This was very much needed! Everyone that I came across was amazing! Emmanuel at the front desk and cia ( I know I'm probably spelling her name wrong ) were the ones that helped the most and made everything so smooth! I've tried most of the therapists that have worked at this location. Phones are a major issue. Most, if not all of my therapists had their personal phone in the room with them. How do I know this? I either saw it will my own eyes or heard it go off......multiple times. Most of the time they would apologize then break away from the massage to address their phone. I don't think they realize the optics of this nor do they see the blatant disrespect for their clients. I'm sure this isn't happening (at least I hope) but having their phone in the room is concerning.....they have a camera and a way to record you in the room. Overall the massages I have received have rarely addressed my areas of concern. I understand every therapist has their own style, however, I've never been to a massage establishment that all the therapists had the SAME style. I do not enjoy a knot repeatably being rammed over; I am pretty specific in that request since they all do it at this location but, it still happens. By the way, I am a massage therapist and I have NEVER been taught this technique, I am not sure why they all use this ineffective technique as it tends to make the client tense up defeating the purpose of the massage. Typically deep tissue techniques are slow and controlled as it allows the tissue to soften allowing you deeper into the tissue. I think most people think No Pain No gain......which is Not true in massage. read more

The wife purchase the BOGO deal in which we receive half off of our message. I was greeted and given a deep tissue message by Layla G. Definitely helped me out a lot, as I am constantly lifting heavy objects, working out and training my kids in sports. Would highly recommend her and commend her for how great I felt leaving. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. This is my second massage here. My 1st was a BOGO deal I originally bought my fiancé for Christmas. Luckily he gave me the second one and that day I signed up for a membership. They are always able to accomodate me with my schedule. When this location opened, I took part of a first time client special and my massage was overall okay. Some time had passed since my initial service so I received a voicemail offering me back for the same $49 special. The voicemail did not mention "limited time offer" or any instructions telling me I needed to call back within a certain number of days. Life is busy so 14 days later, I call back excited to take part of the $49 special. I was quickly rejected and given attitude by the receptionist who advised me it was only valid for 5 days. I politely reminded her that I was not told of any timeframe that this would only be valid and asked for reconsideration only to be quickly dismissed again. Since then, I have sent email to the location asking for them to honor the discounted welcome back offer since I was not properly advised. No reply. I was patient and waited a week for reply from management. So I sent the email again, letting them know this was my second attempt. Still no reply. Clearly this place doesn't care about doing right for their customers. I don't think I'm asking anything unreasonable-- I'm simply asking to take part of the offer THEY extended me in the first place. I'll happily take my business elsewhere to a company that respects me and will actually reply when I inquire. read more

We bought the intro rate to give this place a try. My husband had an ok massage. I later had a reasonable facial. The facial tech was really nice but the smell of the water/face cloths that were used was off putting. All of this might have been ok but I just had a surprising and uncompassionate experience after the hurricane. OCPS continues to be closed so without childcare, I had to cancel. I had wrongly assumed that massageluxe had continued to be closed due to hurricane so I didn't even think to call on Sunday. I had an appt this Monday morning at 9am - posted opening time. Since my appointment was for opening, I knew my call me would go to voicemail if I called too early. So when I got a reminder text at 7:06 a.m., I went ahead and gave them a call in the off chance that someone was there. Of course, there wasn't and I left a message with my very reasonable explanation. An employee soon called me back to inform me that he was going to have to charge me anyway because I called them the two hour window (7:10 vs 9:00). I understand that is policy, but we just had a hurricane and our lives have not returned to normal. I guess policy is policy, even in a disaster. I'm just super glad I did not become a member. If this is how they treat someone, they're trying to woo, I don't know how they would treat people already signed up. read more
