They have a great selection of 3rd party juices and hardware, computerized inventory on an iPad that helps you search by flavor, knowledgeable, friendly staff, and even great deals on kratom! Very modern, clean facility, not like a lot of these bodega-looking vape stores. This is my new neighborhood vape shop for East Riverside. ***The Downhill Slide of a Former Legacy Customer*** I have been coming to this shop for nearly 7 years, back when it was a cool, knowledgeable, vape-only store with an unprecedented juice selection. Sadly, under constant management changes, this place has completely lost its identity and its respect for loyal customers. **The Good Old Days:** Years ago, the original team was incredible. I remember the guy with the gauges in his ears who knew my face and my roommate's face the second we walked in. It felt like a community, and they actually knew their products. My roommate and I on any given day would dump sometimes hundreds of dollars into the store. **The Decline:** Then came the pivot to CBD and Kratom, the gutting of the vape juice selection, and the arrival of completely clueless staff. A while back, I went in with a technical question about my mod. The new staff was so untrained they literally told me to go to *Vape City on Guad* because they couldn't help me. Imagine a business sending its own customers to the competition! **The Breaking Point:** To top it off, they recently upgraded their account system and completely wiped out the old database. That means years of accumulated loyalty points? Gone. But yesterday was the final straw. I had a chaotic 48 hours and ended up needing to use my legally valid temporary paper ID (the official printout you use with your expired license while waiting for the new one in the mail... if cops accept it as valid why can't the vape store?!?). The new clerk refused to sell to me because she "didn't recognize me" and couldn't find my phone number in their wiped system. Here is the kicker: **The police accepted my ID as 100% valid two nights ago, but this vape shop wouldn't.** I explained the law to her, but she refused to budge or show any critical thinking. Has no one working here ever renewed a Texas license online before? Unless the ownership sees this, reaches out with an apology, and promises to actually train their staff to be less ill-witted, I will never spend another dime here. I really like this store, I visit pretty often, at least once a week. The employees are all incredibly knowledgeable and kind. I'm writing this review because I had a bad experience with an employee for the first time. I think they are new, super bright colored hair. Literally was so rude to me despite me being polite and nice. Didn't respond to half the things I said. Didn't respond when I said thank you or goodbye. Leah went above and beyond. My tank malfunctioned after trying out a new battery; the store comped me a new tank to replace the fried one. Leah remade both juices I had purchased the week before, so the nicotine level wouldn't be too high with my new rig. And then even took a few minutes after she'd clocked out to help me get my new purchases ready. This place is very clean, very well organized, top notch juices, top no5ch customer service. They have awesome hours and I'm glad to see they're even open on Sundays. Update 4 months later: This is still my go to shop and I back what I said before. But now over four months later the staff still finds ways to go above way above. Simona especially took a lot of time a few months ago to help me fix a device and teach me more about how to properly build. Chad again did this a few months later after I continued having terrible experiences with my vape devices. Chad and Simona will definitely keep me coming to this place! I work at a computer shop that lives off yelp reviews. Which has resulted in me rarely giving 5 star reviews. I always hold back 1/2 a star to reserve for differentiating between a great, wonderful experience and then a one of a kind experience. But Xavier, Kate, Chad and Simone have all been amazing each time I've been there and this is a 5 star place! They're beyond helpful and knowledgeable. I'm still a newbie at vaping and they helped me learn so much in just a quick amount of time. The selection of all things vape that they have is second to none in Austin. Great policies as well. If you don't like the v-juice you got then they'll fix it right back up for you! Again..... the stock of gear they have is incredible. They also have 1 oz. kratom in every strain for $10 and CBD oil. Well after my experience with the Palmer store. It has been a week after getting my replacement from Aaron. Every small detail problem I have been addressed by the friendly staff. The replace any defects and make sure that you are taken care of. I took my little brother who had his intial kit from the Palmer office with the same problem of not working replaced totally close to free. They also gave me juice since the Palmer store wanted to make up for the problems I had. The told me rather then make a trip we are going to do it for you now. Now that's customer service. They have always been friendly and are worried about your health and get you off the cigarette habit. read more

Don't waste your money. All their esmokes are knockoff joytec ego brand and won't last a month. On top of that they cost way more than the real thing online. Research the brands before you waste your money. Also, find somewhere without a new 19 year old employee mixing their juice weekly. Its terribly inconsistent and most of the time not good. This review is about Miranda. My boyfriend and I stopped coming here about six months ago when we found another place to buy him his juice. He's a regular, and knows everyone here, loves seeing everyone. However, we stopped coming because of Miranda's shitty attitude. She constantly ignores us, even if she's the only employee on the floor. When she does finally help us: she's condescending, rude, and won't even make eye contact. Today, we decided to trek through pouring rain to come back in the hopes that maybe some of his favourite people would be there (other regulars and people like Ned who are awesome). Instead we were greeted by-I'm sorry-NOT greeted by a Miranda sitting on her phone. He saw one of his friends there, said hi real quick and we walk over toward the computer and area where his juice are located. She never ONCE looked up, even when he said "I need this juice." Instead, she slowly got up STILL TEXTING on her phone and stood there before finally walking slowly to the area, grabbing the juice and handing it to Ned (who had walked out after she got up, and who, by the way, DID greet us very nicely). She never responded, never looked at us. I watched her go back to her seat where she finally made eye contact with me, then rudely asked, "Um can I help you?" I responded, "I thought it was very rude you sat there on your phone instead of helping us." She said, "well I figured since he's a regular, it doesn't matter." I'm very disappointed in the service received today, and if I come back and see her as the employee on the floor, I will not even come inside. I will waste my gas and time to go find another place over being "served" by her. Probably be quicker to go somewhere else anyway. I love the vibe that Ned brings to the store, he's always happy and friendly. However, Miranda is miserable, and it overpowers that fun, happy feeling, and makes us not want to come back and to not recommend this location to anyone I know. read more

Getting quality product from this place is hugely hit or miss. The biggest problem is that the staff isn't on the same page. Some of their folks provide excellent service, others seem like dealing with you is an inconvenience. I've held off writing a review because they're literally right down the street from me, however after my last couple visits I really couldn't avoid this. First thing that threw me off from buying new liquid was the fact that one of the people behind the counter was rocking a surgical mask - no idea why, but that kinda thing, in an environment where you're mixing a liquid I'm going to be inhaling is a huge mistake - imagine someone working the line in a restaurant with an open kitchen rocking one, during flu season; are you going to eat the food? I wouldn't, and I opted to not buy any liquid from them this time either. Second thing: I went in looking for a specific wick for my tank. I explained what I wanted and why I wanted it. Only to be told that I was wrong, and that I should actually be getting something else. This just pissed me off, I was getting the wick that someone had suggested on my last visit and it worked really well, now someone different was telling me something else. When I mentioned that I had a fixed voltage battery and variable voltage battery, this seemed to kinda confuse the associate. She tried to express something to justify her suggestion which basically came out like "well since you can change the fixed voltage" and I stopped listening to anything she said after that: it was a complete failure to provide the customer with what they were looking for and a major failure to grasp what I was asking for. Third - their eliquid is like getting a burrito from Moe's: it's the same ingredients (you assume) but it never really tastes the same. It can range from the subllme, to the absolutely disgusting. I've only had one of their "house" blends, and it was really good, however, when I got a refill, it tasted like burnt hair. I brought it back to the store. They stated that my wicks were the problem (despite having used the liquid without issue for two weeks) and swapped it for another one - same problem. They then stated that they "must have made it differently" this week, and then went so far as to say that Kangertec tank and coil couldn't handle dark e-liquids correctly. Despite the waste of about an hour of my time, and theirs, they did give me a 30ml bottle of something else gratis, which was nice. However, the associates often act like custom blends are a burden - however, what's the point in having all those flavors and specifically having the ability to do custom flavors, if you're going to make the client feel uncomfortable asking for it. Plus, the most recent blend of this liquid that I got tasted like complete garbage Fourth is their hardware quality. I used to order all my wicks online, and I never had problems with them. Since I started purchasing them from this store, it feels like I need to bring back every other wick I purchase due to some kind of problem, its ridiculous. Furthermore, all their replacement wicks come from cabinet that you can't see. It seems like they have 3 or 4 different suppliers of parts, and are generally completely unable to provide replacement parts from the same manufacturer. The end result is you have no idea who is making your wick, in my case I never know if its Kanger or some other company. Product doesn't appear to be packaged - generally they just seem to fish out a wick: sometimes individually wrapped, sometimes just hanging out on its own. Not gonna lie, it seems very strange when its happening. The biggest issue I have is that everyone who works there seems to have their own opinion on what you need. Some of them are absolutely awesome, others are just terrible. I'm going to pay a bit more money and drive a few more miles in the future and go a different shop in the future where they have the products I need, and sell them in a way that I don't feel like I'm getting different information every time I'm there. I guess it comes down to this: I have to give them two stars because sometimes there have been some absolutely great experiences. However, there have been just too many poor and terrible ones to give them a better rating, or give them my business in the future. read more

I've had my e-cig for about a week and a half now. I had a lot of problems with it initially, but they have turned out to be user error. The store manager actually sat down with me and discussed the different things I could be doing that would contribute to a leaky tank. When I first returned to the store with problems, I demanded a new tank, because I knew I hadn't made any mistakes. Well, an hour later I was having the same problems with a brand new tank, so I had to go back in and eat a bit of crow. They have a great selection at the store, and most of the employees I have dealt with have been very understanding about how many flavors I want to try each time I go in. When I make a poor decision, they are also gracious enough to swap it out for me. The only reason I am giving less than 5 stars has to do with the website and the lack of education I was given initially. I could have saved myself a bit of time and frustration if the salesperson that sold me my startup kit had walked me through some of the things that can go wrong with it. The website appears to have not been updated in awhile, as I cannot find the kit that I purchased, or several other things I have found in the store. Some of the accessories are also wildly overpriced. $10 is waaaay too much for a little stand to keep it upright, and If I had known my e cig wouldn't hang upright from the lanyard I purchased, I wouldn't have spent $8 on it. These are all pretty small gripes compared to the fact that I am down to 3 analogs a day (and shrinking) vs my 2 pack a day habit prior to getting the set up. read more

Got it home and it didn't work. I figured it was probably not a good product so I didn't want another of the same. Okay. I'm new to this whole "vapor" world but I'm pretty sure that your battery charger is NOT suppose to break the first week you get your kit. I was a pack a day smoker trying to quit. Like I said, I'm new to this so someone tell me why the dude sold me a tank that was clearly NOT for beginners (I also got told this once I went to a different vape shop) nor did they show me how to properly use the new kit I had just spent over 150 dollars on!! RIDICULOUS! Very rude and pushy. The employees are more focused on making you spend money than what you actually want and what is best for you. I asked for the Ego brand set up, only later to find out through another shop that I was CLEARLY sold a knockoff version. There are quite a few good Vapor shops in this town run by some really friendly people. This is not one of them. I went in because I needed some wicks and it's relatively nearby. It's slow and I'm the only one in there. Should be a simple ordeal. I say I need a wick. I try to look at what I need on my ecig and he says "Let me do that." I assume he knows more than me so no biggie. He gives me wicks, I choose the box to get the 15% discount. 11 and change or somewhere thereabouts is what he quotes me. "Need anything else?" "Sure I'll try some juice, how much for a smaller bottle?" "7.03" "Cool" He recommends some juice and I decide on one. "That will be 26.73 altogether." Math isn't my strong suit, but that seems high for the prices he just quoted me, even with tax. "How much was that juice again?" "11+, it's one of our premium ones and a bit more." Having a pretty terrible week, I decide not to push it and just pay and get out of there, don't even grab my receipt. Fool me once, shame on you, etc... I get home, change out my wick, and it doesn't work. I check the resistance on the old one. He gave me the wrong one. It's not working. I drive back and let him know. "Well, I think it's the wrong resistance." He snaps: "I beg to differ, it's working, your battery just doesn't have enough power." I'm no mechanical engineer either, however, if I'm using something, and it doesn't work as intended, and he set me up fully knowing which battery I had, I'd say it's not working. If it was, he could have easily shown me. At this point I shoot him the look of death and he scurries back with the right wicks. I try them out immediately and they work. Go somewhere where they treat you honestly and with respect. Used car sales tactics are so 1985. I won't drop names, but there are plenty of other stores and any of them are better than this. Use the search bar. They made an upsell tonight, but they definitely lost a customer. 2 stars for selection but there are plenty of stores with better selection and prices. read more
