Food was delicious. Unfortunately we visited on a very hot day. The interior was sweltering bc of pizza oven and outside was not a whole lot better because the sun was still out. The water came with no ice and we had to keep asking for more and more ice. This all put a damper on our experience. Overall I'd recommend it because the food quality was quite good. Truly outstanding. Outstanding! I love Pizza and am bias to wood fired thin crust pizza so this is up my ally. However the subtlety of flavored of the crumbled sausage and fresh mushroom. The sauce, the herbs...all a huge hit for us! My 9 year old particularly commented on the herbs. My husband was not a huge fan of fresh blueberries and goat cheese on the salad but I was all over it. Honestly shocked at how bad it was. I was really looking forward to trying their pizza and was completely disappointed with it. We got take out because they had a long wait for dine in. I got the "Homemade Sausage", it didn't say it was ground sausage so I was expecting big pieces of sausage. I was thinking I was going to be getting a fair bit of vegetables on it as well and was sorely disappointed. Stayed at a condo in Creekside and our friends said this place was amazing. When we got there we could see the massive pizza oven and pizza's being slid into it. Staff in the back were twirling the pizza dough into shape so effortlessly! Smelled delicious and the pizza was excellent. Crust was nicely done and a good selection in toppings. We tried a few different types, they also do 1/2 and 1/2 of different toppings so you can try 2 different styles on 1 pizza. In a battle between Pizzeria Antico in the village and Creekbread, I'd have to say Creekbread wins when it comes to toppings but Antico wins when it comes to the crust. You can't go wrong with either. They both serve really good pizza. Our favorite here was the sausage or the margherita pizzas. read more

I'm sad to report that Creekbread, one of our family favourites has been bought by another company who clearly do not follow the "food is love" principal. We have been going to this restaurant for 10 plus years and visited this weekend and noticed something HUGE was different and lacking. The staff looked sluggish, the food was not at all the same. The regular characters who ran the show since we have been going are all gone. The food is not organic (although I don't really mind that), but the prices are still "organic" prices. They used to buy from local farmers, and the server told me that doesn't happen anymore. What a sad thing for the AMAZING staff that used to work there and the local Pemberton farmers. This is one of our go-to restaurants in whistler no matter what season or time of the year it is. Plan ahead if you're trying to eat here because 1) make a reservation if you're trying to eat here (no matter what size party you are), 2) if you're doing take out, plan ahead as they may try to schedule your time for pick up rather than when you want to get your food picked up, and 3) wood fire pizza takes time so whether you're eating in or taking out, don't plan the pizza to be made in 10-15 minutes. The best pizzas to try are the Mopsy (with Kalua Pork) and the Pemberton Potato pizza. Yes potato sounds weird on pizza but the mixture of flavors and contents on this pizza is worth trying and it's one of our favorites. Tip - add bacon to it as it makes it more flavorful and savory. Their salads are also great to try, whether you do organic or the No boundaries salad Overall don't miss out on creekbread! The pizza here is incredible. I grew up in NJ and have lived in NYC for over a decade so I've been to many, many pizza places in my day and this one is definitely up there with the best. They have quite a few unique pies on the menu and you can also pick your own toppings. The pizza is cooked in a brick oven and comes out perfectly, a little bit crispy but still easy to chew. I don't remember what they're called but I got the pie that was half potatoes/chives/bacon and half pork/pineapple and both were really delicious. I'd highly recommend stopping in here if you get the chance. read more

Really rude staff mocked me after I nicely asked a question. We were looking for a dine-in restaurant after a long day and drove to Creekbread. As we were walking in, I saw a sign that seemed to indicate they only accept take-out orders. The hostess was right there, so I thought I'd double check with her since they had a big, beautiful restaurant that was clearly open, and online info hadn't mentioned they only do take-out most evenings. I politely asked her if they only accepted take-out orders, and she said it was take-out only that evening. That's totally fine and I nicely thanked her, but then as I walked away her co-worker mocked me and yelled at me to "read the sign" as they all laughed at me. I felt that was totally uncalled for after all I did was politely ask a clarifying question since it did not indicate on Yelp or Google that they're not open for dine-in. If paying $25 for a pretty simple 12" carry-out pizza is your jam, by all means eat here. But their staff shouldn't mock customers politely asking a question. read more

I'd give this place 4.5 star if I could! There's a small patio outside and a large interior with a large pizza oven. The service was friendly and attentive. On to the food: the salad without any extra veggies or protein was okay but needed more dressing. It seems to have a light oil and vinegar but it really needed triple the amount. Some nice shredded beets and carrots and sesame seeds on top. Fairly fresh. The pizza dough/crust is just phenomenal. A bit of grit, crispy, yet chewy, this is really among the best pizza dough there is. The lumberjack daily special with bacon homemade crumbled sausage and caramelized onions was chock full of flavor and quite tasty. The creek bread veggie pizza needed a little more zing. It had cheese, local sliced mushrooms, and caramelized onions, but it just needed more salt and punch. It tasted great smothered in hot sauce and garlic oil. You can go halfsies on toppings, at least for the 16 inch. Split between two people, a salad and 16 inch pizza were just the right amount. Some local BC brews on tap, too. This is such a great restaurant! We got the half half pizza with bbq pork shoulder and the homemade sausage. The bbq pork shoulder was soooooooo good! Omg my favorite! I was not expecting this to be so delicious! It was a little sweet, with some savory in it. The sausage one was ok, not fantastic but not bad, The salad was very yummy. The dressing was sour with a hint of sweetness. You can see the open fire that heat your pizza up in the restaurant. We also got a pineapple mojito and a tapped bear.
