My husband and I love this place! They have gluten free cookies that are delicious, I could not tell the difference!
If you are craving ice cream and you are near this location this is your spot :) is located on Salvio right around the corner from Todos Los Santos Park , parking can be a bit challenging. The ice cream is yummy , fresh and you can get a cone , a sundae or their famous ice cream sandwiches, they have a good selection of cookies to make your favorite sandwich! Customer service was average, they take your order , and charge you , nothing special. When you come in you need to figured out where is the line. They have tables and chairs if you decide to eat there. The prices are a bit high but if you compare to other shops I guess is average. Overall is a nice ice cream shop !
Always love cream for a late night sweet treat! We ordered the oatmeal ice cream sandwich it was $5.99 and we got the vanilla ice cream with it! Yum! Cookie was good they warmed it up, but not the best oatmeal cookie I've had. There was only one worker working that night he did an amazing job handling the crowd! Great customer service too! there are soy ice cream options as well A+!!
Haven't been to a CREAM in years! I used to be obsessed with them, reminds me of the 2010s! I got one of my favorite combos the peanut butter cookies with peanut butter swirl ice cream on the inside of the 2 cookies. Make sure you get your cookies warmed up to add to the flavor! Would definitely check it out again if I'm in concord and craving ice cream! The workers here were nice and were able to get through the crowd quickly as it was a lil bit busy!
DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU OR ANYONE HAS AN ALLERGY ESPECIALLY A NUT ALLERGY. We came to grab ice cream after dinner and my nephew who's 4 years old ordered vanilla ice cream with m&m pieces. He has a peanut allergy and is very aware when he has that off feeling. He ordered his ice cream first so he's sitting down enjoying it not knowing he's about to get that "tingly allergy" feeling. While we're checking out, he rushes to his mom telling her he needs water which we was also purchased. Melanie is the worker who assisted us with the transaction and we even left her a tip. This is where you can roll the tapes Mark....not even a minute later my nephew projectile vomited and we knew instantly uh oh something must've been exposed. There was a nut in his vanilla ice cream. He keeps throwing up so we make sure to bring him outside. The line kept getting longer and longer and they were busy and we kept apologizing profusely. We understand where these things happen and it's completely okay that's why we carry Benadryl and an epi pen for these incidents. We put napkins and tried to wipe up the vomit. We even put chairs over the wet spot so others didn't step or slip on the wet surface. We did what we can with what we had. We were waiting for them to finish helping the customers they were assisting at that moment but we didn't receive any acknowledgement. We are still outside with our little guy ensuring he is okay. This is when the issue occurs...Melanie comes out and states "her kid threw up, she needs to clean it". We asked for a mop and she says "we don't have a mop". So how do you want us to clean this up? With our hands? And why doesn't this establishment have a mop? Should we be concerned on their cleaning routine on top of cross contamination. She is more concerned about vomit instead of the 4 year old who could've possibly went to the hospital tonight. She causes a huge scene yelling at a family with 2 toddlers and 2 newborns. She runs to the back and doesn't come out at all meanwhile I believe Carmen (girl with pinkish hair) is talking for her. We ask for the owners information because this unacceptable and inappropriate. Now on the phone with him which he is lacking in the professionalism department as well. He instantly states "you need to evacuate my building. The police are on their way". No need to be demanding and aggressive, we're already outside. Mark, do yourself a favor for future patrons, ask what occurred first get another point of view before making demands to evacuate. Second, you don't tell a mom who's worried about her son's health you would be embarrassed if this happened to you. Third, get a mop for your place there's vomit residue. The police arrive and even they are just as shocked on what just occurred especially when children are involved and present. We could've easily blamed the workers for having a nut in the ice cream but we know accidents occur. The behavior and responses are clear that it is evident nobody has customer skills. I understand always supporting your employee but please keep in mind what's right is right and what's wrong is wrong. The demands, lack of professionalism and responses are beyond anything we have ever experienced.
This is an awesome place to bring back so many memories. I try the malted chocolate shake, and if you're using Yelp, you can actually get a free cookie when I checked in so that's cool. The service was at amazing and fast. When I saw the long line, I was a little intimidating, but it move so quickly the staff did such a great job and they're so kind and patient. I highly suggest this area family friendly.
Great spot for desserts! I got their Brownie sundae with banana almond fudge ice cream and it was so declious. Got the brownie warmed up and it came with two toppings for which I got their hot fudge and marshmallows. Great staff and quick service and good spot for group hangouts!
Oh Cream! How do I love thee? Let me count the waaaays. Mm, mm, mmm! Cream is one of the few ice cream chains that I truly adore. Their consistency is what gets me just about every single time. Not only is their ice cream delicious, but the customer service is just stellar. Speaking of their ice cream, it really IS cream-y! HA! You see what I did there?! But honestly, for an ice cream chain, this place has some amazing ice cream. I love the variety of flavors that are always available, and I also love that I can get a host of different ice cream concoctions from donut ice cream sandwiches to cookie sundaes to those lovable milkshakes. The variety is pretty insane. I will live and die by their milkshakes. Lately I've been stuck on their cookie ice cream sandwiches and cookie sundaes, but their milkshakes are fair game. They're always so thick and creamy. And by the way, their COOKIES are so damn good. Shoutout to that white chocolate chip macadamia nut! Oh yeah... you're the real MVP. Low key addictive. Okay fine... HIGH key addictive. Love those cookies. I've always received excellent service here. The associates always seem so excited to help the customers which is always great to see. Even when there are lines out the door during the summer, they staff is always patient and willing to take their time with whomever they are assisting. I was heart broken when Cream closed their Rockridge location because I used to visit that one faithfully. But, I'm so happy to have this wonderful location nearby. Always lovin' me some Cream!
Is me and my daughter fav ice cream place but They never fix this restroom, kids needs to use the bathroom. Please be kind with costumers. I know we have homeless people around but this is not the city. And also you have the tip option so think about the rest. Thank you
Hubby and I have tried CREAM in many locations but this is first time we decided to try the vegan products they had to offer. We are not vegans but wow we definitely loved the cookies and surprisingly the ice cream was so good too. We both agreed that the vegan cookies were softer than the regular cookies we have had in the past from CREAM. My order was the vegan banana bliss cookie with soy strawberry and hubby got the vegan oat maple spiced cookie with soy mint chocolate chip. We each liked our orders and tried each other's and we like them too! Wow is all I can say we were very impressed and totally made up for what we had for lunch which I will not go into details here. The gal helping us was very sweet and made sure to let us know of all the vegan choices including toppings which we both declined. I would not mind coming back for more of the vegan stuff in the future.
The simple churro ice cream is my favorite at any CREAM location in the Bay Area! That flavor mixed in a hot fudge sundae is absolutely delicious!
On a hot day, like a 90 degree + day in the Bay Area, CREAM is the ice cream shop to go! Located in Plaza de Todos los Santos, it stays packed. I got the craving for ice cream, and decided to get some for the working team and I. I ordered through YELP, and the ice cream came on time. Since we stay busy here, I went for ice cream sandwiches. Presentation was A+, with the CREAM box and everything well packed. Delivery driver was also friendly and followed instructions well :) One of my co-workers, Angela, went for a Mint once cream sandwich, with mini M&M's. Marcus and I went for ice cream sandwich, with Banana bliss ice cream and gummy bears The most important one was for Matt, our cook, who is VEGAN. I wrote this under notes when I placed my order, and when I got my delivery, they adjusted the order and even wrote a lovely note! Just based on the note and this order, the shop CREAM is awesome and care about their customers and what they rep. Top 3 ice cream shop in my list! I'll leave below what each one of my co-workers thought about their ice cream sandwich: Marcus, Senior Lead: "It was cool as hell, and the note was nice. It was cool they cared enough for people's dietary restrictions, and made sure they were followed" Matt, Cook: "The cookie was awesome, how was it vegan? My dude and I came to CREAM in Concord, Ca as I was craving a snickerdoodle cookie with Vanilla ice cream. We arrived around 9:30pm as they close at 10pm. I am not a big fan of CREAM and I have only been to this chain twice in my life as I am very picky with my ice cream. The dude and I were instantly greeted my a staff member. I took a few minutes to look at the menu and order what I wanted. I got the Snickerdoodle cookie with French Vanilla ice cream add fudge and almonds. 6/10 is my rating as it didn't quench my sweet tooth. I prefer Vanilla Bean ice cream as it taste so much better which is my taste buds were slightly disappointed. The cookie was good and they had other flavors I would love to try! Overall, this a cool chain but it's not really my type of ice cream shop. However, overall it was a good experience. It clean inside and spacious. Definitely a place to take littles who love ice cream and cookies!
I was in the mood for chocolate and I ended up getting a hot fudge sundae. It was very good but there were a lot of decisions to make lol. I wasn't totally prepared for that. I was really pleasantly surprised when I visited this store yesterday and found that they offered Ube ice cream. That must've been added recently. I had never seen it before. The purple color on the ice cream was so vibrant and magnificent. It was so inviting that I could not not order it. So, I decided to get my Cookie Sunday with Butter Sugar Cookie and Ube Ice Cream. Their Butter Sugar Cookie was so sweet, buttery, and it had the most amazing chewy texture. I would get this cookie every time. My Cookie Sundae was so tasty that it did not even need any more additional toppings, so I decided to forewent all those. $6.99 as of September 2024. Staff who helped me was nice and friendly. Parking could get a little difficult, because this store is located at the heart of downtown Concord. But just across the street from the store, you should see a parking garage that seems to be free. So, that could be an option for parking. read more

My parents and I were in Concord for dinner and decided to stop at CREAM for dessert! The girl working behind the counter was very nice and we all enjoyed our ice cream. My parents each got an ice cream cookie sandwich and I got ice cream on a waffle cone. We ate the ice cream inside the store; we liked that there was a lot of indoor seating and the store was clean. I do wish there was more than 1 person working behind the counter because we had to wait a while for the group ahead of us to get their ice cream and pay. Also, I got the banana walnut fudge ice cream (yum!) but it was very soft and was melting as soon as I received it. Overall it was a great visit and we would come again! read more

Came here for a quick stop after eating some lunch and decided that I wanted to get some dessert. It was my first time coming here. The employee that was working at the time was super friendly and nice. I got to sample some flavors before choosing what I wanted. I opted for an ice cream sandwich. The selection process follow as: 1. Pick your base 2. Choose your flavor 3. Select your topping For the base, you can choose from either a cookie, brownie, mini cookies, waffle and do'sant (which is a donut + crossant). There are a lot of flavors to choose from. If you are not sure what you want, be sure to get a sample and go from there. They also have seasonal flavors available but for a limited time. You can't go wrong with toppings either. There is a lot to select from as well. I went for the butter sugar cookie with coffee flavored ice cream and almond toppings. I got the cookies warmed. It was yummy stuff. read more

Who doesn't love ice cream? Better yet, an ice cream waffle sandwich? The smell of a freshly made waffle...Heavenly. I think most people would agree that ice cream just makes you feel happy. Now select cookies, waffles, brownies or do'sant (donut and croissant) as your base and choose from a myriad of toppings (nuts, sprinkles, mini M&M's, crushed Oreo cookies, etc.) to complete your customized ice cream sandwich! Just perusing the ice cream display case gets me giddy. I don't know what flavor to choose and I'm excited like a little kid. It's also fun to watch the person make your creation. Cream is one of those dessert places that has a simple concept. It's ice cream your way. If you don't feel like an ice cream sandwich, you can order a scoop or two in a cup. Or in a cone. Or a milkshake. A sundae. Heck, take some home by the pint if you want. And the prices are very reasonable. The store is very clean and inviting. Bright and cheery just like the two young ladies that were working the night we visited. read more

Where does one start! Just don't go! Even the surrounding stores looked us crazy, when we said it was one of our stops. Cookies hard as rocks & waffle had absolutely no flavor. Absolutely the rudest worker in the world, not sure if she was just annoyed at the many topping my child got or the fact that she was just having a "bad day". However I hope whatever she's dealing with gets better. My husband ordered a double chocolate chip cookie with a "cup of joe" ice cream. My first time here! Very friendly and helpful staff! As i mentioned that it was my first time here i was offered samples and was explained how the menu worked! I was so full from dinner next door but ended up getting a scoop of Cafe Joe and Green tea icecream! Very light and delicious! I was already super excited to learn a CREAM was coming into Concord. The company shows a great location to boot. It's right near Todos Santos Plaza. I frequent here with friends and I know other people do too. There's parking just about everywhere. It must be a crazy busy day where one can't find parking. Thank goodness for this location. It can be a bit much to travel all the way to Walnut Creek and to Berkeley for some tasty treat. Obviously I visited just a few days after opening. I saw members of what looked like to be corporate and I was even helped by the owner of this particular store! This didn't impede my experience. The manager was so kind, and helpful. The other people of the company didn't block anything neither did look at me or anyone other guest badly. The store is beautiful. It's clean. It's spacious. There were three tables inside too. The music wasn't too loud. It was hip and nice too. I was immediately greeted by both the manager and her two employees. Well, the two that were in the front counter. They had smiles on their faces. One employee asked me how I was and asked how she can help me. There are so many choices. I love how they have the classics and new interesting flavors. They even have soy ice cream! There's a variety of cookies too. Oh there's vegan and non-vegan options. There's red velvet, oatmeal, snicker doodle options. Of corse they don't just sell ice cream cookie sandwiches. They also got milkshakes. You can just get ice cream. Or just a cookie even. Or an ice cream taco! Now I got an ice cream sandwich. One non-vegan oatmeal cookie, and one non-vegan red velvet cookie, in between I got cookies n' cream ice cream. They warned the cookies. But no too much where it would be hard. No, my cookies were soft. A perfect combo to the cold of the ice cream. For $3.99 you get a sizeable sandwich which is pretty filling. Another wonderful location. Can't wait to come back! read more

So happy CREAM has made it to Concord! Spacious and prime location. $3.99 for a cookie ice cream sandwich. I like to pick two different kinds of cookies.
