I first found this Ogden Blinds, but it is not a normal store, instead is a house address, suspicious already. Then I called the other certified vendor, who is VERY nice and patient, but they are further away from me. So I called this Ogden Blinds as this is the only option now. In a short 2 minutes call, Kurt already showed his disrespectful and impatience to customers. He thought me, as the first time customer, should already know how this home based business should run in terms of transaction details. Had to swallow his attitude as this is now the only option. Then, later, during couple text messages regarding how to drop off and payment etc., he remained arrogant, to the point he left a voice message with very abusive language. As a person and customer, if one wants to experience what a miserable customer service attitude is in this modern world, this would be a textbook example. Regardless of who was responsible, I was told, "No problem. They'll get back to you," and that it should take about a week to resolve. Since then, I have left several messages with both Customer Care and Penrod Installation, and no one has returned my calls. I even reached out to the consultant I have worked with for five years because I thought she might be able to help. Unfortunately, the response essentially amounted to, "They don't answer before 8 a.m." I am shocked and beyond disappointed by the lack of professionalism and, more importantly, the apparent lack of concern for a loyal, longtime customer. After five years of doing business with the company and spending a considerable amount of money, I expected much better follow-through and customer service. Mistakes happen--that's understandable. What is unacceptable is being left without communication or a clear resolution. A loyal and consistent customer should matter even after the sale is complete.
