In hindsight, I wish I would've coughed up the money to go somewhere I was familiar with because in this case- I got what I paid for. My appointment was at 12:15. I walked in right on time. The space is VERY small. Two pedicure chairs and one manicure station shoved behind them. There was one employee giving a pedicure to another client. She asked if I had an appointment and I said yes, for a gel mani-pedi. "Oh, gel?" she says. I confirm. She instructs me to pick out my color- I had a choice of only about 12. She moves the client over to the manicure station and tells me to sit in the pedicure chair. To my disGUST and disMAY, I am putting my feet into a BUCKET lined with a garbage bag. You read that right. If you think I'm lying, take a look at my photo attached. (I also threw in a photo of the messy, disgusting work space for your enjoyment) I did not see her change the garbage bag between me and the client before me. Now I'm gagging. The employee tells me to put my feet into the bucket of water and goes to the manicure station with the other client. Ten minutes go by. I decide to turn on the massage chair to entertainment myself while I wait (I've now realized she is the ONLY employee working here). Of course, the massage chair does not work. Twenty minutes go by. I take my feet out of the now lukewarm water because they are pruning. THIRTY MINUTES go by and I ask her how much longer it will be because I have to go to work after this. She says not long. I inform her it's been a half hour since my appointment time. She looks at me like an idiot and says "I'll be right with you." Now I'm fuming. Five minutes later, the other client leaves and she comes over to do my pedicure. She asks what color I would like and I tell her the one that I chose (duh). She says that only the manicure is gel. IF I HADNT PRE-PAID I WOULD HAVE WALKED OUT I WAS SO ANGRY. I pull up my phone and show her the groupon that clearly advertises differently. (I've also attached a screenshot of that groupon special) She says "I told her to tell people when they call and book but I'll make an exception." How generous of her to give me what I paid for. Now let's talk about sanitation some more. I watched this woman use tools on my feet and then immediately throw them into what looked like a small white crayon box of other tools. To top it all off, she put my feet into the UV lamp for the gel polish then I watched her transfer that same UV lamp to the manicure table for my hands without ever being sanitized. She finishes my pedi and mani in silence and I left. I WILL NEVER EVER RETURN TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT AND WILL BE REPORTING IT TO GROUPON AND THE FLORIDA BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.
