My six-year-old actually laughing while gettin his hair cut. Thanks, Cally!
Laurie C.

We had a great experience at Crestview Barber Shop today. Cally did an amazing job with my 6 year-old and 2 year-old boys. The 6 year-old was having a blast, as you can see in his photo, and the baby didn't cry like he did at the children's place we took him to last time. And the haircuts are much better too, the best we've got for the boys since moving to Austin a year ago, in fact. Great job, Cally! I especially like how they had toys available for the kids to play with. Also, this place is in a little strip mall with a picnic table outside and a small grocery in the same lot, so you can walk with your younger children outside or sit and feed them a bag of chips or whatnot while you wait for your turn. We didn't have any wait, but it was nice to have those options.

Toddler hair cut!
Alicia W.

Diane was amazing!!! She did such a wonderful job cutting our toddlers hair - even though he made it very difficult for her with moving around and crying- the cut came out great. She was very kind, patient and understanding of toddler emotions. Highly recommend! They also take COVID serious and are very clean & safe. If you are looking for it a spot to get your kids/toddler/baby a hair cut - this is the place and Diane is amazing.

Kallie always does the freshest cuts and makes getting a hair cut such a pleasant experience. Can't beat the price around this area, too!

Great people, great cuts, no BS hipster elitism. $17 for a men's haircut, throw them a $20, they do a really good consistent job.

Teddy was great with our son; he gave him a fantastic haircut as he was squirming around playing with his toys.

What sets Kali apart is that she continuously educates herself on the latest equipment, procedures, and skincare innovations. She vigorously researches anything she sells or puts on your face, which gives me complete confidence in her recommendations. A few treatments that have transformed my skin: Fibroblast, microneedling, peels, dermaplaning, and now Sofwave. Fibroblast virtually erased my lip lines and crow's feet, improved skin texture, minimized large pores, and tightened areas of laxity. The results have been remarkable. Kali's facials are exceptional because they're customized. She analyzes your skin, listens to your goals, and tailors treatments to achieve the best results. You're never rushed. If you book a facial and your skin needs something different that day, she'll discuss your options and help you achieve the results you're looking for. For microblading and lash lifts/tints, anyone at Love + Roots is fantastic. The entire team is talented, professional, and focused on delivering beautiful, natural-looking results. Kali and Jessica have built something special. They are kind, passionate, knowledgeable professionals who genuinely care about their clients. I could go on and on, but I'll simply say this: go see them. You'll thank me later. And don't skip the retail boutique--I've found countless gifts there for friends and, of course, myself!

The staff are really friendly and really strive to provide top-notch services. They excel at customer service and their craft. Kiyita is an incredible stylist who got me right away. I needed a good hair braiding and she nailed it. I looked like I walked out of an NYC salon. Absolutely amazing salon.

While she's no longer at the Airport location, Windy has moved to a homey studio space inside Sola Salon on Burnet. Teaming up with a second hairstylist, Windy and her partner continue to offer their specialized Korean services, but in a more intimate setting. It feels like you've stepped into her home rather than a typical salon. There aren't any flashy decorations here--just a curtain for privacy when clients are in session, along with some faded pictures and personal fans scattered around. I came in after reading several reviews about her expertise in cutting Asian hair at an affordable price. I went in with my standard request: long layers and curtain bangs. Going into a hair salon, I always have an inspo pic in hand, but I know not to expect an exact match. Although there's a bit of a language barrier (I'm not sure if Windy speaks fluent English), I trusted her with the process, and she delivered. I wasn't sure how I felt about the shorter length, but after a few days, I'm pretty content with the outcome. Pro tip: I would recommend paying in cash for a discount, but even with a card, my total came to be $55, excluding tip.
