My boyfriend and I were received right away which was really nice considering how busy they were. I requested a gel American manicure and pulled up a picture of what I wanted. However, the tech who was very friendly and spoke a decent amount of English did inform me that they did not have the base color for an American manicure. He did not turn on the light which was odd to me because I feel if you're going to do nails you need a good look at the nail bed and what you're doing.. anyways I walked away with a French manicure. Wasn't the worst I've seen but definitely not the best. Second time I went in I came mid day so they weren't busy at all. The guy who did my nails was different this time so I was hoping the service would be better. He also did not do as I requested. I asked specifically for a clear polish and he replied something along the lines of no clear, but pink. I bit my tongue and hoped that the color he would be using would suffice. It did not. He used the pink base coat typically used for French manicures. I do believe the language barrier played a big role in me not getting the service I wanted. For my third and final visit, it was the same guy. I asked for a French manicure this time. He asked me white tip and I was excited so I said yes. However when it came to the nail service, he did not ask me about shape, length or base color. His work is sloppy and I feel he was not trained properly. Towards the end he filed my nails leaving the dust behind without cleaning much of it off proceeded to massage my hands with the lotion. I have white gel leftover on my fingertips. He did not properly cut my cuticles off and would sometimes get too close to the healthy skin at which point I experienced pain.
