This place is very nice and well kept clean. The staff is very friendly and welcoming to the customers. The food here is very delicious and worth the price. Definitely enjoyed my time here talking with some friends chilling and relaxing.

The tacos were good but not the best value $9+ for 4 small street tacos, while the quesabirria was $4.25 each. My favorites were the quesabirria, barbacoa, carnitas..in that order. Al pastor was somewhat of a letdown given that's what they're known for. Interior was no frills..tables, chairs and a limited salsa bar. The green salsa was my favorite. The Agua frescas were decent, but the piña didn't have any bits of pineapple like some of the other places. Overall 3.5 stars, but I'll round up because the service from the lady was friendly.

The restaurant is pretty small, but I was amazed on how they were able to add a bar on the right side of the restaurant with some tables for customers to dine in. It's snug, but it works! The staff there are great and helped all the customers timely. So, the wait was not long at all for our food. I ordered a chicken burrito and added guacamole with sour cream. The burrito was a good size and the price wasn't bad, too. But for the burrito itself, I felt like there was something missing. Not quite sure. My rating for the burrito itself would be a 3.5 out of the 5. I would like to give the overall rating 3.5, but that is not an option.

Love this place! Went here a few weeks ago. For Taco Tuesday great tacos ! Great service. Salsa Bar was good if something wasn't filled they would get right to it! Food comes out within good timing! Hot and delicious

    * on the hunt for the best tacos in Seattle * Not *quite* Seattle but within driving distance, out in Kent. 28 mins from south Seattle. @elranchito_consaboramexico was popping up wherever I searched as a recommendation. They have a pop up tent outside of their restaurant serving Al pastor. Fresh topping bar with a variety of salsa and lots of pineapple. We ordered the Al pastor torta, 3 Al pastor tacos, 2 carne asada, and 2 lengue with a large horchata - all for $39. In comparison to California street tacos, I would say these don't compare. Everything was good but the tortillas were on the drier side, not dipped in the meat juices. Meats were well seasoned but lacked heat. I like my torta bread to be thinner and crispier since I get sick of bread quick. The melted cheese was plus though! Horchata was a hit and I gotta say their service was A+. Food came fast and I got a replacement drink after dropping mine. Really appreciated that

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Kent. The food is amazing, the people are so kind, and the prices are great! I love the tortas and the birria!

Really more like a 3.5! Was craving some Mexican food, so we decided to support local at Taqueria El Ranchito that is right down the hill! My partner has been a long time supporter, but this was my first time. Service was okay. Cashier was not super friendly, but she probably was tired from a long day. Food took a while to come, but we took this time to grab some toppings at their self serve bar since we were taking our food home to eat. They make their El pastor outside on the weekends-- I loved this! Their pazole was my favourite, as it was perfect for this cold weather. It was less spicy (still flavourful) and was on the liquid side-- just how I like it! Their carne asada was a little tough for my liking but their lengua was the perfect texture. I enjoyed the meal and I hope to visit again to try some different tacos :)

Super solid Mexican comfort food that I was happy to drive out of the way for! Food was flavorful and fresh, not heavy feeling. Portions were hearty but not overwhelming. Highly recommend trying the pozole (with tortas on the side). It's a casual mom and pop type place, with friendly service and reasonable prices. I hear that in the evenings Fri-Sun, they cook and serve streetstyle food. Will have to give that a try sometime, too!

I love this place. The staff is friendly, the prices reasonable, and the food is always delicious. Authentic Mexican food is hard to find in the PNW but they have it right here.

Love their gigantic burrito! It's a nice spot for drinks with friends or just grab a take out. Service is great!

No matter if we are sitting in or taking out Taqueria El Ranchito never fails. Been coming here once a week for five months now. Food is always great. My husband loves the lambshank with flour tortillas, and I either get four different tacos, or Birria tacos. They also have the best flan around. When dining in you feel like you're in a little Mexican place. I recently came back from Cabo and it seemed more touristy, so comin here to Taqueria El Ranchito felt more authentic. Plus the service at this place is way above the rest. The two young ladies. I forgot their names already, always greet with a smile, one actually called me by name, walked me out the door and thanked me the other day. Today my hubby picked up the food and he told me how the two young ladies had over the top friendly service. I would support this mom and pop shop as long as they're at the little plaza down the street from my house. My team and I are actually going tomorrow for a dinner meeting. I got them hooked on this place too!

    Tripas & lingua tacos

You had me at "Al pastor"! These al pastor tacos on Friday and Saturday nights are the real deal. It's simple, but so delicious. The smokiness of the meat topped with pineapple chunks (came in a bag that you can add on, though I wish it's grilled), then topped with the spicy green salsa *insert chef's kiss emoji". Also gotta mention the tripas and lingua tacos are some of the best I've had in Seattle also. Last but not least, the lamb shank. It's unusual to find lamb shank at a Mexican restaurant. The meat is not the most tender, but the flavor is there. It came with a small container of consome (sauce the shank was cooked in). My husband used aka drank half of it xp Wait what? $1 on Taco Tuesday!! Hell yeah I'll be back next Tuesday

He only came here because he thought that if the tamal cost $6 then they had to be good. They were not. When I asked him where he got them and he said here, I looked it up on Yelp, who was saying they were permanently shut down. Little to no flavor. Traditional Guatemalan tamales have a slice of red bell pepper, and an olive in it, giving it more flavor but this one just had the meat and let me add that the amount of bones that were in the tamale was just absolutely unacceptable. Everyone knows that you don't put bones in tamales. The amount of times I bit into a bone or had to spit them out, made the eating process so unpleasant. I had told my husband to not come here anymore since it's so overpriced but I guess he forgot. It was just another reminder why I don't come here anymore

We ordered the churrasco chapin (grilled steak with rice, black beans, sausage and house salad) and dobladas (tortillas with beef, cabbage and onion and homemade tomato sauce). The dobladas were yummy and hefty but not too heavy. The churrasco wasn't bad, lots of food. Food comes out relatively fast and is a little more on the pricey side.
