What a delightful stationery shop! I'd heard about it numerous times, so when the opportunity to visit came up on a recent trip to Boston, I had to go. Pens, paper, ink, fun accessories everywhere! Even the young associate was awesome! If I had had extra funds and more luggage space, I could have gotten into so much trouble! While I know I can order from their online store, I can't wait to visit in person again

Oh yes I DID! - A wooden table holds various stationery items like notebooks, pens, and gift bags in a shop setting, with shelves of greeting cards and artwork in the background.

Another stationary store on my #stationaryshopcrawl from the summer and loved it so I went back in November. You have GOT to come browse this delightful location that has all the gifts you might want for that letter writer and/or pen pal in your life. Note pads, fountain pens, ink, washi-tape etc. I had called beforehand to see about some items in particular and the customer service was impeccable. Respectfully Reviewed.

As a stationery fanatic, I was so happy to find out that there was a Traveler's Company partner shop in Boston (IYKYK). I came here on a work trip so I made sure to visit when I had time. I got some cute some postcards to send out to pen pals and got a bunch of stickers for myself as well. I spoke to the owner for what felt like hours on fountain pens because I am in the market to buy my very first one. She let me test a bunch of them and was very sweet/knowledgeable. Felt bad that I didn't buy 1 single fountain pen but it was an overwhelming and I didn't want to rush into anything. Definitely will come back to support the local business!

An impressive collection of washi tape and animal shaped paper clips!

The Paper Mouse is an absolutely delightful shop settled right in West Newton. They have every stationary item you could think of and more. The shop boasts an impressive collection of pens (most of which you can test out), the pens range from low prices all the way to high end items. I personally picked up a few build your own pens by Cocorio. They also have an excellent range of notebooks with the student, artist and bullet journaler in mind. In addition, the shop has watercolors, inks, and washi tapes. I can't wait to go visit them again and I definitely recommend checking them out even if it's a bit of a drive. The owner is very kind and knowledgeable; he talked to me for some time about different products and made a few recommendations. I hope to try out one of the art classes that they offer soon!

This is the cutest store ever!!! It's a great place to buy cards, gifts, and little trinkets, and the staff are so friendly! The cards are all so beautiful, and you can see the time and effort put into each one. Some of the items are a little pricey, but I think they are worth the added cost. Check this place out!

It's conveniently located in the heart of the Square near Savino's, Ovenbird, and the Spirited Gourmet, my other favorite neighbor businesses. Curate is a bright little shop with a variety of classy and fun gifts, stationary, and home items that change with the seasons. I usually pop in to buy a card and a chat with the owner. I've found gifts for hosts, housewarmings, and occasions in between. I especially like their candle selection, many of which are soy based. They carry amazing scents from a small business in Rhode Island, with candles and lotions that smell exactly like the seashore. After a cousin fell in love with one of them, I bought a bagful at the end of the season clearance to treat relatives to a scent party. They also carry British Christmas crackers when in season (like now!). These are so hard to find! The crackers (beautiful wrapped cylinders that pop open when pulled to reveal little gifts) delighted my family when I brought them to our holiday gatherings last year. (Note that crackers contain a tiny amount of gunpowder and technically can't go on a flight, something I had tried before...!) Curate's products tend towards the classy side with mid to higher prices to match. Sometimes I just go to poke around and see what's new. They have some baby gifts and customized items for Belmont and Watertown, but if you want a wider selection, I would go elsewhere. The owner has also kindly offered to order things that I couldn't find directly in the shop, but I haven't tried that option yet.

As the name implies, the store's speciality is olive oil, and you can sample a wide variety of oils and vinegars. If that's not your forte, don't worry because the store has plenty more to offer. I spent a long time just browsing the store because it's beautifully arranged. Even though it's fairly small, they make good use of the space. You can get locally made ice cream and honey, as well as kitchenware imported from all over the world. I found a very cute Christmas gift for my mom. There also sell cheeses, spices, teas, hot sauces - a lot more than I can list. Easily accessible whether you're driving or using public transit. There's street parking in many places along Beacon Street and the shop is right next to the Summit Avenue stop on the C branch of the Green Line.
