Our server, Sarah, was an absolute legend. She had us stacked up on drinks and food the entire time and provided excellent service. The menu is amazing. They had so many great options. We went here after a tour of the plantation. And I ordered the fish and shrimp plate. There was one (1) piece of fish (a white fish) I think five (5) shrimp and three (3) hush puppies and fries (I got Cajun fries). Everything was fresh and hot. I got the free refill lemonade. The loaded fries were wonderful. Service was good and we enjoyed sitting outside in the outdoor area. I have had burgers that have been great and their fish and shrimp are excellent. Finally paid Crawfish and Chill a visit. I ordered takeout got to hang out at one of their outdoor tables while they prepared the order.. On this visit I picked up a fish basket and a shrimp basket to enjoy at home with the fam and I felt like a conquering victorious hero bring these baskets home to share. On the ride home the aroma of this food drove me crazy hungry and we were happy to find both the shrimp and catfish portion huge and tasty! Food was good, a bit quiet for a Sunday lunch time. Ordered Crabcakes, fried alligator, and Gumbo soup. Service was quick, Server was friendly, food was hot and arrived quickly. Dining room area was large and spacious and looked like a bar and grill. Atmosphere was okay. We were looking for someplace to eat and this place happened to be next door to our hotel. So glad we got the recommendation from the hotel staff. The food was delicious. Tried this new location and enjoyed the seafood. We had crawfish and snow crabs. Both were flavorful with a nice little kick. The wait wasn't too long and they reminded us that they serve the seafood hot & fresh so we didn't mind the 15minutes or so. read more

I was so disappointed in the crawfish. They were really small and falling apart. The reheated crawfish should be sold at a lower price.

My wife and I really enjoyed the food, it was spicy but not overwhelming. Our server gave us excellent service. Refilled our drinks in a timely manner, she even gave us more drinks to go. Highly recommended. read more

Waited for my carry out for 50 minutes after I had been alerted it was ready for me, only to be given the boil 40 dollars cheaper then the boil I ordered. Have called two days in a row attempting to speak to a manager to get a partial refund, haven't gotten through. Was overall disappointed, the boil was fine. EDIT: finally got through to someone after calling repeatedly including the day of the order and they can't do anything for me, poor attitudes. read more

I don't understand how this place has only 3.8 stars when the food is very good and service is good. You also get generous portions.

We went out of our way to go to this spot to get away from all the French quarter stuff. We went with the intentions of crab legs for the kids. We got the sauce on the side to make sure it wasn't too spicy for anyone. You can get them sauced regular as well. The house sauce was delicious! My wife got a shrimp po boy and loved it. The shrimp was seasoned well and the bread was fresh. The fries were good. Fries are fries. They do have crawfish fries on the menu that look awesome if you want to get fancy! My youngest got the fried shrimp from the kid menu and it was a nice sized portion. Their sweet tea was very good and tasted fresh. I only mention the tea because if you're a sweet tea lover you like to know ahead of time. Our waitress and hostess were very friendly and helpful with the menu. Both had great personalities and smiles. Lastly we got red beans and rice and jambalaya to go just to taste later and it was delicious! Great spot. Great service. Crawfish and chill is very consistent with good boiled seafood. My husband craves the sauces that come on the side with the boiled seafood. The service is always great and food comes out quickly. My favorite dishes so far are the spinach and artichoke dip with crawfish and melted cheese on top, the Cheeto covered boudin balls (sounds odd but they're so good), and their boiled shrimp was great. Honestly haven't had anything bad from their menu in the 2 times I've been. Also tried their. Catfish which was fried think with cornmeal batter. So good. Great atmosphere too with lots of windows. Stick to off peak times such as lunch and dinner and you will enjoy the meal without crowds. Cajun fries are great as well as the gumbo.

Tried this place out for the first time and it was such a hidden gem. We ordered the Margarita Flight (one frozen, one on rocks), Loaded Crawfish Fries, Cajun Shrimp Alfredo, and the Crabster Boiled Special. They even had kids meal options (Chicken Nuggets & Fries or popcorn shrimp) for our little one! We started off with two Margarita Flights. They came in 4, each a different type of flavor and color. One frozen, one on rocks. It was a great way to start off our dinner. I think this one was off menu, but our server Crystal recommended it to us and we would definitely do it again. Loaded Crawfish Fries - 10/10. When I tell you, it came with just the right amount of crawfish so that you had it in every bite! Great seasoning as well. Such cheesy, delicious goodness I still dream about it. Cajun Shrimp Alfredo - very well seasoned and creamy! It had a good amount of shrimp in it. Our friend who is not a huge fan of seafood (but wanted to try it) enjoyed it as well. I would definitely recommend this item. And the star of the show, The CRABSTER. One word. No actually three. Sauce. Sauce. Sauce. I forget the name of it, but the red sauce was my FAVORITE. It had the perfect amount of spice for me, so that it wasn't overwhelming and you could still taste the freshness of the seafood. They also had this melted butter sauce which was very good as well. But personally I'm a spice girl, so my highlight was definitely the red sauce on the seafood. Our order came with snow crab, lobster, shrimp, corn, potato, egg, sausage. The seafood was excellent and savory. Please don't underestimate the size here. You get a good portion! The Atmosphere/Service was the cherry on top to an amazing meal. A friend and I decided to try out the new place in Luling. What a disappointment, will NEVER go back. We went for lunch today and had to walk out after ONE hour, we never got any food! We had to hunt the waitress down to place our order, we ordered 2 SIDE salads and a fried shrimp basket, never got our salads. Had to hunt our waitress down to ask if we were getting our salads after 40 minutes! Seriously, these were side salads, nothing complicated! We were told that the kitchen was backed up and they'd be out in a few minutes, after another 15-20 minutes waiting we decided to leave. Can't comment on the food, NEVER got it! Service was lacking, no one ever came around to update us on food or to apologize. Actually if I hadn't told the hostess we were leaving and why, they never would've known. read more

Good was decent and service was polite. However when I got my bill, every item was more expensive than the menu indicated. I assumed that if I paid cash, it would go back to the original price. It didn't. I still paid above the menu price. I asked the waitress about it and she didn't seem to understand. It wasn't worth spending the time to discuss.
