It's not bad. Just not good for the price. Menu has a lot of add ones with pricing written in menu and staff was unsure of the menu on items we ordered. I really just did not like the salad with that strawberry,orange, pineapple mix with mayo (what they told me it was) and the onion soup was pretty much bland beef broth with a small slice of mushroom with a pinch of those fried onions you get in a can. The Thai BBQ chicken and rice was good. Just did not under stand the upcharge to make your rice fried rice. It is pretty price especially if you want to add meat to your meal. But not bad for sherman but there is better and fresher places out there for same price. read more

Another great meal at Crazy Thai! The hibachi chicken was good. The mixed veggies with seafood outstanding and the teriyaki beef very tasty. The craziest thing about Crazy Thai is the joke they call Thai tea. I was given 30% tea and 70% cream and ice, making it taste like tea flavored milk. This is the third time I ordered it, and it seems to have less tea every time. Unfortunately they let me down. We'd asked for extra cashews in my pineapple fried rice chicken and instead got one cashew. Food is average, leaning towards bland. I've been there for takeout three times since they opened, and each time I'm left disappointed. My main complaint is they seem to be too hesitant in their spice levels. I've been eating fire since I was four. I love Thai Food for the amazing flavors and screamingly scorching heat. Every time I've ordered, I clearly ask for level 5, which is supposed to be "Crazy" hot, it's listed above Thai Hot! I even say, I don't want "American Crazy Hot", I want Thai Crazy Hot! And each time, I'm told "No problem, sir." When I bite into it, there's barely even a tingle. Either these people are not Thai, or they're too concerned about the diner returning the food for being too hot. If that's the case, then don't offer those heat levels. I always end up having to spice it up myself, with ghost pepper powder when I get home. read more

Ok, so the place could use a little better decor, but if you are just wanting delicious Thai food and generous portions in a surprising spot, this is the place! I have been to some pricey Thai places and the flavors here are as good as the high end places in big cities! Had the rangoons, pad thai and a basil chicken dish. So yummy! I very rarely write reviews but this place deserves one. It's my absolute favorite! I almost exclusively order takeout and the food is always hot and just as good as when I dine in. The customer service is fantastic and the food is consistently phenomenal. As a vegetarian, it's tough finding places in town that have multiple options to choose from, and Crazy Thai has so many it was almost overwhelming when I first started going! I've settled on the veggie pad thai that I can't keep myself from getting at least once a week. I love this place, easily some of the best Thai food I've had ANYWHERE and it's awesome to have such a place in Sherman. read more

Exclent food. I had basil fried rice and my wife had Pad Thai. We also had crispy spring roles and gyoza(pan fried). Everything was cooked perfectly. On their heat level I could prob do a 5 or maybe even more. My wife said her number 2 level was just right for her. The service was excellent waitress was attentive but not too over top. She asked us to hand her the wife's glass as it was over on the far side of the table from her, this is a big pet peeve of mine when wait staff reach across my plate. Surprised! I was sure what to expect as Sherman is not known for its Thai; until now that is. Inside is clean, not fancy, but well done. Great variety on the menu. I'm not a fan of broth based soups but the onion soup was very good, not too salty like some broths. Spring rolls were crispy and served with an excellent sauce. This is one of those places that makes you feel welcome and appreciated as a customer. The service is always terrific and I leave with a smile every single time. The service is amazing but combine that with the delicious food and you have something that few others can compete with. I'm a vegetarian and have never had any issues finding something to get. Every time I come here, either done in or take out the staff is friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing, and if you can handle the heat they'll kick up the spice upon request. My husband and I always order extra so we can have lunch the next day too. After we moved, we are now willing to drive 45 minutes each way just to eat at the Crazy Thai. The volcano shrimp should be on everyone's list to try. It's a vibrant and fresh take on chili shrimp. If you imagine the best shrimp with chili sauce you ever had, only done better. read more

I had been wanting to try this place since it opened, but could not convince my husband. Finally he agreed to take me. He was so impressed with the flavor and portions. Soup and said before entree are not just okay. The pad Thai was made with the tiny thin noodles which was not.my favorite with pad Thai but flavor was good and we did enjoy the dish with chicken. Love the way they do the fried tofu with pad Thai.. Thin and crispy! Also had the red curey.. Mild and stilll had just enough spice and was very flavorful.
