I just said "uh never mind" and left because I had no idea why he was being so rude and he responded "okay good". Another man walked in and he helped him no problem. I have been in there several times without issue. I'm not sure what his problem was but it felt a little personal for some reason. I'm not sure if it was because of my race or the fact that I'm a black woman but it had to be my appearance because he seemed short with me before I even opened my mouth. I have never left a negative review in my life and don't want to sound like a bitch but that dude was an asshole.

However, the owner is no novice at running smoke shop businesses, and has several others in the Austin area. I stopped in when they first opened, as I passed it every day on my way from home to my office. They had a great 50% off sale on all glass products at the time. The manager is super nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. I started coming in more regularly. They have a pretty decent selection. A lot of the products are Chinese-made, but they have some American glass too (I bought a nice Higher Standards water pipe for a great price!). Definitely show this business some love. They're located in the shopping center at the southeast corner of South Congress and Oltorf, a couple shops down from the UPS Store. Stop by and check them out!
