This sandwich represents the best of San Francisco. From Dungeness crab to the sourdough bread, this meal screams quintessential San Francisco cuisine. Are you from out of town? ORDER THIS! Are you a local? ORDER THIS! One thing that I would say is shrinkflation exists. For an almost $30 sandwich, you don't get quite as much seafood as you would back in the day. Is it worth it still? I say, YES. It beats any crab sandwich inside and outside the park.
The delicious crab sandwiches at Crazy Crab'z are the perfect way to cap off your quintessential San Francisco ballpark experience. Each portion features two half sandwiches comprised of garlicky bread with Dungeness crab salad sandwiched in between. Add a squeeze of lemon for that extra brightness. The sandwich had a nice toasted crunch with a comforting and yummy crab filling. I believe there are a few locations in the ballpark to acquire such a delicacy. The dish is shareable, or be a glutton and eat both yourself. The only downside is the price, $28, yikes!
So expensive for $28!! But it sure was goooood. The tomatoes help cut through the creaminess. The bread is perfectly toasted and buttery. They also sell bay bridge sandwich, fish n chips, crab Louie salad, clam chowder and such, but the popular item here is definitely the crab sandwich. Very quick, prompt service. I get the hype now.... I don't want to share.....
I dream of this sandwich! It's a MUST every time I'm at Oracle Park! Yes, it's $28 and there's a line, but it's absolutely worth it. Packed with delicious crab and easily one of my favorite ballpark foods. Don't skip it!
I had heard so much hype about this spot being the best at Oracle Park and I'm happy to report that the crab sandwich at Crazy Crab'z was indeed worth the hype. I believe there's multiple locations in the venue, but I went to the one by section 142. This spot had the longest line by far, but it moved relatively quickly since it split into 4 different cashier lines. Cashier was very friendly and patient. I got the standard Crazy Crab'z sandwich, which had beautifully buttered and toasted bread, a crab and mayo mix, and tomatoes. It was around $30 after tax, which was a hefty price for a sandwich that could be a bit heftier, but I kind of expected that for arena prices. The sandwich was so good. It really was the perfect lunch for a baseball game with the sun shining and the beautiful bay view. Sometimes I find that crab as an ingredient has a bit of a fishy aftertaste, but the crab in this sandwich tasted super fresh and refreshing, especially paired with the tomato and perfectly toasted bread. I will have to make a stop here every time I'm at Oracle Park going forward! A quintessential SF experience.
Crab sandwich was delicious with plenty of crab. Bread was garlicky. Price is a bit sleep at $32 after tax and service charges. Garlic fries were great and a classy at oracle park.
This is always my first stop when im there for a game. It may be pricey but boy is it good. The staff there is so lively and friendly. If you love crab, give this sandwich a try. The buttery bread is a plus as well.

Now it's like getting closer to $30. But is one of the best times to order at Oracle ballpark when watching a game or event here. The workers crank out the sandwiches like an assembly line that you can see in the main food area. There is also another Craxy Crabs in the top floor if you want to have a lesser wait. The only thing to order is the Crab Sandwich because that's the only thing that is the best. For fun, I order the crab noodle and it was a bit weird for me. Interesting yes, if you wanted to say you like to try odd stuff and cross it off your list then go for it. From time to time, I do think about this sandwich when I pass by the park. Yummy in my tummy, indeed! I will always love to come back here!
Long line, but service was pretty quick Sandwich was just meh. Maybe a step up from crab salad from a California roll.

Crab sandwich is highly recommended especially on a nice day in the ballpark! The garlic butter bread provided a nice crunchy texture and added more flavor to the crab filling. I opted to take out the tomato from the sandwich which honestly didn't make a huge difference to the taste of the sandwich. My order came out pretty quickly so honestly no complaints. Would def try this again when I come back!
First time eating the crab sandwich! You feel part of the Oracle Park vibe when you eat here. The staff was friendly and they were working hard to make sandwiches for the fans. The line was very fast and I liked that it divides into 3 separate lanes to order. I would eat at this restaraunt again when I attend another Giants game soon. 5/5 stars.
The Bay Bridge sandwich is the way to go! It was around $20 total after tax but everything at the park is overpriced anyway, so might as well get a big ol' shrimp and crab sandwich! It was yummy, especially after adding hot sauce on top - I'm impressed by the size! Their more popular dish - the Crazy Crab sandwich - is $6 more and is served warm on buttered bread, but it's a significantly smaller portion. I'm surprised more people don't get the Bay Bridge sandwich! I did have a bite of the Crazy Crab sandwich and I understand the hype - the buttery bread is delicious, but it's super tiny... Very happy to have finally tried Crazy Crab'z! Not sure if I would spend this much money on it again (company offsite paid for it this time), but I enjoyed it!

As expected, stadium food prices are crazy here. The Crazy Crab'z sandwich was $28.79 (~$32 after tax). For just a small sandwich with no fries, chips, or sides... yeah my wallet felt that one. Price aside, the sandwich itself was pretty solid. Decent amount of crab, bread was buttery and crispy, not soggy, and the little lemon wedge was a nice tiny touch. On level 100, this stand was behind the scoreboard and during a game, there was of course a long line but it moved at a decent pace. If you don't mind dropping $32 on a sandwich, go for it. It's definitely tasty! But at that price, I do wish you get some fries on the side at least. read more

For the price point I expect more. These last few times I decided to get the crab sando, l was dissatisfied because it wasn't hot or even warm. It had been sitting there and they no longer use enough garlic butter any more. Skimping on size to cut costs for them and charging more from the customers to make up for inflation. I used to be more then willing to pay the high price for a quality sandwich but the only quality they kept was the real dungarees crab inside. read more
Pro-tip: You have to ask for hot sauce when you pay because they keep it behind the counter. Don't be deterred by the long lines, it splits into three registers, and the food is ready on the spot. Highlights: This sandwich is insanely good. Something about the toasted bread, the generous portion of crab and the slice of tomato is seriously perfection. I couldn't believe how fast the service is. Lowlights: I did feel like some of the sandwiches looked bigger than others, which seems a bit unfair since it's all the same price. I am not really into sports, but my job had a team outing and my boss bought us tickets to a Giants game. While I was there, I was checking out the food options at the stadium and Crazy Crab'z stood out to me. I love crab, it is one of my favorite foods, but I usually go for a whole fried or roasted crab. I had never tried a crab sandwich or a lobster sandwich before. When I looked at the menu, the crab sandwich sounded way too simple. It was just lump crab meat with a slice of tomato on toasted sourdough. I thought there was no way it would be that good. I also ordered kettle chips on the side. But when I took my first bite, I was honestly shocked. My first reaction was "oh my God, this is so good." In the moment I even said it was the best thing I have had in my life. It probably was the drinks talking a little, but the sandwich really was amazing. The flavors just worked perfectly together. The only downside is that since I am not a sports fan, I cannot really get this anywhere else. I will definitely have to try to recreate it at home. I have already been telling my friends about it and telling them they need to order one. Some of them laughed at me and said they have been eating these for years, while others told me they still have not tried it because of the price. It is definitely pricey at $24 for just the sandwich, but in my opinion it is worth trying at least once. read more
Tried the crab sandwich here and it was delicious! The crab tasted fresh, the bread was perfectly crispy, and with a little squeeze of lemon it was just right. I was lucky to catch it when the line wasn't long, but I noticed it definitely builds up later--so if you see it short, jump in. The only downside is I wish the sandwich was a bit bigger, but honestly it's worth the price for the flavor and quality. If you're at the stadium and craving something beyond the usual ballpark food, this is a must-try. read more

Obligatory stop every time we're at the ballpark. Pricey but I can't help myself. They open as soon as the gates open (1.5-2 hours before game time, depending on weekday vs weekend). There are multiple lines to get through expeditiously. Lots of tables in the surrounding area that fill up quick. Condiments and napkins are at the 2 stations behind the line and adjacent to right of this cute little stand. My husband and I love this place! We eat here at every SF Giants baseball game. Our favorite is the classic crab sandwich. The bread is sourdough garlic bread. Pair it with garlic fries and a beer. You will feel satisfied! read more

The line was pretty long but moved quickly as the workers were really efficient. I got the crazy crab sandwich and they had a bunch of them immediately ready under a heat lamp. It was really tasty as they gave you a pretty large portion of crab and the bread was buttery and garlicky. I was a bit disappointed that the tomato slices were so thin but overall the sandwich was tasty. At $24.79 a sandwich not including tax or the 3% health mandate fee, it's a bit pricey but worth it as a once in a while treat! read more

The crazy crab'z sandwich is the best thing to get at Oracle Park IMO, well maybe equal to the garlic fries... better yet, get them both (from different food stands of course). There are multiple Crazy Crab'z food stands, but I usually go to the one located next to the giant Coca Cola structure, where there are tables and seating if you don't wanna bring it back to your stadium seats. We attended the Giants game on opening weekend, and the venue was busy, but the line at this food stand went fast, crab sandwiches ready and served instantly. Super buttery, soft, flavorful layer of crab mix, I am so addicted. If only they served these outside of the ballpark... can't get enough! read more

5 stars to one of my favorite crab sandwiches!! i love the giants but i get extra excited at home games because i can get one of these. the crab is fresh and the portion is satisfying. the sourdough bread is also perfectly sour. i have no notes and i wish i could have this sandwich all the time. read more

Love going to giants games but I never tried a crazy crab sandwich. I decided to change that this week, so I ordered the crazy crab sandwich. Service nice and fast. I will say that it was tasty but it didn't send my tastebuds on a rocket to mars, it was alright. I tried it with and without the lemon. For a sandwich that costs near $30 I was hoping for a side of something. It could've been lays chips. The price doesn't reflect this and I do think it's overpriced. read more

The crab sandwich and old bay fries were delicious. We came straight here after getting through the gate. The line was already very long, but went fast. The food is definitely not cheap, but you get a decent amount for what you pay. Especially when compared to the price of a hot dog next door. I recommend getting the lemon wedge as the extra acid is needed to combat the heaviness of the fat. Don't forget to grab a beer. read more
