Wonderfully nice people, however my experience with this business was not very pleasant.
I dropped off a few suits mid July to get altered - and was greeted by a very pleasant woman who took my measurements and a few notes on how I typically wear my suits. I was told it would take about 3 weeks before I would be able to pick up the suits.
Fast forward a few weeks and I picked up my suits (without trying them on - big mistake on my part) on the date that was originally promised. I took them to a business trip two days after picking them up, and that's when I first noticed that the alterations were not done very well. Specifically one arm was longer than the other, one of the jackets was taken in more than the others, and the hem on the pants was not completed. Luckily I brought one of my other suits with me so I was able to wear that for my trip, but had I not brought that I would've been in a tough spot.
I brought the suits back shortly after returning - and the staff immediately apologized for the errors and promised to make it right. I understand mistakes happen, and having paid for the alterations prior to trying on the work I agreed to have them make the necessary changes. Again, the people here are extremely nice - however as you'll read momentarily this is where the customer service takes a turn for the worst. At the time of dropping off the suits (for a second time), I was given another 3 week turnaround.
On the day that my suits were supposed to be ready, I received a call saying that it will be a few more days - which was completely fine as I was more concerned about the quality of work vs. a quick turnaround time. I proceeded to come back two weeks after (now 17 days after they said it would be done) and the suits were still not ready. The staff asked that I return the next day as she had to make a few more changes. I then dropped in the next morning and much to my dismay - I was told they were still not ready - and I noticed that the staff was working on a completely different garment. Given the fact that the shop had my clothing for roughly 9~ weeks at this point i would've expected for the staff to have prioritize my order to make it right.
Finally that afternoon I received a call that my suits were ready to go.. I can't stress this enough, the staff is very kind and I really really wanted them to be my go to alteration shop - however with this sort of service, I will not be returning and will not recommend this place to my family or friends. read more
