Their website explains how each greeting card begins with a print, and then the artisan threads strips of Japanese kishu paper into a tight coil that is then molded into the desired shape and glued. Each card takes about one hour to make! I first purchased these quilled cards several months ago in a museum gift shop, and recently I made my second purchase directly through the company's website. Many of the greeting cards had designs of nature, such as animals and flowers. Other cards were for special occasions, such as birthdays and holidays. Customers can even order customized cards as well as quilled earrings, ornaments, and wall art. I bought cards for birthdays, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. The company shipped my package on the same day as my order, and the package took three days to arrive at my home. The greeting cards look beautiful, and I feel eager to share them with my family and friends. Prices were several dollars per card, but after looking at the craftmanship of these cards, I think that the prices were worth it.
