Hello everyone! I'm going to start with the ambiance, nice cozy place. Music playing big Flat screen TVs to enjoy sports. Service is really cool. I came in at lunch, on a Saturday. The server was very nice and friendly. I started with a simple lemonade. Not bad to start. Then I had a Catfish, 6 Shrimp, 3 Oysters plate with fried rice and gumbo. My fish was small and had no seasoning. The shrimp was great with the red sauce. The Oysters was seasoned, just small. The gumbo had good flavor. The food was mediocre and the prices were astronomical. Garlic noodles were mushy, red beans and rice were terrible. They didn't have any flavor and the rice was undercooked. The margaritas are wine based from a machine so very weak in the alcohol department, but the seafood boils had good flavor. Staff was really nice and accommodating. I did like that they have a sink at the back of the restaurant to clean your hands. read more

The service was quick and the restaurant was clean. We got the crawfish in the Cajun mild and it was burning my lips. We usually go to the original location and they do the house sauce but I was confused at their new menu. Best crawfish cafe location that I've been to so far!!! (I've tried Alief and the Heights) The food at the Cypress location was amazing and so satisfying! I got 3 lbs of crawfish with the grail sauce, 2 snow crab clusters with the grail sauce, fried flounder, and the oyster sampler. Everything was delicious! The sizes of the crawfish & snow crab were also decent. The only thing I didn't care for the Vietnamese style oyster. It was just alright and I'll always prefer charbroiled. Food and service is exceptional. This spot has a relaxed family oriented vibe. I was introduced to Crawfish Cafe about 2 years ago and this and one other spot (depending on which side of town I'm on) are the only places where I go for crawfish. The only drawback is they don't have call-ahead seating. You may run into a wait time upwards of an hour or more during peak crawfish season. Thankfully At Home is next door and can be a great time filler until your table is ready. There is a small section for outdoor seating but I wish it was bigger. On a recent visit , Brandon was our server and he was great. Very attentive! I highly recommend Crawfish Cafe at 290 in Cypress!! Simply the best!!. read more

The Crawfish Cafe has a good variety on their menu. The the crawfish eggrolls and the crawfish cheese bread were both really good. We got a crawfish fried rice was very nice and a good size portion. The sausage was a little salty but when you paired it with the boiled potato or egg, it was better balanced. The garlicky noodles and red beans and rice were both very good. Unfortunately, the oysters were so salty, we could not eat them. And one of our party got the oyster Poboy. Virtually all of that sandwich was left on the plate. The beignets were absolutely gorgeous. Overall, we do recommend the crawfish Café. We believe the oysters were a one off and they are not normally that salty. read more

I'm so glad Crawfish Cafe has made its way to the Cypress area! The crawfish options on this area is very slim and not all that great. This place however hits the spot!! Also let me also mention that parking is available and free compared to the heights location. The service and ambiance is chill. Able to watch the playoffs and eat yummy food and drinks. Our server was very knowledgeable in recommending foods and flavors. Only complaint I would say is that the beer bottles weren't ice cold. When you are eating spicy delicious food, you want that cold drink to quench your thirst. Other than that...I'll definitely be coming back!! read more

My husband and I decided to give this place a try. We walked in and about 25% of the restaurant was open, but the hostess asked us to wait 10min. So we sat down. She sat us about 20min later. The service was slow but it appeared they were very understaffed. The wait staff was running around like crazy. We started with the crawfish garlic bread and the crawfish egg rolls. I loved the garlic bread, but my husband said it lacked flavor. The egg rolls were just meh... For our dinners we ordered the whole fried flounder and the shrimp po-boy. We both loved the fries, but the main dishes were not an "order again". The batter on my shrimp was interesting and not in a good way. It had large clumps of what my husband said tasted like peanuts in it. It ruined the taste and texture of the shrimp. The garlic noodles were very dry and the red beans and rice missed out on flavor. His fish was just that, a fried whole fish. Nothing special. The restaurant smelled outstanding but whatever we smelled, unfortunately it was not something that we ordered. We probably won't go back due to the service and the not so great food. read more

I got the fried crawfish po-boy, which comes with one side. The bread was actually pretty good as it was a little crispy, airy, fluffy and reminds me of a Vietnamese baguette. The fried crawfish was not cold or hot and had a light seasoned batter. The mayo, cold shredded lettuce and cold sliced tomato were good toppings. There's a variety of sides to choose from like gumbo or hash puppies to name a few, but I decided to get the garlic noodles. Omg finally a really really good crawfish place in Cypress. Yall it was 5 mins drive for me versus 30 mins. Today was grand opening so we had the 8.00 crawfish special. I got 5lbs in the signature flavor , spicy level and it was delicious. Very juicy, large perfectly cooked crawfish. Flavor was top notch, delicious garlicky, buttery, just soo good. It was a bit crowded but hey it's grand opening with the a cheap price. The size of the restaurant was big, there's even outdoor patio seating.
