My co-workers hyped up this spot for me and I can easily say that this is probably one of the best Mexican spots that is not only really affordable but delicious. Additionally, their salsa bar actually packs good heat and so many different types of condiments or salsas that compliment their food. The service here is pretty non-existent but that's not really an issue for a spot that you go to order and you pick up, refill your drinks or whatever else you need and bus your own table. The food portions are also huge here so come hungry or be ready to be full for most of the day and have leftovers. I got the tamales, my boyfriend got their chimichanga and we got a jumbo taco with cabeza and carne asada. The food took a bit of time to come out but it looks like they were having a steady flow of customers coming in and going. When we did get our food, it was piping out and delicious. The beans here were meh, but the rice was decent. The meats are generous in all their entrees. They also have a great special for Thursdays where you get a drink, fries and a torta for 7.49 plus tax which we got for my brother and he enjoyed his chorizo torta. What a great surprise! I had to run into Kent for a couple of things today and I passed this place up on 104th in the same parking lot as Value Village and planet fitness. Ample parking and seating for around 50 people inside. Lobby was very clean and well presented. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I ended up getting the Saturday special which was five taquitos, rice beans, and a drink. Great value for only $7.49. Food was delicious and nicely prepared. We've come here a few times and the ambiance is definitely screaming Mexican and then you hear the traditional Mexican music in the background. We were greeted right away to order. Everyone there has been very kind and great customer service. I had a chorizo taco and a adobada taco and they were huge! They were 3x the size of street tacos. It was delicious though and filling. I picked up an order of Carne Asada fries from this restaurant. When I got home and opened the box, I found a long straight hair mixed into the food. No one in my household has straight hair, so it clearly came from the kitchen. I drove back immediately with the food (untouched except for the ketchup I added on top). When I calmly asked for a refund or a replacement, I was told they would not refund me because I put ketchup on it. Adding ketchup doesn't magically put someone else's hair in the food. It was still contaminated and clearly unsafe to eat. I ended up leaving without a refund and handed the food back to them. Instead of apologizing and fixing the situation, they made excuses. If a restaurant won't follow basic health and safety, and then refuses to make it right, that's a huge red flag. This experience was disappointing, unsanitary, and unprofessional. I hope they take food safety seriously and improve their hygiene practices. Until then, I can't recommend eating here. read more

I can not lie... it's difficult to find good food in this state. However, The food was pretty good.

I ordered the taquitos with beef and was very disappointed! The meat had no seasoning whatsoever. It came with beans and rice the rice was ok had a lot of corn in it and barely any flavor. The beans tasted like they were out of a can and had cheese on top that was not melted . Ordered a side of sour cream and guacamole that was $5.00 bucks again very disappointed it was beyond watered down extremely runny. The food here is SO good! The prices are low and you get a ton of meat and tasty, flavorful food. We go here regularly and there are so many good choices that we always have to think about if we want our favorites or if we want to try something different. Service is kind and fast. The beans were bland and barely warm, the cheese never even melted. The rice had carrots and green beans which was gross. I only finished the burrito and regretted ever bite. Ok, we just tried this new place tonight, it opened a few weeks ago. We wanted to check out the place so we walked inside and it was nice, clean, bright, with clean tables and floors and the staff behind the counter were friendly and quick. We placed a to-go order of carne asada tacos, and one egg, bacon, & potato breakfast burrito. I have to say the tacos were excellent as was the burrito, and the burrito was huge too! For our first time visit, we were very impressed...I hope they get a following of customers and they stick around for a while, that area of Kent is pretty sketchy so I hope this place is able to stay in business. This place was great. We ordered Tamales, Carne Asada Fries, and chorizo breakfast burritos. The tamales were very flavorful and not dry at all. So good. The carne asada fries were hefty and delicious. Lots of meat and cheese with some sour crème on top a bed of golden fries. Yum. Our drinks were half sprite half jamaica and it was delicious. Ate here a few months ago, the food was not great. Like many others below, the food in general is bland. I ordered the Jumbo Deluxe Burrito for myself and ordered the Kent Burrito for my roommate. He literally couldn't finish it due to being oversalted. I also ordered the "Tater Tots" and they are literally fries. Those are not the same thing and they seriously need to change the name of the order. Why call it Tater Tots? Just call it fries, there's no reason to misname something so basic. Also, to the guy who's talking down to others who are giving this place legitmate feedback about their food, saying they must be sad people living sad lives.
