I'm continually surprised at how much a pizza costs these days, and yes, I realize how old I sound saying that. $30 for a large margherita seemed like a gamble on a place I'd never been to, but we were super impressed. The crust was thin but not a wafer cardboard. The toppings were ample but not overflowing to make the pizza soggy. The flavor was delicious. It was a chore to find (realizing now that "creekside" literally means off the beaten path down by the creek...). I picked up to go, but the restaurant/bar looked down home and divey, like the sort of place that knows how to make a good drink. I'd like to come back to find out. read more

the creekside has been a second home to me off and on for over two decades... made many longtime friends there and have innumerable memories of great times, however, I've been overcharged consistently by bartenders who I did not expect to continue stealing, ESPECIALLY when I brought it up a few times in a tactfully vague way, so as to not point fingers. when this began happening to my girlfriend as well, we switched to using cash... maybe they got the message? no. the theft continued. in case the owner reads this, please, please pay attention to inconsistencies in cc bills/ cards run a few times with a bit extra here and there. while we do indeed have some drinks in us, tallying up end of evening bills isn't rocket science, and seeing an extra $10 or $20 coming out of my bank account over and over again when your experienced, longtime barkeeps are working is symptomatic not only of a shady operation, but very lax oversight. for sake of the regulars at least, get your shit together. read more

I'm in town for work and really didn't have any idea of where to have dinner. Then I just didn't feel like going anywhere... looking for delivery options I decided to try Creekside Pizza. GOOD CHOICE! I make a great pizza at home and on the road I'll sometimes order Papa John's which fills an empty stomach but falls short and n quality. Wow! This pizza is every bit as good as my home made pizza! Completely enjoyed it! The crust was perfect, sauce tasty, toppings were generous and the visual appeal and aroma was tantalizing. Creekside is solid! I have friends who say they have been coming here since their college days. It's off the main street, down some stairs and you can hear/see the creek running by just below some of the windows. This is our favorite family-style restaurant in Ashland so far. Our son is in college, and we've been here 3 times and it's been fun every time. Pizza is tasty, flavorful and delicious with creative toppings. Beer is cheap and quality (for Californians, anyway at $5 for craft) and the appetizers (salad, Italian mix) and others were very good. Some slowness on serving sometime, but hey, it's kind of a family pizza / bar type place, so it didn't bother us at all. Vibe is also very positive, with amazing hand-blown glass light fixtures, pool table, and people having fun. Will keep coming back. read more

Creekside has the best pizza for at least 200 miles don't even bother with the trash around these parts that is either over priced or bland. Delivery time was great, prices great too but our pizza was DRENCHED in garlic. My partners reaction was "Holy Garlic" and I love garlic but this was not a good garlic.. Each piece had at least one large spoon full of garlic all clumped together. We've gotten this pizza a bunch of times before and never have had this problem... not sure if this was an oversight or if their changing the way they do things.. but please Creekside, chill on the garlic!!! read more

We didn't stay for dinner. You know when you have a hankering for good beer and pizza... The beer selection was not as advertised (as good as) what was listed on website. My dirty martini was gross. We left and went somewhere else without trying the pizza. So I can't comment on that. read more

Yup Yup! Dairy-free cheese now available, and gluten-free crust on any 14"pizza. I wish they offered gluten-free, vegan slices instead of just full pies. Just cuz I have allergies doesn't mean I wanna pay for (or eat) an entire pizza. Food for thought. No gluten-free beer. Let's change that situation too, eh? The pizza is darn good. Nice thin crust and good coverage of toppings. Sweet potatoes on a pizza = yes! Add jalapenos for a real treat. The red sauce is fairly plain, but it's not completely without character and it does the job. I think the gluten-free crust was overdone though - it was burnt to black in some places and too crunchy. Horrible service. The wait staff was super rude. They seemed to prioritize their take out customers over the live customers sitting in their restaurant. The waitress didn't even refill our water or ask us if we wanted more to drink after we waited 45 minutes for a basic cheese pizza. We are done with creekside for good. The only reason people come there is the location. Certainly not for the service. Also it was dirty. The menus had caked food on them. Just avoid this place it's become super ghetto. read more

I just got in to town. I'm staying at the Rodeway Inn in a room. The delivery shows up with no napkin or plastic fork. Called them back. They didn't really know when they'd come back. So, as it's sitting here going from lukewarm on arrival to cold, I found a coffee straw and stabbed my tortellini to get it out of the box. Why would you not deliver a utensil to a motel room? A plastic fork comes with free attitude when you call them back to ask for one. 2 friends have already called since I've been here. They're staying here also. I like this place but for some reason the pizza's really inconsistent. It's like they have two different people who make the pizza and they both do it completely differently. Sometimes the pizzas really good and has plenty of cheese and isn't overcooked, then the other half of the time it's overcooked and has no cheese. Even when ordered with extra cheese. Pretty frustrating when a large pepperoni pizza is $30. If they could fix this, the place would have by far the best pizza in the area. read more

Came here on the recommendation of my son who lives nearby. Was not disappointed! Laid back atmosphere with outdoor dining and fire pit/bar área as well. Pizza was delicious as well as the spaghetti with grilled chicken. We even came back another time a few days later for a to go order. Would highly recommend! A+ read more

It's been a while since I visited Creekside but believe they are better with each visit. Their pizza is phenomenal and definitely in the top 3 for Ashland. The walnut pear salad pairs great with anything on the menu. Great energy for small groups or date night. Outdoor seating is limited but a great way to enjoy a Creekside experience. read more
