Not only was the deadline missed, but I received multiple calls pushing the completion date further and further back; first to Thursday, then to Friday at 3 PM. When I arrived on Saturday afternoon to finally pick up my coat, it wasn't just unfinished, it was actively being worked on, despite all the promised deadlines. I was told it would be ready in 30 minutes. Out of courtesy, I gave them an hour and a half. When I returned, the coat was still not finished. I left frustrated, only to receive a call moments later saying it was suddenly done. This experience showed a lack of professionalism, reliability, and respect for customers' time. A straightforward repair turned into days of shifting promises and unnecessary inconvenience. I cannot recommend Elsa's Alterations based on this experience and will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

I returned and they needed additional time, seemingly quickly sewing the whole front in place so that the buttons were unusable. When I complained she first stated that my request was impossible (but never called to discuss this,) then changed her story to say that this over -the-head sweater mode (which now made the sweater completely unusable with a dress,) was what I had initially requested. At home I did the work myself, so obviously her "expertise" was a sham. Now calling the Better Business Bureau to obtain my money back.

The first time I went in I was treated extremely rudely and made to feel like I was a nuisance. I chalked it up to someone having a bad day. When I returned to collect my item, I was treated equally bad. I did nothing to provoke this treatment either time (except walk in the door.) Frankly I am not sure how they stay in business. I expected the dress needed to be hemmed, and taken in at the darts on the bust. It's a strapless number, so it needs to fit well in the bust department! She told me the bust would have to be altered significantly because the dress was designed for someone with more waist and less bust than me. Ha. After much pinning and discussion, I agreed, although I was uncertain what the outcome (or price!) would be. When I picked the dress up, it fit fabulously. The hem was nice, and I felt way more comfortable in the strapless dress than before they made the alterations. And it only cost $85. I was very surprised. The last time I remember getting a dress altered, it was almost the cost of the dress! I'll definitely be using Alteration Solutions again.

Found out today that they are *closed Sunday-Tuesday*, but only after I drove over and was standing outside their door. Would recommend that they at least put a sign up on their door with their adjusted days/hours of being open, especially since I'm sure they want folks' business. That being said, the owner of the shop is the sweetest little lady and does very good quality work. She has advised me several times on what makes most sense with altering clothing and I'm always happy with the end result. It's a little pricey, but worth it if you really love the clothing piece and want to make it last a long time/look like it was made for you. They often have a cute little dog in the shop. For those wondering, I was told they're open Wednesday-Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm.

Items always returned when promised, and always charged what we are quoted. We live 45 minutes away, but travel past here often. We are sure to visit here for all our alteration needs.
