I called asking about selections for blue Lotus flower and the person who answered the phone and…read morewas on shift tonight refused to answer my questions about product selection and reported that I needed to come into the store in person in order to see the product and that he wasn't allowed to give out any information over the phone because it was against Texas law to tell people about products over the phone because they might not be 21. First of all, this is a blatant lie. Secondly, whoever this employee is should be fired because why are you not giving out information when people call? You definitely lost my business straight up because of your attitude, but secondarily because you lied to me on the phone then when I called back and asked for his name, he refused to give it. Whoever the owner is, you should look into firing this employee because he clearly doesn't give a fuck about his job or any of the customers. When someone calls you on the phone and ask about your product selection, you should be more than happy to tell them anything that they would like to know. Not lie to them and tell them you can't tell them anything because it's against the law and tell them that they have to come into the store when that's total bullshit. The employee that was working at the time this review was posted is the employee that I'm talking about so if you as a boss are reading this review, then understand and know who your employee is that is honestly a complete and total fucking dick. He literally refused to answer any all questions. He basically just said this is a smoke shop. We sell smoke materials. You should fire him. Or at least train him in customer service because he sucks Complete ass.

Shout out to Andrew for being super helpful and friendly!…read more I came to Austin because I was visiting out of town and I left my vape back at home. I bought a new set up, thanks to Andrew's help! He took the time to set everything up and gave me tips on things like what temperature my vape hits the best at. It was my first time at ACL and well I wanted to be cool. I had heard about these e-cigs/vapors. It reminded me very much of a hookah, but portable. I love all the different flavors so I was very intrigued. My hotel was just down the street from this particular shop and they were going to have their soft opening Saturday morning. I figured I'd check it out and see what they had to offer. If I saw something I liked I'd have myself some fun at ACL!!! I stepped in a little before they were officially ready to open, but the owners/employees were nice enough to let me in and preview the joint. I ended up trying out a wide variety of flavors at their tasting station. They have tips so you can take it off and try as many flavors as you like before purchasing. I fell in love with the Space Jam - Astro. So I decided to go ahead and purchase one of their basic intro packages. They were having all kinds of specials the first day so I ended up getting another flavor too. The build out is very sleek. I could see myself just chilling in the back and studying while puffing on some Vapor.

There's a smoke shop on every corner in this Austin, so I guess I should've known better -- especially with all the recent court rulings and how desperate some places are getting. However, the owner is no novice at running smoke shop businesses, and has several others in the Austin area. I stopped in when they first opened, as I passed it every day on my way from home to my office. They had a great 50% off sale on all glass products at the time. The manager is super nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. I started coming in more regularly. They have a pretty decent selection. A lot of the products are Chinese-made, but they have some American glass too (I bought a nice Higher Standards water pipe for a great price!). Definitely show this business some love. But even when the second clerk tried to help the customer was complaining about the policies. And just kept going on and on. They offered her discount 5.00; she wanted a 25% discount of a 20.00 vape. If she knew math she'd know she was getting just that. She went on to say she was a hair dresser and if she messed up a client's hair she'd fix it for free. As the worker explained that she could give her the 5.00 discount and she could reach out to the vape company. At this point it was out of her control and was simply following the manager's policy. I told the lady customer she needed to tone it down because from the moment I had gotten there she was being combative, rude, and had changed the environment to negative energy. I ended up not purchasing anything and apologized to the two workers For the rude and in acceptable behavior from the customer. I stepped in. Because I am a business owner and would not accept that kind of behavior in my place of business and would never allow my employees to be treated like this. The woman was never asked to leave by the employees however I did tell her she needed to leave because she was being so rude. At the end of the day. She wanted something free. And the girls offered her different price point items made different suggestions, a 5.00 discount and nothing they offered was what she wanted. She just kept complaining about policy how she hated policy over all every where. The poor girls even apologized to her for the inconvenience. I always come in and the staff is friendly and always so clean. I come in all the way from San Marcos. I really hope Management knows what a great employee they have Gaby and Jahaz are so helpful when.
