It's about 2 miles from the village so it's not within walking distance. However, get here if you can! We ordered one with 1/2 pulled pork 1/2 sausage and the community (veggie) pizzas and they were both incredible. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked with right ingredients. Our server (sorry I forgot her name but she's from Spain), was great! She explained everything to us (it was our first time here) and made some recommendations. Our water glass was never empty and she checked on us continuously (as well as the manager) to see if we needed anything. When we arrived, there were still plenty of seating but it filled up quickly. It's a pretty big place and they have a 2nd floor that overlooks the main floor (there were no customers on the 2nd floor). If you want great pizza that's not "traditional" (In the American sense), then you will enjoy this place. read more

Pretty good pizza, fitting ambiance for the area, and friendly staff. They recommend calling 20min in advance to get or onto the wait list. We got there just before 5, and the place was 3/4 full. I myself ordered the sausage mushroom pizza. Thin crust was good, but I found the sausage to be "sweet" or not salty enough. Girlfriend really likes her vegan pizza. Came here for dinner after a long day of Skiing. The restaurant is pretty big and fits a lot of people. The menu is minimal which is a good thing and you can customize it how you want. The 16" Pizza is HUGE but very thin so it's perfect to share for 2 people. We got the Pemberton and added chicken to it. The chicken was very bland and we probably would skip out on it for next time. But the pizza itself was great! GET THE SALAD. It is so good with goat cheese. The atmosphere was awesome. The kitchen is very open and you can see everything that goes on there. They have very talented chefs that can flip pizza dough like experts which was fun to watch. The waiters could have been nicer, but overall it was a great experience and I would recommend it and will be back. read more

Best hot sauce I've ever had in my life! Bought a smaller bottle for home and went trough it in about a week, haha. Not only is their hot sauce legendary, but oh boy do I understand the hype about their pizza. Their pies are so wildly delish, fresh tasting, and perfectly prepared. We enjoyed that they offer 1/2 a pizza as one type, while the other 1/2 another type! We enjoyed 1/2 tasty sausage feature and the other 1/2 as the potato one, hot diggity dang was it ever tasty. Called 20 minutes ahead of time to reserve a table, arrived at 5:30pm, and we were seated immediately. We were starving after a long day of snowboarding so we split 3 16inch pizzas among 5 people. homemade sausage pizza - covered in tons of meat full of flavor Mopsy's kalua pork - favorite dish here. I loved the kalua pork and pineapple combo. replaced the goat cheese with mozzarella and it was perfect Jay's heart - we added chicken and smoked bacon to it. I thought this pizza had the least amount of flavor. The crust is baked to perfection and cut into many pieces for easy sharing. I thought the crust was pretty crispy and tasty. Service was pretty quick and the pizzas came out surprisingly quick. I think the legit pizza oven must cook it extremely quickly. read more

It's a very casual environment, but they make a mean pizza, even meaner salad, and a perfect Old Fashioned. They let kids color a pizza picture and put it up on the wall. We came to Creekbread during the Christmas holidays whilst skiing in Whistler. We were looking for a comfort food night and this seemed like the best option looking at all the reviews. We came promptly at 5:30 pm because we knew how busy it was (and there was also an insane blizzard that day) and we were immediately taken to a table to our surprise. However, there were already people lining up behind us. We tried three kinds of pizza and they were all scrumptious. You could tell that everything was made from scratch and super fresh. We also had a salad as well. Our server was fantastic - shame I forgot his name but he had an incredible memory and after listening to our long order, just recited everything back. He was also extremely courteous and professional. Overall, I would definitely return to this place if I had a chance! read more

Tip for take out: call as soon as they open for pick up later on - they get hella busy!! We always get a large half and half carne and veggie special. They're always good. Creekbread appears to be a tourist hot-spot. There are no reservations so make sure you have an extra 30-45 minutes to wait for a table. I've been here twice with parties of over 10 and each time we had to split into two groups. I don't necessarily mind this, but it takes away a little from the experience not being with everyone. The pizza here are good. Not great, just good. I've had a fair share of artisan pizzas and this lies somewhere in the middle of the pack. It's a bit expensive, and some parts of the crust come out completely charred. They use fresh made-in-house ingredients for most of the items on the menu which is a definite plus. Overall I'd still come here when I visit Whistler, but I don't dream of their food. read more

This place was delicious! We had to drive a little bit down from the very top of the mountain but it was a very quick trip. Parking is a little messy because there are restaurant specific spots but there is a hidden handicap spot right next to the door if you need it. I had the gluten free pizza crust and loved my dish. Our waitress was incredibly friendly. The only negative was there was a mix up with one of our pizzas (it went to another table) so my boyfriend had to wait for them to make a new one. We were able to call ahead for a reservation (within 20 minutes of when you get there) and we were glad we did...they seated us very quickly. Hard to find a classic stonefired pizza that'll beat out Creekbread. After a long day of traipsing around the Whistler area and nibbling on random snacks and partial meals, Creekbread Pizza was a perfect stop for our group of six on a Saturday night. We thankfully beat the rush hour, as we were seated immediately around 5:15 but walked past a massive line on the way out. And, we were served incredibly quickly in regards to drinks, ordering, and our actual food. Their pizzas are not only large but full of savory and tasty combinations of ingredients, and with so many possibilities for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. And you can easily do a half-and-half pizza if you're indecisive or just craving variety. Super fresh, perfectly sauced and seasoned, and the most wonderfully textured crust makes for some of the best pizza you'll ever have. We ended up with the four cheese, the community Creekbread pizza, BBQ chicken (the special for the evening), and the coevolution - almost all of which were excellent; the coevolution was a little too heavy on the kalamata olives; oh well. The basic organic salad is also worth getting, a refreshing blend of mixed greens lightly dressed with a homemade not-too-sweet raspberry vinaigrette and topped with carrots shreds and dried seaweed. Yay for leafy greens and folic acid! Service was really on top of everything; ambiance is fun and relaxing with a comfortable yet eclectic mountain lodge vibe, and prices are quite reasonable. read more

I visited recently on a family trip, and we headed on over bc of some other yelp reviews...and it did not disappoint! It happens to be in the same building as my brother-in-law's place in Creekside and we've gone there twice. The pizzas are fantastic, I love watching the big oven is being managed as they shuffle pizzas around. The wait staff is top notch well at least the ones that I've had. We went here our first night in whistler and it was awesome! We had a large pizza half pepperoni and mushroom and half the potato one! The potato was unusual and I liked it, it was very pure potato flavor. It was so good we ate the whole thing! The dough was so good, just chewy and toothsome enough, and they had HH wine for $5. Although reluctant they let me order two wines at once since it was ten minutes until end of HH. It was quite cool to watch them make the pizza in the wood fired oven. I usually never go to the same place twice on vacay but would consider it in this case! The only thing I didn't love was the strawberry cheesecake, it was a bit granular. This place seriously rocks. See this dude? Handled a table of 8 rowdy kids like a BOSS. Got them to order food and drinks without their parents input at all (we had a separate table). Give this man a raise! And don't get me started on their rockin' pizzas and salads. No joke, each pizza he suggested and another we ordered, had the perfect balance of fresh ingredients and they were all oven baked (wood fire oven!!) to the exact delicious crispiness. I love my home town pizzas in Los Angeles but these pizzas knocked the socks out of them. Our first trip to Whistler. Super awesome day (biked from Van to Whistler!) until this pizza shop. The front end person and the manager both *should* take civility training to treat customers with honesty & decency. What was experienced was deliberate lying (told the pizza would take 20-25 min but was far longer and challenged when we asked etc), patronizing responses ("how's your day going" when asked if pizza is ready at the 25 minute mark) and an intentional effort to *not* have our 4-person order put into the queue until after the 25 min mark and after we came into ask if pizza was ready. Being told "we are short staffed" is a robotic & lame excuse and a response to deflect error and responsibility. Yes, busy evening. A plus 7k event in town. So prepare and explain - instead of antagonizing clients and dismissive responces. This business changed their vm message on phone (from earlier in evening to about 2 hours later: first message invited us to leave message which we did and so legit thought our order was underway when we arrived- which we asked about 1st thing when we arrived), second message was changed to: don't leave a message. It was too late to go elsewhere. Whistler- and esp this resto, don't take the customers and tourists who pay your wages, for granted. We normally don't leave reviews - but this was so consistently rude throughout, by *two* staff, we felt compelled to post. With a manager so antagonistic (demonstrating to her staff this manner is ok) in addition to the hauty/disrespectful til clerk, & vm messaged changed the way that it did within hours: this appears to be a corporate culture failing. (they may reply - if so, only to defend and not appreciate the opportunity to vastly improve) Pizza was ok (bottoms were burnt). read more

My dad and I really enjoyed this place. We've been to Whistler 15-20 times and, unfortunately, it's a bit hard to find a quality place to eat. Many are classic tourist traps: mediocre food for relatively hefty prices after a lengthy wait. This restaurant is none of that: reasonably priced food (especially with the exchange rate to US dollars), really great pizza, and they use the NoWait app so that you don't have to wait once you get to the restaurant. (I'm a fan of that app--I've met the founder a few times and he's a nice guy.) That all being said, don't come here if you're not in the mood for pizza. Pizza is what they do. They do it very well. But it's all they do. If you are in the mood for pizza, definitely come here. They have a big, wood-fired oven that serves as a centerpiece for the restaurant. They use local, organic ingredients (they were actually out of a few different ingredients our first night, but they didn't have those issues the second time we came). And they have a pretty good beer selection. I wish we had a place like this where I now live. read more

I ate dinner at Creekbread while in Whistler for a long weekend. My friends and I had relatively high expectations based on others' reviews and personal recommendations, and Creekbread surpassed my expectations. The general milieu of the restaurant is very inviting. Large room with a modern cabin feel. Large tables / booths capable of accommodating larger parties. The menu is relatively basic (salad and pizza are the base fare), but the variety of ingredients and combinations is enough that I wanted to try almost every pizza on the menu. We chose to split 4 different pizzas and a large salad. Each was excellent in its own way. The thin crust style was paired well with just the right amount of topping / cheese / sauce ratios. The wood fires crust was thin and baked to perfection. There were several vegetarian options, which was a pleasant surprise. The ingredients (all locally sourced) were fresh and delicious. The service was excellent as well. I would highly recommend Creekbread as perhaps the best pizza I've eaten in the greater PNW area (including Vancouver, Seattle, etc). read more
