The helpful & friendly staff told me the deadline for Christmas projects needing to be sent out to the shop's finisher for stuffing & cording was August. I brought the project to the shop in May 2023 for finishing-- three months before their August deadline. They accepted my deposit & assured me it would be completed well before Christmas 2023. Beginning in October, I called & emailed the shop regularly to inquire about the ornament. Several times I had to send multiple emails before they responded. When they did, they told me they were "still waiting for the finisher." I reminded them it was intended to be a Christmas gift, yet they never displayed any sense of urgency. They indicated they had no way of tracking the project or knowing when it might be finished, only that they "hoped it would be soon" as if it was not their problem or concern. Christmas 2023 came and went, yet still no ornament. It did not arrive back at the shop until mid-January 2024--nearly eight months after I brought it to them for finishing. Although they discounted the finishing price by 10%, no one from the shop ever apologized that the ornament was not completed until long after the promised timeframe. A terribly disappointing service experience.

The store owner is absolutely a pleasure to have met! and you can tell that all the items purchased for the store reflect her love of entertaining. Stationery of all sorts - greeting cards, note cards, journals, letter writing sets, themed notepads, etc. My goodness, the selection of paperware alone is quite impressive. What I am saying is if you are having a party and wish to have quality paper plates, napkins, and décor this is the spot to start. They have helium tanks here and a HUGE array of any occasion party balloons. If you follow me you already know that I have a 'thing' for gift baskets... whether it is for a Housewarming, "Thank you' to a client, friend or employee. I only wish I lived closer because this store had EVERYTHING all in one location - higher-end body products, unique regional souvenirs, sturdy creative artwork gift bags, toys for children, candles that are known to have that lingering scent, gorgeous tumblers both ceramic and stainless steel. The culinary treats section is plentiful as well, and at the risk of repeating myself, I'll say it again great store for putting together gift baskets!
