So my sister and I went in for some seafood boil. I ordered combo #2 and she ordered combo #1. And the last few times that I came here before the pandemic I've always ordered oysters with my seafood boil. I of course tried to order that and the waitress said they were all out which I was ok with. While waiting on our food, the waitress comes out to let me know that they just got oysters in & I of course said let me get a dozen please lol. After we had gotten our food, she comes out with my tray of dozen oysters and let me tell y'all... I was SUPER DISAPPOINTED. The oysters were small as hell! (Picture for reference below on how small their oysters were). I kid you not I finished those things under less than a min due to the size. And not only that, there was still little shell pieces with it. My bill came out to about $75 and not knowing how much the oysters were, but they was def. not worth the $30 for a dozen. I haven't had crawfish outside of the south, but this place is as good as it gets. I went here about a year ago and I've been back at least once sometimes twice a month. It is well worth the money with the amount of food that they serve. The crawfish are a pretty nice size and I have never been disappointed after leaving. The customer service is good and they serve the food pretty fast. One thing that I liked was how clean the restaurant was with the covering of the tables and the dishes they serve the food in. I do wish they would add more seasoning with the food but that's more of a personal preference. I'm curious to try the other location as I only have been to the one in Kent! read more

My new favorite restaurant in Washington. I love seafood and would frequently go to crab pot in Seattle. I'll be coming to boiling crawfish from now on. Our server was helpful and recommended the house sauce for our lobster/shrimps/potato/corn combo. we added one pound of king crab just cause it's our favorite and whew! We are stuffed. I give this place 5 stars based on the fact that I'm always craving the crawfish boil here and have come about every other week since discovering it! The original house sauce is delish! Lots of garlic and some heat to it! French fried and fried oysters were good and their chicken wings are really good! They provide bibs and lots of paper towels but they don't have hand wipes so you'll have to clean up after your meal in the bathroom. Lots of parking. Good for groups. Lots of seafood combos. Finally a crawfish joint worth eating here in the south end! Ever since Casian closed down in Renton years ago, I had to venture up to Seattle or down south to Federal Way to find a spot worth eating at. Boiling Crawfish holds it down with the right amount of flavor, fresh seafoods, and HUGE pacific crawfish (when in season). Everything is fairly priced and we always order more food than is needed. I wish their heat levels were more spicy as even a 5 star heat doesn't really pack that much heat for my taste buds. The place is very spacious and is rarely packed. The service may not be fantastic, but the food is excellent. You have to flag down the server if you need anything, but its no biggie. We got a #3 and the feast was on!! House sauce is amazing and the medium had a good enough burn. If you are hungry for seafood this is the place. Itscheaper to get a predetermined combo than to order ala carte/oneby one. It's not a place to eat if you don't like making a mess. You're gonna get sauce all over your gloves and bib. Also not a good place to go on a first date unless you want to know if you're dating a savage. I liked it so much that I went two nights in a row...might make a third night but not sure yet. I rated this place 2 stars because of their terrible service. I bought my father here for his birthday because he has never been here before. We got a table for 4 people when there was SEVEN of us. While everyone was seating themselves, my family sat at a different table where there was ENOUGH room for everyone. A waiter came to us and said, "Next time, let me know". At first, i understood why she was frustrated. However, there was plenty of open tables and i did not appreciate her attitude. A tip for them: If you're going to complain about your customers, please do it in the back! It was completely obvious when every single one of them broke their necks by staring at my family. This place is sooo good. My family happily drives past all the other crawfish restaurants on the commute from South Lake Union to eat at this joint. It's not fancy but who cares when you're wearing gloves and a bib sipping on a bottomless strawberry lemonade! Combos typically come with potatoes, corn, and sausages (depending on which combo you order). We always get the house sauce! Flavor town and it's a little buttery. This location is close to my home and convenient. It does get busy and I know that this is a closer option then the white center crawfish place which is amazing! I would say the customer service definitely lacks very much a fast food come in order your food and take your money. They're not fast for refilling water or bringing side items if you order while eating your meal. I've experienced a few times, finishing my main course and being ready to leave by the time they brought out any extra order items such as rice or sausage and potatoes. Best flavoring for Cajun style seafood around here. From Texas, this place ain't bad. Has more of an Asian style crawfish taste. In the south, crawfish is about $6-8.99 per pound here is $11.99 per pound but I guess that's the norm since it's hard to get. Got the dungeons crab (19.99/lb), shrimp ($11.99/lb), and crawfish (1$11.99/lb) combo. The flavoring is good but it doesn't taste like it was pressure cooked, the seafood taste like it was boiled and then toss in with the sauce instead of cooking the seafood in the sauce. The house sauce is delicious, doesn't taste fat at all very good for dipping. Crab was very soft and easy to open, but meat was bland however it's hard to get the meat to be soak with the sauce. Shrimp was fresh with head on, good size: You'll get about 10-15 shrimp per pound. Crawfish was semi fresh semi frozen, I can't describe it to you unless you've taste fresh crawfish. This is better than buffet crawfish for sure, . The meat was fresh but at the same time there's a hint of frozen taste to it but it ain't nasty 100% frozen like Chinese buffets. I assume it was fresh crawfish, but most likely imported so they had to cook it asap and froze it for a little bit and then cook it with the sauce whenever someone orders. Overall it was goood, good size as well. One pound is not enough, there was like less than 10 pieces of crawfish for a pound. Also got the garlic butter noodles, and the clams seafood basket. The noodles was delicious I loved it! For only $1.99 made me so full with the seafood. Clam basket was great, the French fries are good, very crispy very delicious. Clams were okay size, pretty small but not too small. Good flavoring as well. The restaurant is huge, very empty before dinner time, but very clean. I like the free gloves they provided, it was good quality gloves. Probably about .33mm thick wasn't cheap like the others that you'd have to pay for .25. Overall very good I would go again and again! I had such a high expectation about this place as it seemed always busy and I had such great experience when I went to a similar restaurant in Honolulu, called "Kickin Cajun". However, the food was nothing special really, and it was only spicy and my friend had upset stomach all night. Also unlike other similar restaurants, they didn't even provide disposal gloves. We were greeted and got seated pretty quickly. We ordered two Dungeoness crab and my friend got clams and mussels. We ordered oysters too. The waitress was really patience with us and even though we were being confusing and indecisive. The food came out and the oysters was decent. I've tasted better. Usually good oysters can be easily slurped in your mouth but these oysters didn't really come out of the shell easily. It was okay. The crab that we had was off color and didn't look fresh. My bf's crab was okay. But my crab barely had any meat inside and it was almost like it was old... I didn't think it would be like that so I kept eating it, so I opened the crab itself and there was literally no meat inside whatsoever... I was disappointed and I tried to tell the waitress that there's no meat inside the crab and how the crab itself wasn't good. And they said that the owner said since I ate it, they couldn't do anything about it. Like yeah I get it. I ate it but like the point is, how was I suppose to know that there was gonna be no meat overall for the crab? I don't know until I crack it open right?? I ordered for pick up and did not get a chance to dine in. Restaurant is clean and staff is friendly. As the name implies, crawfish is their specialty. You get a choice of Cajun, House, lemon pepper, and garlic butter with your crawfish. We ordered both the Cajun and house sauce. Both were very tasty. Besides crawfish, you can also order lobster, clams, shrimp, snow crab, king crab, oyster, catfish and other seafood. They just opened on June 10th, so have patience when it gets a little busy. This establishment is a great addition to Kent and the South King County area. I definitely recommend Boiling Crawfish to those that crave fresh crawfish and seafood. read more

Despite this place being so new, I think they pretty much nailed it! The food was fantastic. I really enjoyed all 3 flavors that I tried: House, Cajun, and Garlic & Butter. The owner was attentive and friendly, and so were the staff. I also appreciated the vinyl gloves and plastic bibs provided for much needed protection from eating such messy food. Overall my family and I had a great experience at this restaurant. Whenever we have cravings for crawfish and all things shell fish, we'll definitely be back to Boiling Crawfish. read more

Minh was an amazing server and made our experience so much more worth it. She truly was so kind and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our experience. Me and my partner are avid crawfish eaters but this was our first time trying boiling crawfish! We got two combo 1. One medium one mild. The shrimp was so fresh and not over cooked or mushy as some places do. The crawfish were smaller but overall the house special sauce was tasty! I came here at Friday night, actually I have just left the restaurant and started writing this review. When I went to the counter to pay, the cashier seemed like unhapply. I did not know why, but well, I told her that we got 4 beers instead of 3 that were charged on the bill. I was honest, and there was no Thank You from her. It was ok. And there was a kid in my group, and she ran around. Of course we knowleadge that kid is loud, so I tipped them well, like $30. However before we left, I heard a voice in the back, of course from the waitresses, who made a comment about kids that she does not like kids, because kids are loud and annoying blah,blah in Vietnamese. I mean it is ok for her to dislike kids, but at least she'd better to wait for us to leave the place than saying it out loud while we were still there. I don't know if it was just because she wanted us to hear that, or something, but that really pissed me off. The food was good, the guy who served my table was nice, but that comment from that lady made me give them 1 star for the rudeness. If I can take that $30 back, I will do it no matter how. If you think crawfish has a lot of meat, try it for yourself and see how little meat you get lol. The crawfish fried rice was absolutely killer but a little on the pricey side. For the combo, a lot of the crawfish were the size of my pinky, which was a little disappointing but the flavor was still outstanding.
