What a pleasant surprise we went there instead of Taqueria El Rinconcito just so we could have a change. The place was cleaner and the service was just as good but what I particularly like was the food very delicious and affordable -- by the way, they also have an indoor bathroom

My most recent visit didn't go as planned, but I'm not going to totally fail them for it because of my previous visits. My most recent visit my rice and beans were cold and you can see how they plated in my soup. These people are always really friendly and the food is usually really good, but I don't know how you get cold food sent out to your diners sitting inside and that was the reason why I didn't take it to go. They're birria soup is really good but if you take it to go, then the containers only halfway filled but if you sit and eat the bowls overflowing. I guess you can't complain about everything. They're a little on the expensive side. They've got good Kearny, Asada, fries, and tacos.

Awesome street tacos, very authentic flavors and great salsas. A bit pricey compared to other taquerias but the food is worth it.

It's clear why this place is so popular. The atmosphere was welcoming, the restaurant was very clean, and everything ran smoothly even during a busy rush. This is a family-owned restaurant, and our server/owner, Raman Aurora, truly made the experience special her mom also checked on us. She was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive, especially considering how busy the place was. She checked on us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed and never made us feel rushed or forgotten. The level of hospitality was exceptional. We ordered the salmon omelette with house potatoes, along with pancakes from the kids' menu. The food arrived hot and fresh, and the portion sizes were huge, especially the salmon omelette. The amount of salmon in the omelette was very generous and impressive for such a reasonable price. You can tell they don't cut corners with quality or quantity. The house potatoes were perfectly cooked, and the pancakes were fluffy and delicious. One highlight was the homemade hot salsa, which was absolutely amazing fresh, flavorful, and just the right amount of heat. It paired perfectly with the omelette and really elevated the meal. They were also incredibly accommodating, especially since I had our 2 1/2-year-old nephew with me. They kindly gave us the seating I requested, which made our visit much more comfortable. They also gave him some goodies. The menu is excellent, with great variety, and the salmon omelette was highly recommended now I know why. Even though the restaurant was full and they were likely short-staffed, the service was efficient, organized, and friendly throughout our visit. It's rare to find a place that delivers great food, generous portions, fair prices, and outstanding service all at once. We were extremely impressed and will absolutely be back. Highly recommend Maggie on Meeker Breakfast to anyone looking for an amazing breakfast spot in Kent, Washington!

We have dined at Wild Wheat several times over the years and have always enjoyed it, even thought…read moreof it as a local gem however haven't been in some time. We went recently dined in on a holiday Monday and were very disappointed!! First, the state of cleanliness was very bad! The dining room needs a deep cleaning! Thick dust was observed on the worn, paint-chipped chairs and in low traffic areas of the floor; many pictures were hanging crooked on the walls; grime was visible on the walls and floor; the bathroom smelled heavily of urine. When a public space is this dirty and neglected, one wonders how unsanitary the kitchen might be! Service wasn't attentive - never had our drinks refilled or even checked on to ask how things were. The food was good and portions large but prices high even by current standards. Also it was a bit sickening to sit in the dining room. The owners and management need to work hard to improve from the OKAY rating from the Health Department and do some deep cleaning to return to the special restaurant it was years ago. We do not plan to return at this point.

I was surprised by the empty seats at the location. The place wasnt as welcoming despite the place looking the same as it did before. I ordered the crab benedict. It was supposed to be on an English muffin. It was on two pieces of stale bread. The crab was just okay. My friend thought the bagel wasnt bad though. Its just a bagel with cream cheese. We also ordered a mocha with two shots. Tastes like a decent cup of coffee. Our server was nice though. Left us alone and didnt bother us. You have to pay at the front to close out your bill, which we didnt mind as we spent a good time here catching up. Overall, it was ok. Maybe its the fact that the food safety on the place was rated as okay and that threw me off, but comparing the quality years ago to now, to me it isnt the same.

Karla came over right away and helped us with the kindest attitude. When we asked how to add sauces, she said, "They're free, just let me know which ones you want," and brought us two of each to try. It's so refreshing to visit a place that doesn't nickel and dime you. After placing our order, I realized I forgot to get a patty for our dog. Karla came by to check on us, and when I told her, she said she would make sure it came out with our food. It actually came out a few minutes before, which was perfect so our dog could eat first. That level of care really stood out. As for the food, everything was delicious. The loaded fries were savory and rich with a perfectly cooked egg on top. The burgers were juicy and flavorful, and the truffle fries with greens were a nice balance. The orange juice was honestly one of the best I've had. It was fresh, tangy, and had just the right amount of sweetness. The space itself is bright, open, and welcoming. There are games at every table, and it's both dog friendly and family friendly. We'll definitely be back. Karla, thank you for going above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

Finally checked out West Hill Deli! Absolutely loved their food and ambiance…read more For food, we got the adobo pork belly (comes with macaroni salad, rice, and vegetables on the side) and the pandan fried chicken (comes with rice and veggies on the side). Pandan was super crispy and rice was soft, not mushy. Adobo was rich in garlic and in smoky and sweet flavor. Love they kept the fat on some adobo pieces. Each dish was just enough for us to finish for breakfast. For drinks, we ordered the calamansi juice and calamansi iced tea. Both taste great. Side notes: You order up front, bring your table number, and sit wherever you like. They will bring you your food. Once youre done, please put your food away in the back, which is located on the left hand side of the deli if youre facing the deli at the entryway. It was busy on a Sunday around noon. A few were available but was filled quickly after about half an hour of us arriving. People tend to spend time here. About an hour if youre just there to have a quick meal, but families were gathering and spending time with no rush which i loved. No waitress or waiter to check on you, just only to bring you your food which took a reasonable 2 minutes for drinks and about 10 - 15 for food. Overall, we definitely recommend!

The longanisa had that nice sweet-savory balance, and the garlic rice was fragrant and comforting, though I'd still pick the sisig if I had to choose between the two. The ube pancakes were delicious soft, slightly sweet, and definitely a fun treat. Fair warning though, they will leave your teeth a little purple for a bit but honestly worth it. I also got the ube coffee and... YUM. Such a good combo with the pancakes. Overall, everything was solid and full of flavor. I'd definitely come back, especially for that pork sisig. Tita is definitely cooking in the back you can taste it.

Both items were so beautiful !! It looked so good and I couldn't wait to dig in. The latte was a deep disappointment. It just tasted like a kids type vanilla milk and left a weird after taste. Then I tried the French toast and realized these are the same type of French toast I buy from the freezer section when I go snowboarding. You pop them in the microwave but have to eat them quick otherwise the steam wears off and your French toast becomes stiff. They were not fresh, made from batter and cooked on a stove top. I don't think they microwaved them long enough because the corners were rock hard and the middle was a little rubbery. I wouldn't be upset if it wasn't $12 for the French toast. I should've just went to ihop lol. But again, at least everything looked pretty and the staff was nice.

Since it was our first time there, we weren't familiar with the ordering process or menu. I didn't want to hold up the line trying to decide what to order, so I asked if we could sit down first and look over the menu. She cleaned off a table for us, but then told me I needed to hurry up and order because she didn't want other people getting upset about how long it would take me to decide. I didn't respond and simply waited until we were ready to order, which only took about four minutes. What confused and upset me was that shortly after, a white man came in and she told him he could sit down, take his time, and order whenever he was ready because "it's not busy." The difference in treatment was very noticeable and honestly made me uncomfortable as an African-American woman. Maybe this was a misunderstanding, but the interaction did not sit right with me. I believe every customer should be treated with the same patience and respect, especially first-time customers who are simply trying to understand how the restaurant works. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and does better moving forward.

Good day, Yelpies,…read more There's something quietly remarkable about a restaurant that survives not just decades, but generations of changing tastes--and still manages to feel relevant. This establishment, which first opened its doors in Seattle in 1967 before relocating to Sea-Tac in 1976 under the guidance of the original owner's wife, carries with it more than just longevity--it carries legacy. Its name traces back to Lima, Peru, inspired by Las Trece Monedas--a folkloric tale of a humble young man who, armed with only thirteen coins, pledged unwavering love and devotion to win the heart of a wealthy man's daughter. It's a fitting origin story for a restaurant rooted in perseverance, passion, and heartfelt hospitality. Half a century later, those same values echo through every plate and every interaction. The menu delivers consistently satisfying fare, and the service operates with a rhythm that only comes from years of refinement. But perhaps most impressive is the sheer ambition of it all--executing quality food around the clock, 24 hours a day, is no small feat. It's the kind of operational endurance that deserves recognition on its own. Whether you arrive for breakfast at dawn, a late-night dinner, or anything in between, this is a place that meets you where you are--and feeds you well when you get there. Cheers --The Dutchman
