First off, made an appointment head of time for 4 girls, even said "we don't all four have to sit together." We showed up about 15 minutes before our appointment but still didn't get seated until 25 minutes after our appointment time. Oh, and by 12:45, 45 minutes after our appointment time, they hadn't even gotten started on one of the girls. She ended up just skipping out so that we didn't miss our lunch reservations. This was my first time here, found the business on Yelp based on great reviews. I usually get a gel polish manicure because the last two times I tried SNS I wasn't very impressed (done at another salon), it was either too thick or too thin which caused it to chip. Gel polish manicures usually don't last past a week with me either-I work in healthcare and constantly have to wash my hands. This time I thought I'd try the SNS with Lucy! I enjoyed my experience at this salon. The environment is great (music, friendly staff, clean). My tech, Chris, took his time to complete my fill in and even reshaped a nail that was placed on crookedly by another salon. I loved the polish and the care he took in applying. My only complaint is that after I left, at least 1 tiny bubble appeared on each nail. You can't tell until you get close on them but aside from that they were beautiful. I don't get it. I must have gotten the wrong person, she was very aggressive and I couldn't understand what she was saying. This place has high reviews but I did not have the experience they must have had. Basically I just paid to have my legs washed and my polished changed, it was 21 mins from start to finish, 5 mins of trying to force my flip flops on while my feet are still sticky from lotion rather than trying to wipe it off first bc that would be too difficult . If you want anything more than that you have to pay for another level up pedicure. The place I normally go is 20 miles one way from my house, I was hoping to find something closer. I haven't had my nails done in a long time-- back when pink and white was super popular. Now I hear SNS is all the rage, so I decided to find a salon that offered the service. After extensive research and I do mean extensive, thanks to Google and Yelp, I decided to try this salon. I didn't want my first time trying SNS to be a horror story. Yes, there are some negative ratings, but as you know, no matter how hard you try, you can't please everyone. I was not disappointed. Worst nail salon in the history of nail salons that even the police got involved. If I could give zero stars, I would. Stay clear of businesses whose values are so low. Lucy and Jeff started yelling at me because I was not fond of Lucy's work which I had asked Lucy to fix when she was doing it since she rushed my nails in 10 minutes because she was working on another client even though I never asked for her, I asked for Cindy. Lucy also told me to be grateful because she took 10 minutes away from her client to try to do my nails. Jeff yelled at me saying if she couldn't do it no one else could. I said I would pay for my pedicure done by Cindy but not my manicure because it wasn't what I had asked for and because of them literally yelling at me to the point everyone in the salon was staring and I started crying because I was so furious inside and I have never felt that way before. I am not sensitive but this is was unjust, mean, and shocking. Jeff started yelling at me that if I don't want to pay for it I needed to go ahead and sit down and they would take off it all off. I stepped outside to calm down and diffuse the situation. He then came out and yelled again saying he would call the police. The police came while I was at another nail salon down the plaza getting it fixed. The police officer was super nice and he came with me so Jeff wouldn't start yelling again. I literally only paid for my pedicure AS I HAD OFFERED TO DO BEFORE. He then tried to tell me off and that I hoped I had learned my lesson and that he was going to press charges but he forgives me. I kept my mouth shut and looked at the police officer who told him to stop and let me pay for my pedicure. I hope that no one else would go through what I did at a nail salon out of all places! Beware. Read all of the reviews because I'm not the only who has had experienced bad customer service here. Save your energy and try another place. The place is decorated from top to botton with such beauty. Warm colors on the wall, beautiful, relaxing and the best equipment you can find. I have been going to Julianne for years and she is the best. I sometimes travel and wish I could take her with me. She does a beautiful job on pink and white, gel etc. I also have my toes pamper and what a pleasure. Try Gel on your toes! You will love!! I had my nails done today by Cindy at 11AM. She rushed my pedicure and SNS nail appointment. She didn't shape my nails the way I requested and when I said something, she gave me attitude. The nail technicians do excellant work. However, I believe there is a misunderstanding about the price of services amongst the employees. I got the OPI gel service done and it looked beautiful. They said I can come back and get a color change for $5. When I came back to get a color change, I said, "it's $5, correct?" They told me no and said it is $25, even though a technician told me otherwise. This same lady who told me it was $5 was there and they asked her about it and she said she never said that. I just had my nails done. SNS powder manicure. I came here because my regular nail spa could not get me in. And my niece gets her nails done here and they always look great. I don't want to put two stars on the whole establishment. I think I just got someone who didn't really know what they were doing. I came in with a square nail much longer and said that I wanted them a little shorter but the same. Somehow the nail tech took it as I wanted some coffin shaped nail which looks hideous on me. Also I have five areas on my cuticles that are bleeding. He nicked me so hard one time that I squeezed his hand... That's how much it hurt. His name is Andy. Let me start off by saying, I love this salon because it's super cozy, has dim lighting, good music, free wifi (password: pinkandwhite), and the interior is very relaxing. The environment of a salon is a huge factor for me when picking out a place to spend my pay check! I want to feel comfortable and relaxed. I am so happy with my manicure by Sean! I asked for a "SNS manicure with tips." They don't charge extra for tips, which I was excited about. Most places charge $5 more for tip add ons. Sean was super accommodating and listened to exactly what I wanted. I like getting tips (the fake nails) because I bite my nails and I hate my natural shape. Although I like tips, I always want them to be very short and natural looking. A lot of the time technicians will try to talk you out of it or comment on you asking them to keep filing because it's "too short," but he did everything I asked without question. He spoke excellent English and explained exactly what SNS was (organic natural gel filled with vitamins for your nails) (100x better for you then normal gel and only $5 more!!) Jeff and Jo Jo are the best, I travel across town to go to them. Was very excited to try out this place as it had a higher rating than many other nail salons. Myself and 3 friends made reservations that morning and arrived 15 minutes early. After waiting a good while only 3 of the 4 were able to be taken back for pedicures. I volunteered to wait hoping I would start a few minutes after my friends, 45 minutes later I still was waiting on my pedicure. My friends were almost done and I declined to have my pedicure. It was definitely not a great experience. I received a pedicure and manicure. The technician was pleasant; however, she was rushing and smeared my toes and nails several times during the painting process. While I was receiving my manicure, she didn't know how to shape my nails. I had to take the filer and so it myself. Also, I guess they do not use cuticle oil for manicures. She insisted that they only use that for other nail services ( i.e., acrylic, gel). Cuticles were not done properly. She didn't tell me to wash my hands after filing and buffing to remove the residue. Afterwards she applied the nail polish. My cuticles looked awful. I advise get to remove the nail polish since she kept on smearing my nails with her hands. They ended up charging me for a portion of the manicure, which I thought was poor service. What really surprised me was that they were aware this was my first time at their salon. They obviously did not care about keeping me as as a client. I honestly recommend Wilshire nails in Metrowest. You have to make an appointment but it's well worth it. Their perfectionist when it comes to nail art and service. read more

I have been going to this nail place for well over a year now, and as of Oct 14th, 2017 I will no longer be going here. My usual tech is Jeff, I always call to make an appointment, as I did this time, when I arrived on Saturday they informed me Jeff was off that day, and there would be a 2 hour wait, they called Jeff and he apologized, but said he is always off on Sat, and he doesnt know who made the appointment. I told him that they needed to be done as I had an event I was attending later that afternoon, he kept asking me to come later and I could not. The gentleman behind the counter just kept telling me I could wait for the 2 hours, there was nothing he could do, I asked if he could set me up with the next tech that was free and his answer was he doesnt know who will be free next, that did not answer the question I asked him, he just kept apologizing and telling me there was nothing he could do. I work in customer service, and this is not what you do to a regular customer or any customer for that matter, when you screw up a schedule. What they should of done was fit me in with the next tech, but instead Jeff lost me as a customer, I found another place that did my nails and they turned out great, so this place won my vote, I will be going back. read more

I have been to this nail salon twice now and I have nothing but good things to say about it! I get a regular pedicure and gel manicure and both are great quality and last long. The employees are very nice and accommodating. Both times I've been, I was in a rush and had limited time. Both times they were very understanding and got me in and out in time!
