    bay bridge sandwich
    Tessa V.

The Bay Bridge sandwich is the way to go! It was around $20 total after tax but everything at the park is overpriced anyway, so might as well get a big ol' shrimp and crab sandwich! It was yummy, especially after adding hot sauce on top - I'm impressed by the size! Their more popular dish - the Crazy Crab sandwich - is $6 more and is served warm on buttered bread, but it's a significantly smaller portion. I'm surprised more people don't get the Bay Bridge sandwich! I did have a bite of the Crazy Crab sandwich and I understand the hype - the buttery bread is delicious, but it's super tiny... Very happy to have finally tried Crazy Crab'z! Not sure if I would spend this much money on it again (company offsite paid for it this time), but I enjoyed it!

For the price point I expect more. These last few times I decided to get the crab sando, l was dissatisfied because it wasn't hot or even warm. It had been sitting there and they no longer use enough garlic butter any more. Skimping on size to cut costs for them and charging more from the customers to make up for inflation. I used to be more then willing to pay the high price for a quality sandwich but the only quality they kept was the real dungarees crab inside.

Pro-tip: You have to ask for hot sauce when you pay because they keep it behind the counter. Don't be deterred by the long lines, it splits into three registers, and the food is ready on the spot. Highlights: This sandwich is insanely good. Something about the toasted bread, the generous portion of crab and the slice of tomato is seriously perfection. I couldn't believe how fast the service is. Lowlights: I did feel like some of the sandwiches looked bigger than others, which seems a bit unfair since it's all the same price. Definitely on the pricier side.

I am not really into sports, but my job had a team outing and my boss bought us tickets to a Giants game. While I was there, I was checking out the food options at the stadium and Crazy Crab'z stood out to me. I love crab, it is one of my favorite foods, but I usually go for a whole fried or roasted crab. I had never tried a crab sandwich or a lobster sandwich before. When I looked at the menu, the crab sandwich sounded way too simple. It was just lump crab meat with a slice of tomato on toasted sourdough. I thought there was no way it would be that good. I also ordered kettle chips on the side. But when I took my first bite, I was honestly shocked. My first reaction was "oh my God, this is so good." In the moment I even said it was the best thing I have had in my life. It probably was the drinks talking a little, but the sandwich really was amazing. The flavors just worked perfectly together. The only downside is that since I am not a sports fan, I cannot really get this anywhere else. I will definitely have to try to recreate it at home. I have already been telling my friends about it and telling them they need to order one. Some of them laughed at me and said they have been eating these for years, while others told me they still have not tried it because of the price. It is definitely pricey at $24 for just the sandwich, but in my opinion it is worth trying at least once.

Tried the crab sandwich here and it was delicious! The crab tasted fresh, the bread was perfectly crispy, and with a little squeeze of lemon it was just right. I was lucky to catch it when the line wasn't long, but I noticed it definitely builds up later--so if you see it short, jump in. The only downside is I wish the sandwich was a bit bigger, but honestly it's worth the price for the flavor and quality. If you're at the stadium and craving something beyond the usual ballpark food, this is a must-try.

Obligatory stop every time we're at the ballpark. Pricey but I can't help myself. They open as soon as the gates open (1.5-2 hours before game time, depending on weekday vs weekend). There are multiple lines to get through expeditiously. Lots of tables in the surrounding area that fill up quick. Condiments and napkins are at the 2 stations behind the line and adjacent to right of this cute little stand. FAMILY FAVES: FAVORITES (prices as of 2025.07.13) * CRAZY CRAB'Z SANDWICH (Naked Dungeness and a tomato slice on toasted herb butter sourdough) $24.79 *BAY BRIDGE SANDWICH (Bay Shrimp and Dungeness Crab dressed in mayo & celery on a roll) $18.05 * CLAM CHOWDER SOURDOUGH BREAD BOWL $14.79 * CLAM CHOWDER CUP $10.59 * HOUSE KETTLE CHIPS $8.79

Small sandwich, but it has lots of crab inside.

Great Crab sandwich with lots of crab meat on a yummy toasted bread. It cost $27 with tax. The sandwich is small, so I recommend small bites... LOL. ENJOY the game! GO GIANTS.

My husband and I love this place! We eat here at every SF Giants baseball game. Our favorite is the classic crab sandwich. The bread is sourdough garlic bread. Pair it with garlic fries and a beer. You will feel satisfied!

10/10 sandwiches. It's a great value for a crab sandwich. Their service is always great. You definitely need to stop by every single time. You're at a Giants game. It's definitely worth the wait and you're never disappointed. Go Giants

Went to see the game SF vs Mets,at level 3 is the most popular (in my opinion)Crazy Crab'z,it's authentic delicious crab meat freshly made on their grill, the sandwich is filled with no filler, mayo, big slice of tomato that i took off .The bread has the perfect crunch, service is fast, ambiance is well thought off coz there's tables steps away from it.

The line was pretty long but moved quickly as the workers were really efficient. I got the crazy crab sandwich and they had a bunch of them immediately ready under a heat lamp. It was really tasty as they gave you a pretty large portion of crab and the bread was buttery and garlicky. I was a bit disappointed that the tomato slices were so thin but overall the sandwich was tasty. At $24.79 a sandwich not including tax or the 3% health mandate fee, it's a bit pricey but worth it as a once in a while treat!

The crazy crab'z sandwich is the best thing to get at Oracle Park IMO, well maybe equal to the garlic fries... better yet, get them both (from different food stands of course). There are multiple Crazy Crab'z food stands, but I usually go to the one located next to the giant Coca Cola structure, where there are tables and seating if you don't wanna bring it back to your stadium seats. We attended the Giants game on opening weekend, and the venue was busy, but the line at this food stand went fast, crab sandwiches ready and served instantly. Super buttery, soft, flavorful layer of crab mix, I am so addicted. If only they served these outside of the ballpark... can't get enough!

5 stars to one of my favorite crab sandwiches!! i love the giants but i get extra excited at home games because i can get one of these. the crab is fresh and the portion is satisfying. the sourdough bread is also perfectly sour. i have no notes and i wish i could have this sandwich all the time.

Price aside, it was pretty good. Lot of crab and nicely toasted and crunchy bread. The melt and that crab really go well together.

My bf ended up sharing his order with me because I didn't enjoy my Cioppino ($42.) The seafood was bland, all tasting very much alike, & the broth didn't give off that complex spicy tang that my favorite cioppinos possess. My table started with an appetizer of Red Chili Garlic Shrimp ($18) -- from the description, we were expecting a dry, possibly sautéed preparation & were disappointed that the shrimp were sitting in a watery broth. Though I was letdown by my picks here, I know my group enjoyed theirs. We were treated very well by our waiter & by the host who gave us a beautiful window seat; we enjoyed the view of the sun setting over the bay. Not a restaurant I'd regularly return to, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it (with a few caveats, of course) to someone looking for a sit-down Pier 39 meal.

My girlfriend ordered the penne pasta with prawns topped with rich red sauce and melted cheese ($33). It was absolutely delicious and rivals many local Italian restaurants. I also ordered the crab burger and clam chowder ($36). The clam chowder was hot, creamy and not too salty. The burger came with a good amount of crab. It looked like imitation crab, but it wasn't, it was much bolder and heartier. I'd come back here whether for a date night or a solo evening slurping oysters at the bar. The food is pricey, but if you're into quality seafood options beyond fish, I'd definitely recommend it.

I had the opportunity to visit the this location yesterday (4.30.26). The restaurant was absolutely beautiful, the ambiance of the restaurant...unmatched. As a writer imagine my utter shock and dismay to be racially discriminated against by the Host of the Waterbar when myself and a colleague were told there were no outside seats only to watch four white men to be given the choice to be seated outside or inside, immediately following what we were told. While they had a party of four, there were only two of us. The ambience here was one of the most beautiful...but we were only privy to a glimpse of the luxury design as we we whisked off down a few steps to the back corner of the restaurant where no one was dining...as if we were escaping some war torn country and they had taken pity on us. While the Indian woman who I dined with voiced her disdain for the obvious difference in treatment she believed we should stay. I have to admit, I cannot tell you how exceptional Chef Mark Franz cuisine was...as it was memorably overshadowed by the bitter taste of racism.
