It's easy to get lost but once you find the spa the beauty continues into this Italian country side vibe. The facial was amazing! , Jessica was so kind and informative of what my facial would entail and what results I would see right after. The room was comfortable and I didn't feel rushed at all. My skin was glowing! And if you are a relaxation room girly like I am, these rooms are 10/10 and snacks are available to join your post champagne chill. Yelp Review I rarely…read morewrite negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share this experience because I don't want another guest, especially another woman of color, to leave feeling the way I did. I originally booked this appointment after attending Bella Collina's Girls' Night Out event. The event itself was wonderful, and the spa offered special pricing if services were booked that evening. My mom and I both booked treatments, so I was genuinely looking forward to this visit. Instead, I experienced one disappointment after another. From the moment I called for directions after my GPS brought me through the wrong entrance, the tone of the interaction felt cold and unwelcoming. When I arrived, I immediately noticed the difference between Bella Collina and other luxury spas I have visited. There was no warm greeting, no orientation to the facilities, and no one escorting guests from place to place. I was simply pointed toward the locker room and later told where to go for my treatment. Those details may seem small, but they are exactly what separates true luxury hospitality from an average spa. The interaction with my massage therapist made me especially uncomfortable. She asked whether I wanted the complimentary scalp massage. I explained that I was wearing a wig and would prefer not to have it. Instead of accepting my answer, she continued asking me the same question multiple times. As a Black woman, that exchange felt deeply uncomfortable. Black women wear wigs and other protective styles for many reasons, and I have never before had someone fixate on my hairstyle during a spa treatment. Whether intentional or not, the repeated questioning demonstrated a lack of cultural competence and left me feeling othered rather than cared for. The massage itself was unfortunately the worst I have ever had. Instead of relaxing, I became increasingly tense. I found myself asking to stretch throughout the session because my muscles actually felt tighter as the massage continued. That has never happened to me before. The facial was excellent, and I want to acknowledge that. My esthetician was knowledgeable, professional, and gave me thoughtful advice about my skincare goals. She was the highlight of my visit. Unfortunately, the problems continued afterward. I asked if I could pay before changing into my swimsuit so I could enjoy the spa pool, but I was told no because someone would have to walk me outside. After changing, I returned wearing my swimsuit underneath the spa robe and was immediately told I could not wear the robe outside. At that point, it felt like every interaction centered around another rule or another correction. Instead of feeling welcomed or accommodated, I felt policed. Hospitality should make guests feel comfortable, not constantly worried that they are doing something wrong. Eventually, I decided to leave instead of using the pool because I simply did not feel welcome anymore. The most disappointing part of this experience was not just the poor massage or the lack of luxury service. It was leaving feeling that the staff lacked the cultural awareness necessary to make every guest feel respected and included. That feeling stayed with me long after I left. Bella Collina markets itself as a luxury destination. Luxury is not just beautiful buildings or expensive treatments. Luxury is exceptional hospitality, thoughtful service, and making every guest feel comfortable and valued. Sadly, that was not my experience.

I booked the Allora Signature package and spent the entire day relaxing and enjoying every service. Next time in town, I will definitely book another Allora spa day. The only change that would have made my experience better is if I did not have to leave the room. Between services, you exit the room and sit in a chair located in a small hallway until the next service. It would've been better and more relaxing, as the client, to stay in the room for all services. Understandably, the spa is small and they do their best to ensure comfort despite the necessary merry go round. This is NOT a deterrent from returning by any means but it did catch me off guard. Gratuity is added and given to an each team member. My appointment was scheduled over the phone which allowed me to customize a service included in the package. A deposit is required at booking and the remaining balance after appointment.

They ask you to arrive 20 minutes early, but there's no reason to: no tour, no walkthrough of the services, no robe, no changing room offered, no one even pointed out the restroom. I was handed a drink and told to "go down the hall, take a right" to the tea room. No escort at a supposed luxury spa. My 90-minute massage started 5 minutes late and ended 13 minutes early. I paid for 90 minutes and received 72. Back in the tea room, another guest's child was playing in the candy, the fountain, and the drinking water while I waited another 10 minutes past my scheduled time. The facial was not the anti-aging facial described just basic rubbing and dermaplaning, delivered after I could hear staff gossiping in the lobby. The "hand and foot treatment" was a dry rub with exfoliation gloves before strapping on lotion-filled gloves and booties. The scalp massage was so perfunctory I asked the technician to stop and end the service early. It felt like they were padding out the clock to make up for time shaved off everything else. Think Massage Envy at triple+ the price. If you're considering the top-tier package here, don't. There is nothing signature or luxury about it.

I bruised my foot last week and missed two days of work as it was too painful to walk. Yesterday I got out early and called the clinic to see who had a spot for an 80 minute massage. She worked on my feet too, avoiding the injured area. Her massage relieved so much inflammation that I feel incredible today. Thank you Emma! Turns out, they offer so much that I can't see myself ever having to search again. To top it all off, Carolina and her team are so welcoming and friendly at each visit that I also found new friends. It's always nice when you enjoy the conversation as well as the services. Mani/pedi: I've had both Carolina and Teresa. Both girls are amazing and pay so much attention to detail. I have terrible cuticles and they were quick to offer a scrub solution and thorough shaping of nails and cuticles before perfectly applying the polish. They even have some cool color changing gel polishes that are a fun bonus. Massage: Lauren is phenomenal. She listens to where you hold your stress and goes to work on those areas with precision. Both massages have left me feeling like a completely new person. I've had many massages in my life, but few have fully carried me into the next week still feeling the knots worked out. And this is just after a few visits! I can't imagine how I'll feel after a few months. Overall: Indigo is a hidden gem in Summerport - I'm actually nervous to write a review because I want to keep it to myself! It's obvious that the spa is much more than a job to anyone who works there. The membership is steal too - $99 for a mani/pedi and a massage or $149 for a mani/pedi, massage and facial. Check it out!
