there negativity. At least for the parts department I got great service. We were here from Nevada and I needed a wiper blade for my coach. As always not only did the auto parts store not help they had the deer in the headlight look when I brought in the example. I called here and talked to Mitch. Not only was he professional and very polite he took the time to discuss all the details. He had to go look for the unit so I told him he could call me back encase more walk ups came to the counter. He did just that about ten minutes later. They had one and he happily held it until the next day so I could pick it up. Upon arrival, the only 'negative' was: front counter greeter was to busy messing with her nails to say hello, can I help you or anything for that matter, and was the same upon exiting. But the counter guys were great and happy to serve me. Even gave me a Veteran's discount. So good service and they had what I needed, so I'm calling it a win win!!! read more

These people are great when they want to sell you something, but their service department is awful. We brought our RV back one year later to get routine inspection before the warranty expired. We had a list of items they needed to repair. We were told it would take two weeks, but we got our RV back over a month later. When we finally got it back, there were several items on the list that had not been completed. So they took over a month to do something that should only take two weeks and STILL couldn't get it right. To compensate us, they gave us a gift card to their shop. As if I care. I want my RV back so I can go travel. A week later, we finally got our RV back. However, they still couldn't get it right. One of the cushions on the dinette was falling apart and Crestview ordered the wrong replacement cushion. Also, the toilet water valve conveniently broke while under their care. Instead of taking our RV back to Crestview for a third time, my husband ordered and replaced the part himself. He's not even a RV technician and he does a better job than these guys. I would suggest taking your RV repairs somewhere else. read more

This is a HORRIBLE service center. I have never purchased a vehicle from them (nor would I ever), but I brought my RV there for service last year in in March 2019. They held my RV for more than 2 months to diagnose the issue. I called them weekly to get updates and ask them to please look into the issues. After 2 months they finally gave me a report, which didn't match the issues I brought the vehicle in for. Because their service was so bad, I had them do the bare minimum of what needed to be done - a new chassis battery and a new charge converter. Within 3 months of them replacing those parts, I had electrical issues with the vehicle. When I had another mechanic investigate, he discovered that Crestview installed different parts than what they billed me for. They billed me for installation of new parts, but they installed older used parts (that weren't even the same brand name as what the listed in the invoice). Avoid this shady business, go somewhere else. read more

I never post negative reviews, but this time I just felt I had to! We had body work and mechanical work done at Crestview in Georgetown. We dropped off our rig at the beginning of Aug '17 and finally picked it up at the end of October. That was bad enough, but when we had our tech review the work because some of the items just didn't seem "right", we found a number of parts, clamps, clips and fans missing. We contacted Crestview who acted like we were nuts. We contacted our insurance carrier and they went to Crestview, evaluated the work and requested a refund for the parts they were charged for that were not, in fact, replaced. I went in to look at a travel trailer, told them I had looked at and like the rock wood at another dealer ship. I was told I would be happy with a few of the trailers they had, so I went out to look at what they had, they took me to look at lower end trailers that where priced as high as the rock woods. We did find a used rock wood on there lot it was marked 25,000 we asked if they could make a deal on it and we were told that it was on sale, that they where asking 35,000 originally! Came in looking for specifics (30ft travel trailer with opposing slides between the years 2016-present). We did a ton of homework for what we wanted, unfortunately Crestview doesn't carry many of the brands we researched. First when we walked in the receptionist didn't seem very enthused about us interrupting her knitting as she seemed to begrudgingly summon a sales rep for us (Kenny). Our initial impression of Kenny was that he came across very arrogant and short. he seemed insulted that we mentioned anything about wanting to know if you Carried Winnebego, Jayco or Grand Design in the parameters we researched. He did narrow the choices well to the specs we requested by showing us some nice Keystone Outbacks which gave us a good idea about possibly purchasing one (somewhere else). I would refuse to give my hard earned money to someone who makes you feel very belittled and uneducated about the product you seek. My wife and I have been full time RVers for the last 3 years and are now ready to downsize from our 36 foot class A into a smaller travel trailer since we will no longer be all-year around RVers. We asked about looking at some used models also in our desired specs and he pretty much refused to show us any because we didn't indicate we were buying today. Who knows maybe you guys train your sales staff to act in that fashion (arrogant and pompous). I was VERY dissatisfied with the lack of customer-centric communications, care for the customer's needs and expectations, simple courtesy to even call the customer back after a customer-initiated call, The lack of the service rep to get me a timely or accurate quote...the whole experience was such a great disappointment in virtually EVERY CATEGORY of the word "service" Crestview RV in Georgetown, Texas. The only two employees that were cognizant of "customer service" was STEVEN in the Parts Department and WAYLON the Dispatcher...they literally listened to me and my concerns about my vehicle being with Crestview RV for 4 MONTHS to simply install one set of leaf springs on on side of one axle and repack the bearings on two axles. They actually treated me as a representative of a servicing company should treat a customer with at least a modicum of respect and civility. Thank you both for that Steven and Waylon. read more

I usually don't like posting such low and negative reviews but sometimes things happen. I am giving them a negative response for customer service and solely for la k of and poor customer service. I have a RV and called regarding a service question and to see about maintenance. So I'm not sure if the receptionist, a lady, was having a bad or it's always like this. I tired to ask my question about my service problem and her reply, "sorry we don't do that, I don't know who does and if you need more information try a phone book or the internet". This was my first interaction with Crestview RV so I can't judge against any other customer relations and service but if this is how they answer the phone and an inquiry about service and maintenance they should probably relook at their efforts. As a counter to this level of service and the "phonebook and internet" comment I called another local RV center where they listened to my question, asked for some clarification of the issue and made a recommendation to correct my problem. In the end, I didn't need to take my RV to them, they had me take a photo, I did, went to the service department and after reviewing my photo they sold me my part and sent me on the way. Well, I bought my new RV from this place. Nice sales guy, no longer there, two weeks after the sale. Things went wrong, they covered them. Now, as I sit by the side of the road, with a flat, I'm writing this. They tried to sell me my RV without a spare tire. I protested, they threw it in. Guess what? Wrong wheel! Just found out the hard way! Five hole.... wrong! The correct wheels have six holes! Now, I'll wait for a mobile tire guy. This little outing should cost me about a grand, including buying a new spare. Don't trust that this dealer actually knows the correct fixes and parts for your unit. Check EVERYTHING, even something as basic as the spare tire. Wish I had! read more

I just spoke to a salesman. When I asked if they were able to honor a lower price from a competitor, I was told that if I purchased from a competitor and I brought it to them for service they WOULD fix it but it would not be a priority. My wife and I have been shopping around for a trailer as first-time buyers. We went in Crestview RV in GT today and were nicely greeted by a receptionist who paged "Ron" to assist us. We looked around in their lobby of RVs for 20 minutes and Ron never showed up. We decided if they can't treat us well as prospects, they will probably treat us just as bad as customers. I have traveled to Texas from Iowa with a new StarCraft/jayco fifth wheel to stay the winter. Our a/c went out on us so I went online and found dealer which sold this brand at georgetown by the name of Crestview RV. When I called to see when I could get it worked on, I was told if we hadn't bought it there they would not do warranty work on RV. Kinda screwed as we are not going back until April. Called and made appt for very minor repairs told it could take up to three weeks and that was on 9/5/20 Called back on 9/25 to check status and got story that oh the three week timeframe was just to get approval for warranty work and (cue the violins) we only have one warranty lady who handles everything and due to Covid she is working from home and trying to homeschool her kids blah blah blah. After expressing my frustration with this all janes the service guy calls me back on 9/25 stating the warranty work was approved we arranged to pick the RV up on 9/30 for the weekend use and was again assured they had ordered the parts so that was all they were waiting on. We took RV back to Crestview on 10/7 and our service guy James was off that day but we again are told just waiting on parts. Fast forward to 10/19 called to check status and James tells me still waiting ion warranty approval and when I said WTH again got the same sad story of one warranty lady homeschooling her kids and oh she is back in the office since the beginning of this month, to which the personnel issues or lack thereof should not be visible or noticeable to customers bc it sounds like they need someone that can focus on their job they are being paid to do instead of making all other employees make excuses to their customers for Crestview's lack of proper management. So Crestview if you want free advertising here it is:: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH CRESTVIEW WHO CANNOT HANDLE THEIR PERSONNEL FOR CUSTOMERS. After having my 2020 RV for one year here is my review. I have a Springdale 260BH. After one camping trip the toilet failed the walls in the inside are built cheap and the table has staples that are not in it properly and one of the stabilizer jacks failed. Brought the trailer in to James the service advisor most items got fixed. Except the staples on the table and now the wall is coming apart again which they claimed to fix. After many phone calls and messages to James to get the parts ordered for the staples to be fixed. No return calls back from him and it's still not fixed. My battery failed I brought it back to Crestview RV they replaced it. I again talked to them about the parts that were never ordered the gentlemen stated James would contact me which he never did once again. Now my year warranty is up and I am not counting on Crestview RV nor James to contact me about the issue. Beware the service team is slow to repair your rig and do a half ass job. Don't expect them to communicate with you in a timely manner. I got tired of calling the place to get my trailer fixed. I am planing on selling this trailer and getting a bigger one. I have not been this disappointed in a business in years. I bought a nearly new travel trailer from them. The part where I buy something went well. However, when I got it home, the slide-outs would not slide out. I called them, and they came right away and picked it up. So, I was thinking this might be a good company. Unfortunately, when they picked it up, they never checked it back in or filled out a service ticket. So, over the next 10 days, nothing would happen. Multiple times, I called. Each time, I reached a service adviser who said, "there isn't even a ticket in the system. I will find out what is going on and call you back." However, no one ever called back. After the first two phone calls, we stopped in personally. Again, the service adviser said, "I will find out what is going on and call you later today." He never called either. For another week, we did this. We called Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Each time it was the same, "there is no ticket in the system. I will check on it and get back to you." By Saturday, we had had enough, so we went back there in person. This time, we made a bit of a fuss. The sales manager wasn't happy that we were making a scene. "You don't need to get all upset about it, we will find out what is going on and let you know." We insisted that he would find out what was going on NOW and that we weren't leaving until it was taken care of. And, we kept our volume up for everyone in the store to hear, because that is the ONLY way we could get them to actually do what we needed. Once we got them on it, it took only about an hour for them to find and fix the problem. But it took at least five phone calls, two visits, and a heated exchange to get them to do it. The service adviser who finally took care of us did apologize. He stated this was his busy season, and everyone is overworked, "so stuff falls through the cracks." I told him that what made us mad is that at least 8 different times a person specifically said they would check on it and call us back, but not one of those 8 people followed through. His answer shocked me, "I'll call you back is one of those things you just say, like 'the check is in the mail.'" I firmly told him, "no, 'I will call you back' is a promise that you make to the customer who pays the money that keeps you employed. If you say it, you mean it and you do it." When the salesman delivered it the second time, he gave us his card. He was clearly trying to recover our experience. He spent some time with us answering questions and went over the trailer with us for a little while before he left. He did offer to come back when we hook it up to the truck for the first time, to ensure that we know how to hook everything up properly. However, we have called multiple times since then to ask him to do that. No one will come out. They did refer us to someone else that we can hire to do it if we want. They are good at selling stuff. Their customer service, at least during peak season, is horrendous. The worst part is that no one in the dealership seemed to be at all interested in making it better, even when we were giving them feedback that was reasonable. read more

Buyer beware- you may find a camper you like and feel good about the price you pay. However; be prepared to lose out BIG when it comes to service after the sale. I purchased a new travel trailer. (haggle and they may include a hitch- which they quoted $600, and is on Amazon for $320). On the first family trip 2 weeks after purchase, the toilet began leaking at the base. After the trip, I dropped it back with them for multiple warranty issues (leak, loose siding, inop lighting, etc). I told them I'd need the repairs performed before July 4th weekend, as we had a trip planned (3 weeks away). I waited 2-1/2 weeks before I called. I was told they were awaiting approval for warranty work and nothing had been done. Zero updates. Christopher (Service "advisor") was incompetent and only returned one phone call to tell me they had an OK to fix the LED cup holder lights. After a hard press from me regarding the minimal effort put forward by the service department and the fact that a leaking toilet on a 2 week old travel trailer is DEFINITELY a warranty concern, they replaced the toilet seal. When you pay $30k for an item, and the company expects you to not use that item for an undetermined amount of time while they mull over if they are going to back up their product, it paints a clear picture of the lack of customer commitment. BEWARE- if something is wrong with your new camper, only expect minimal effort at best from this service department. read more

Dropped off the camper to get fixed. It won't pop up. Service guy told me it would be a month before they could get to it. I called the service manager and yep, "one month." I was looking to upgrade, and the sales guy assured me that they have "more than thirty service bays to meet any service need." I'm currently unmotivated to spend twenty thousand dollars there on a product that doesn't have a service reputation to match sales rhetoric. We had a good sales experience, but service thereafter is beyond useless. Tons of little stuff (mostly electrical wiring the dealership overlooked) broke within months of purchasing our new 2022 keystone last fall. We took it in January with a list of things to be fixed under warranty. It literally sat there for 6 weeks without anyone even looking at it. After 6 weeks when we started really getting on them and giving them a hard deadline they finally started working and we got it back 2 weeks later. Fast forward to this month, our one year warranty is about to expire, so we made a list of broken parts and made an appointment. They were adamant about us just bringing it in to be looked at and inspected, said they absolutely couldn't hold it overnight, they'd order the parts, and we'd bring it back when the parts arrived to be installed. This worked out great because I'm about to have a baby and we would be able to park it up on the ranch beforehand...something we wouldn't be able to do for a while after the baby is born. Their story changed when we got there and they made us leave it there and sign some release saying they could hold it as long as 8 weeks. We agreed but said this timeline wouldn't work, and they told us they'd have it done by midweek. Fast forward three weeks later and they still have our RV and NOTHING has been completed, including the detail we ordered. They claimed they sent everything through for warranty approval to Keystone and they were just waiting for Keystone to respond, so I called Keystone to verify and they said they had not received anything from Crestview. Furthermore, there were two open recalls that Crestview didn't even know about or check. They always say they'll "call you right back" and never do and you are constantly calling to follow up. If your service advisor isn't there, other service advisors can't see what is done on their end, and it's a huge cluster. At this point they have flat out lied to us and passed the blame onto Keystone, while also missing two very important open recalls. I can't trust them at all at this point and I'm scared if our RV is even safe with them servicing it. read more

Crestview RV has a good group working in their service team and on-site store. The service is prompt, professional and courteous and their hours are convenient for RV'ers that also have to work normal hours. I have had my travel trailer serviced here in the past and was pleased with the work. It was done when they said it would be and they didn't try to add on a bunch of work or product that wasn't asked for. Their store is just plain dangerous... of course they have lots of RV specific fixtures and fittings that are hard to find elsewhere, but they also have lots of those fun gadgets and items that you find that you just absolutely have to have as you wander the aisles. For my location in Round Rock, I find Crestview far more convenient to get to then say Camping World down in San Marcos. And once again, its the people that make the experience. Without knowing the proper lingo, I have asked the counter staff to point me towards some poorly explained "do-hickie" or "thingamajig" and they can always locate it! read more

We are in the market for a class A and went there on a Sunday to simply look and we were told that we couldn't by the receptionist, who didn't bother to ask if we were looking or wanting to buy today... because of Texas blue laws. Worst response and customer service ever. 8 months of waiting...placed 38 phone calls trying to get updates concerning our repairs and claims. Excuses ranged from covid to "haven't been able to find somebody to take the pictures". Someone finally came out and within a week we were told that the claim was submitted and that's all they could do. Have asked for someone to call to see about repairs, but no return calls once again. Now going on 9 months. If this is customer service, not sure how good a job they would do if we ever get it in for repairs. Will post updates as they happen...if ever. Good luck. I agree with the others that had problems. Brandon in service is great but the others are like a bunch of high school kids running the place We bought our trailer and it had to be ordered. Four to six weeks we were told. Fine no problem. After six weeks with zero contact from them I call. Oh yah. It's on it's way. We finally took delivery after 12 weeks. No one calls you back. Ever! A couple drawers had big scratches down the front. "Well order you new drawers ". That took 2 1/2 months of constant hounding from us. Great Customer service, We are not your typical Rvs - young tattoed gypses. BUT They treated us with respect and gave us the same friendly. We bought our Brand New Lacrosse Luxury Lite and we love it. They took time to explain everything. I've used Crestview RV in Georgetown, Tx for service on my last three motorhomes since they opened years ago. Their service department is a total joke. Takes weeks just to get a drop-off appointment and then more months to get the repairs done. My last experience last month on my 2017 Winnebago Grand Tour was the last straw. They had my coach for two months for a leveling system issue and finally called me to pick it up since they don't have the knowledge to repair it. I took it to another RV repair shop in Harker Heights, Tx and they fixed it in one day. After three repair trips to Crestview to repair my bedroom door they finally fixed it. When I got home I found a large wooden trim piece on the couch they never re-installed so had to pay the Harker Heights shop to finish the repair. While Crestview had my coach for two months they were also to repair a water leak above my entertainment center. They told me they did some caulking work and did a good water test and all was fine. What a huge LIE. First time out it rained and still leaked bad. As soon as I got back home I went on the roof and there is zero evidence of any new caulking. They owe me my money back for the repair and paying to have the trim piece re-installed. I contacted Winnebago Industries to report this dealership but they are just as worthless so will never buy another Winnebago product. I've been a customer for 15 years but never again. We live in Round Rock - have 2 kids/boys so therefore sold the Harley Davidson. We opted for a family activity and started looking at campers. Our sales guy (CAM WHARTON) located at the Crestview location in Georgetown was very easy to work with. He listened to our needs and wants and showed us several options. He was very patient with us and made the buying process very easy. His knowledge of campers is outstanding and knows the competition well - we asked a lot of questions in this arena. This was the worst place to take our RV for service! When we called to schedule an appointment for warranty work, we were told it would be at least six weeks before they could see our RV. No problem, I put it on the calendar, confirmed a few days prior and dropped off the RV on scheduled date. They had our RV for 4 1/2 months with little to no contact during this time! I would call to check on the progress and would never be able to speak to our service rep - Christopher Ingman. I would leave messages and he would very rarely call me back. I even called his supervisor Dave Lockin and would rarely be able to get him on a call either. They have the worst communications skills and the most awful customer service skills I have seen in a long time!!!! When we were finally able to pick up our RV, (after me doing all the calls/emails with Coachmen to get the parts sent to them), neither of these guys came out to do the walk thru with the person who actually did the service (even though they both said they would be right out). Unbelievable how bad the service at this place was. I would never recommend them and would hope that people doing their research on places to have work done on their RV's would not take their RV here. Terrible service. We setup an appointment 6+ weeks ago (which they confirmed) and we we got there today they said the RV wouldn't be fixed for another 17 days! If you want 6+ weeks for an appointment why does it take another 3+ weeks to fix. Furthermore, the reason we wanted to get it fixed is something the have supposedly fixed 2 other times. It was pretty refreshing to not have any high pressure salesmen breathing down my neck. Cameron showed me a lot of options and helped me narrow down exactly what I am looking for. We looked and new and used as well as the pros and cons of each. Bought a used motor home with stipulation they would repair de lamination problem on overhang above truck cab. They fixed it improperly. Did not replace rotted wood. Glued lamination onto rotted wood. It came loose the first time I drove it. Also did not properly service A/C unit. Was seated improperly, leaking air, and thermostat was placed at point of leak, causing unit to shut off compressor even though coach wasn't cooled. Improper repair of lamination caused further damage and rot. Sold us a supposedly comprehensive extended warranty, but it doesn't cover any body work. read more

I needed my awning fabric and two arms replaced on my RV. "Ten Days" and it will we ready. Six weeks later, it was ready only because I kept on their backs for the last 4 weeks. SIX WEEKS TO REPLACE A WELL KNOWN AWNING FABRIC. It cost me two fishing / family reunion trips. Apology? Not on your life. Crestview Georgetown is a busy place. Tony has been our Service Advisor for 2 years. He always gets us scheduled and repaired in a reasonable timeframe. Great with status and followup phone calls too. Took great care of the folks I sold our last travel trailer to as well. They were from Houston and needed a brake controller. In and out quickly plus, didn't charge them to adjust the hitch to their truck. read more

I want to thank Crestview for the way their staff treated my wife and I today (11/23/19). If they hadn't, we wouldn't have left and gone to RV Outlet down the road. The receptionist was snippy and rude. The salesman Kenny pretty much a condescending jerk. First off Kenny, we've been researching RV models. We know what we're looking for. Second, just because we're not buying today doesn't mean you shouldn't try and cultivate a sale for a later date. I'm actually thinking about emailing the manager just to give him a piece of my mind. After all I have read in other reviews I'm glad I didn't buy. I would have regretted it. Thanks Kenny. read more
