Unexpected mexican spot! My boyfriend took me here for lunch on a Sunday and it was so good. Hardly anyone was there when we first got there. It is a very large space. Service was good. When you are seated they bring chips and salsa for the table. We each had an Agua Fresca, strawberry and horchata. Both delicious. We ordered chorizo queso, carne asada fries, beans and rice, a shrimp taco, a fish taco, a pastor taco and an asada taco. Everything was very delicious, the queso was served with hot Tortillas. Two stars because servers were kind. Used to love this place. Went in, was served chips and salsa. Chips were all broken and salsa tasted like canned tomatoes, bland. Ordered al pastor, meat tasted old and tortillas were over fried and greasy. Served on a cheap paper plate with no silverware. Won't return. read more

I drove by and found out they have a canopy to serve food at midnight. The food was great, and the drinks are awesome. They only speak Spanish to me so all I can respond is "Si". I wanted to find out how late the canopy open but there are no where to be found on the web. Tried to call them and they don't answer the phone. read more

I've been visiting from L.A. for the past few months and finally came across this gem and I can honestly say that we had not one issue with everything we ordered. Food is definitely authentic and tasty! They had a Banda playing when we went in which added to the fun. Staff is efficient and friendly checking in multiple times. Place was packed but we were able to get a table. Definitely will be retuning to try some of the other items on the menu! read more

I gave this place a shot, they have been open for dining inside and outside since Saturday, June 6th with limited capacity. I saw some of their pictures online on Facebook and decided to give them a shot, and i did not regret it. I had the Birria Tacos and cheesy tacos, as well as their shrimp tacos I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND any of these options.Their sauces were really good and spicy for those that can handle the pain which was a plus for me. Food is very good. But is a long wait inside the restaurant. it took them 45 min to serve us the tacos. I think is faster if you buy your tacos when they are outside under the canopy serving from the trompo. There is definitely a language barrier however they are so kind and patient. The Shrimp Tacos are TO DIE FOR!! I really like their salsa when they do bring the chips and salsa. I go here at least twice a week the Aguas are delicious also! read more

The service was one of the worst I've been to. The waiter didn't understand us and he was very slow. We waited 45 mins to get our meals and he forgot 1 of them so we told him don't bother bringing it out. I've been wanting to try this place for awhile because I think it's the only place in Kent with birria tacos (and cheese ones as well). And boy was I pleasantly surprised! The tacos were realllly good and juicy. I also tried their shrimp tacos and they were great as well. I think their drinks (agua frescas) are made from scratch and not the usual powder that you get at most places. And they have a great green sauce! My boyfriend and I have been on the prowl for a good taco place in Kent and I think we found it. They have so many different kinds of tacos here that other restaurants in Kent don't usually offer. I would recommend this place to any of my friends and family - even a stranger! The service and food were horrible. Don't waste your time or money. My husband and I were exited to try this new restaurant, especially because they specialize in seafood but what a disappointment. It took over 30 minutes for the waitress to finally ask us if we were to order, I was ready to just walk out and leave but my husband convinced me to give them a second chance, I ordered a cóctel de Camaron and my husband ordered a 7 mares. The food has no flavor, needed salt and overall the experience was just horrible. I will not be going back, I rather go to a Mexican chain restaurant where I know they will at least offer chips and salsa. If this restaurant wants to stay in business they need to train their employees to have a sense of urgency when people walk in the door. Or people will start walking out of them and let me tell you there was only 2 other people in the restaurant so it's not like they were busy at all. read more
