Honestly, 1-2 slices can easily leave you completely full. I tried the veggie pizza and the classic NY style mozzarella cheese pizza, and everything was delicious. I haven't had great pizza by the slice in forever and handlebar knew how to handle it! The service was excellent and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. They also have a patio, which is such a great spot to sit and enjoy your pizza, especially with the great music playing in the background. We're traveling with a pet and found this place on Google because it has outdoor seating. When we arrived, the restaurant was busy. I'm glad we ordered a whole pizza in advance and it was ready for pickup when we arrived. We got a half and half pizza with spicy calabrese and hawaiian. The pancetta and calabrese were both salty but the pineapple balanced the pancetta. I personally preferred the Hawaiian side. They have a nice variety of offerings that they can sell by the slice in a short amount of time. The staff was super friendly and the service was very efficient. My only slight complaint is that the slices I ordered were a tiny bit undercooked for me. I like a really crisp crust and mine had a bit of a "flop". Everyone else in my group got slices that were super crispy so I guess I was just unlucky. I'm a local and have been a customer for a while, and that was the worst interaction I've ever had with any of the staff at the establishment. I can understand that people have bad days but it should not impact your professionalism so profoundly. Since, there have been times where I have questioned whether to buy pizza from Handlebar in case I have to interact with her again; I am aware of similar instances with other patrons. On the flip side, the back of house were twice as kind as she was from behind the kitchen, they never disappoint; shout out to all the Harrys.
